I actually found this place while trying to find a good auto-shop online. My car was leaking and the drive belt was cracked. I called them, and they said they could get me in the very next day! I went in, and they inspected it while I waited. Nick came back to explain what exactly was wrong with the car, and even took me back to show me himself! He pointed out what was wrong, and why. Apparently the belt was not just cracked, but coming off. It was also leaking oil, which was not helping and was allowing the belt to slip more. He stated that it may take a while to get it repaired, and I should expect it the next day. However, when I expressed my concern over this, as I had work the following day, he said he would try and get it finished within the day, and would stay late if necessary. He did just that very thing, and called me after their usual closing hours to inform me it was finished and ready to pick up! Despite his hours being up, he still took me and showed me what exactly he replaced, as well as what had happened from the initial damage. They had also charged me less than initially stated, and informed me of the mistake despite having already resolved it! It was incredibly kind of them to do so, as many places would not admit to an error, or would not attempt to resolve it beforehand. Either way, it was amazing, and the price was a lot less than the original market value is! My mom was impressed by how decent of a price they gave, and stated she may take her car there next time that it needs repairs. Nick was incredibly helpful, and I would definitely reccommend his shop for any necessary repairs. The atmosphere was amazing as well, and all the crew seemed to have a very good working relationship together. Not to mention the dog is very friendly. He licked my hand, and is the gentlest dog I have ever met, despite being a bigger size. Although I guess dogs aren't as important for reviews to an autoshop, but...I felt the dog needed to be mentioned anyways. 10/10 exceptional service, great prices, and all around amazing auto repair. Let me start off by saying I admit I am a high maintenance customer. I brought my BMW to Big Nick's Auto with some weird symptoms (engine fan kept going on and off) that ended up being the water pump and thermostat. Nick and Jamie not only were patient with me by answering all my questions, but were extremely fair with the price considering all the time Nick and his team had to spend on my vehicle. Nick went out of his way to save me money by finding a part that was affordable (had to call several parts dealers), and took the extra time to get the job done right. Nick and Jamie are honest business owners and Nick is the only mechanic I trust. This is not the only vehicle I have had repairs on and Nick consistently goes out of his way to do what's best for the vehicle and his customers by only replacing the parts that are absolutely necessary saving us money. Not everything went perfect but in the end I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend Big Nick's Auto to all of my friends and family! These guys are awesome!!! Only to be outdone by Kaos. Kaos is the shop dog, you gotta meet him. If you want your vehicle repaired correctly, go to these guys. Jami & Nick are great to deal with. Took my truck to them needing to have a new engine put in. For those who know me, I'm very picky about my truck and customer service. So I read some reviews, read how they handled the bad ones (btw the customer is NOT always right), called and asked some questions and I was sold on Big Nick's Auto before I ever walked in the door the first time. I've rebuilt a number of cars and engines in my day, but did not have time due to my work schedule to fix my truck. So I handed it off to them and they took amazing care of it. They under promised and over delivered which is amazing in my book. Even when I became an annoyance asking questions about the repair, Nick was ever so gracious to answer all of them. If you're looking for a raving testimonial about Big Nick's, look no forward. My entire experience there was absolutely incredible! I needed quite a bit of work on my SUV, so I took it to Nick. Best decision I ever made. Seriously, he is an amazing human being. A good soul, if you know what I mean. He is so very fair with his pricing that it left me jaw-dropped. And the work on my vehicle was exemplary. He and his wife are just those hard-to-find, honest to God good people who actually care about other people. They look you right in the eye, quite frankly, because they can. Why? Because they know they aren't gouging you. And, you know it, too. Nick is very reliable and know what he does. My Lumina won't start and couldn't figure what was wrong with it. I initially took it to another mechanic who couldn't work on it or figure the problem so I took it to Nick who promised he will get it fixed. On the third day, I got a call from him that my car was ready for pick up. I was so excited and I promised to pick it up before he close but I couldn't make it before he closed. Although he closed, he was willing to come to the shop at 9pm just for me to pick up the car. Unfortunately after picking up the car, it broke down again the next day, with the same issues which I think has to do with electrical problem causing the malfunctioning. He and the wife drove by my house after reporting to him and put in another part to have my car running again. Nick is loyal and responsible and with good attitude. They did a out of this world amazingly good job on my diesel truck. My truck needed a lot of heavy duty work the was very detailed and they did it perfectly. Big Nicks is amazing!!! I had a car that had been to other shops. They would just put a band-aid on it and send me out the door. This was my daughter's vehicle,so it was important that it be safe and reliable. Nick felt the same way. He did everything possible to try and fix it. He even brought in other mechanics to help. Unfortunately, the car was deemed unfixable or too expensive to fix and I agree. Nick and his wife Jaime run a very honest shop. They have the best prices around and are very accommodating. Nick did not charge me for the work he put into my car. He could have charged me hundreds of dollars. All of his employees are hard working and respectful. I will only use Big Nicks from now on. When I arrived, I was greeted by Luis and he was friendly, understanding and accommodating. I explained I was on a limited budget and was hoping to have the vehicle repaired that day. First time customer and now plan to be long term customer Called in the morning and left in the evening very satisfied My vehicle had started overheating and I was afraid of the dreaded extortionate quote - turned out to be a loose ground wire on the cooling fan and was fixed under the cost of the inspection fee- could have told me anything and I would have went with it.....great integrity..... I took my 2013 Dodge Charger RT AWD for front axle replacement, water pump and assessment on a oil leak that looked like a rear main seal. Nick quoted a great price and found some other issues...ball joints and A arms. He also concluded the oil leak was likely a oil sensor ring. Their inspection process was awesome...came with plenty of pictures and notes with how urgent the repair was. He got my car done in a day and no issues since. I called at 0915 and my car was being worked on by 1030 and I live 45 mins away.. they did an assessment and gave a great quote and immediately jumped into it.
