UPDATE: I recieved a call from big o shortly after writing this review. They are changing out my tires for the heavier duty tires at no additional charge!!! They also explained that the evergreen store gets extremely busy this time of year due to the first snow storms and that stores down the hill might have more time to do tire rotations this time of year. I'm changing my rating to 5 stars I needed new tires for my F150 this past summer so I headed to Big O in Evergreen. I informed my sales guy that I would be hauling a 2000 pound truck camper in the bed of my truck. He sold me some tires and said that they would work great for all year tires and would be able to handle the camper's load. He told to bring my truck back in with the camper before going camping so that they could put more air in the tires to support the camper's weight. When I bought the camper in for more air the tire tech informed me that if he put anymore air in the tires I could potentially experience a blowout!!! He told me that I should have 10 ply tires, not the 2 ply that the sales guy sold me. I talked to the sales guy and his story was that I had the right tires and that the tire techs aren't trained as extensively as the sales guys so they really don't know what they are talking about ("they know how to change tires, though")??? So now have have 2 ply tires that look like they are flat when caring the camper. It's not a good feeling driving down the road knowing that a blowout could occur at any time. Big O offers FREE tire rotation when you buy tires from them. I took my truck in on November 12th 2018 and asked to get my tires rotated. They told me that I needed an appointment and the first available appointment was on December 4th 2018. The only other option was to leave my truck with them for 2 DAYS to get the tires rotated. read more

Love this place. Especially love Ashley! She's awesome and has hooked me up with tires a few times. She always explains everything super thoroughly and goes over pricing in detail. I never feel pressured to buy anything I don't want to buy. I needed snow tires pretty quickly and she ordered studded tires that fit my car and had them delivered the next day. You can't get out of this shop without an up sell! My first experience, was when I was told my tires were wearing out because of bad struts. Rob at MIT Automotive confirmed that it is extremely rare for the struts to go bad at that mileage. This fall I brought a car in for a winter tire swap. Was told I needed an alignment. Seemed strange, since I just had an alignment at the summer swap, but I had it done again. While there, I also bought four winter tires for a different car. Today, two weeks later, I got the tires swapped on the other car. Again, I was told that the car needed an alignment, and if it was not done, it would nullify the warranty on the tires. Again, I had them do the alignment. While waiting for the alignment, I listened to a steady stream of very friendly calls to owners who needed alignments, wipers, filters and suspension work. By the time I left, I was charged an additional $29.95 per tire to have them mounted and balanced and $6.55 for the air! Came home and checked my service records. That car has only had 400 miles since the last alignment! Yes, it is possible that I hit a pothole and threw out the alignment. But a records review shows that I've "needed" an alignment every time I've had a tire swap at Big O. Tires Plus recommend an alignment once a year. Most dealers and the American Society of Automotive Engineers recommend every two to three years, if the vehicle is pulling to the side, or if indicated by irregular tread wear. It was very disingenuous for the owner to write a reply suggesting that I contact him after we had already spoken on the phone. After spending over $800 per year, over ten years, I would have expected a better response than "I'm sorry you misunderstood." As with every other service I "needed" I was not told that the work was needed until my car was in the shop. When seven different cars have needed additional work every time they went in the shop, it points toward a problem with the shop, rather than the cars. The people there are very friendly, but a careful review of ten years of records, on seven different cars, tells me that this shop cannot be trusted. read more

My experiences at Big O in Evergreen have been nothing but top notch. Today, I went in to have them check an oil leak after the dealership mostly blew me off. Ashley informed me of what they most often discover is the issue with this type of oil leak, also looked up any recalls on my vehicle. Ashley was correct, they cleaned up my vehicle, fixed the problem and she even gave me a heads up of a particular issue that I can expect in the future with my vehicle, allowing me to save money in the future. This Big O has never steered me wrong, I find that I can trust their advice when it comes to my vehicles. read more

We have been using Big O tires for many years now living in Evergreen. They are convenient and when you buy tires with them they will change them at no charge every season to rotate between summer and winter tires. Linda is the best at customer service. Years ago, when I couldn't find my winter tires in our shed - I called Big O and they had stored them for me for the entire season. My husband had forgotten to pick them up. Amazing customer service. And yes- I am writing this review because I forgot to pick up my summer tires again this season and you stored for me again. You guys are great! I am heading to Big O today to pick up my summer tires again that I left with you last November. I only buy tires from Big O because all my experiences have been great over the years now. read more

Do not take a performance car here! They were unprofessional. Drove my car off unnecessarily and was a fraction of an inch from a curb. After I called them out they told me "had to reset the sensors". They also put the incorrect amount of air pressure in the new tire. It was a joke and I will be taking my business elsewhere! read more

I would not go back here ever again, bought new tires there 6 weeks ago or so, we had a 4 o'clock appointment and still took almost 2 hours for them to get the tires on the car. I had a flat so I put on the spare and went back over since we had purchased the protection plan, every where I have ever bought tires and took one in they could get in back to me within a couple of hours. Not Big O in Evergreen they called me the next day and said the tire was bad so they had to have one delivered and would be ready the next day. I waited all day on a call and finally called them to see if it was ready. The next day I went to Evergreen to pick up the tire and expecting it to be covered like they said it was I did not take any cash with me. When I got there to pick up the tire I find out they are charging over $50.00 for taking one tire off the rim and putting the new one on and balancing the one tire. That's like maybe 10 minutes work if you are really bad at doing it. Its not like they had to take it off my car and then put it back on (I would have to wait an hour or so for them to do that as well) To tell the truth it does appear that WalMart stands behind their stuff better than Big O read more

