I had a flat on I-70 and suggested that they tow my car to the Big O since it was the closest place to the highway. The car was delayed, but they were very nice whenever I called to check on it. It wasn't brought in until after they closed, however. That was Thursday. I didn't think that I had a chance of getting my car on Friday because I knew that they wouldn't have the tire and that they would have to get it. I was looking into rental cars, but when I called I found out that one of the employees had gone to Denver to get the tire, and it was going to be ready on Friday. Update: The manager had me come back in the following week. He addressed my issues and reimbursed me for my trouble/time. If I could give this place a negative rating, I would. I have never encountered more lazy and inexperienced technicians in my entire driving career. I had just replaced inner & outer tie rods