I called yesterday about swapping winter and summer tires, and I was told that if I arrive at 7 am the next day, and leave the car, they would get it done. I arrived sharply at 7, and was told that they were completely booked and that I should not have been told to bring my car in this morning. This is complete BS. What a waste of time on a Saturday morning no less. Never again. You're FIRED!!! Update: After posting this review, the store manager, Russel, tracked me down within an hour and actually called me. He explained his position, and offered to make an appointment somewhere else today and even drive me back and forth to the other business to get me taken care of. So, I came in looking for some tires to get me through the snow and the sales guy sold me on some Cooper Mud and Snow tires. I wasn't real sure about them, but after the first snow they bit well. I got them studded which was a loud choice, but I'm not fretting the ice anymore. I'm writing my review today as I did my first follow up visit with them for an oil change and a rotation and they did a nice job. I didn't give 5 stars as I couldn't do it on a walk in, I had to call ahead, but they did let me bring my dog in (not that you could say no to that in this town). Came in to mount/balance winter tires on my VW Jetta. I left my car there and came back to pick it up (instead of waiting which I would recommend) because it was a 1-2 hour wait. Within 2 hours my car was done! They even checked all of my fluids and inspected everything for me. They were really nice and I had no issues. If you live in Evergreen I would recommend comming here instead of Goodyear or Walmart (I have tons of issues with both of those places). read more

My son took his car in for an aliment and was told he needed $300 of work before it could be done. The problem is the parts they wanted to replace were brand new. Seems like they are trying to take advantage of a young man who should be able to trust them. I would recommend trying to stay clear of this place unless its an emergency, and Wal-Mart across the street might be the way to go. read more

Brought in car (Toyota Rav 4) for new michelin tires as the tread was worn on Michelin Latitude tour at less than 30,000 miles with manufacturer warranty of 65,000. Received warranty offer and replaced tires with Michelin Defender. However, inspection by this site reported leaking rear struts, leaking and dirty transmission oil, dirty cabin air filter with a quote to fix all for $1754. I had however had Toyota service only 600 miles previously. None of these problems were identified by Toyota. When I challenged them on their findings they backtracked on all except the leaking struts, a dubious finding anyway. I will never do business with this shop again. read more

This location offers excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and goes out of their way to offer excellent customer service. If you end up waiting for your car, they have a bright, sunny waiting room, and there is a Starbucks right next door. We have purchased tires here for years with good results, but yesterday they really went out of their way. On Sunday I noticed that my front tires were severely worn and needed to be replaced right away. I took my car in first thing Monday morning. Chris called the tire manufacturer, got me a customer care discount due to premature wear on the tires, got four new tires in a hard to find size delivered up the hill, aligned the car, and had it ready for pick up by late afternoon. Chris squeezed my car in on a really busy holiday weekend with no problems. Couldn't ask for a better experience! read more

I have been a Big O customer for many years and have always been pleased with the service they provided. This past week the Evergreen Big O stepped up to solve a fluke issue with my brake system that stumped even the most experienced brake technician and Toyota specialist. They provided excellent communication, mechanical solutions, and hard to find professionalism. In the end my truck was like new and I am able to safely transport my family to the destination. I'm sure they may be good for tires as it's their name sake, but if you ever have car troubles DO NOT bring your car here. There is a Firestone close by that would most likely be better. The story - I broke down on E bound I70 and had my vehicle towed to this location to get it repaired but all they did was cause damage to my vehicle. They thought I may be out of gas but I told them I had just filled up the day before. I had a locking gas cap and when they couldn't locate the key they gave me a call to ask. I told them where the key was and they said they may get to it the next day or two. Two days later I received a call that they still couldn't open the gas cap. I told the employee that I had already let them know two days prior where it was and told her again where it was. Then I received a call back saying the lock was broken and it had looked like someone had tried to jimmy it open with a screwdriver. I drove all the way up there and sure enough someone had shoved a flat head into the key slot and broken the lock. Everyone denied that they would do such a thing, even the manager/owner said they would never do such a thing. They had to break off the gas cap and of course the cost of a new cap was on me. Keep in mind it took them four days to do so and then they discovered that it was in fact not out of gas like I had told them, they said it was most likely the fuel pump, a fairly pricey job. I had the car towed at my expense to a shop closer to home because I do not trust a business to FIX my vehicle when they just cause damage to it and can't even admit they had. As I had the vehicle towed to the other shop I noticed they had pretty much killed the battery as well. It is currently getting a diagnostic of what is wrong and I am hoping there is not more damage to my vehicle. I am very dissatisfied with this business. I trusted them to take care of my vehicle and they disappointed me and caused damaged to my vehicle. The two different tow truck drivers both said that the manager/owner of this place was not the best guy and that they tow a lot of vehicles out of this location to another. If you just need new tires or related services I'm sure they can manage that, but anything above that I would recommend taking it somewhere else. read more
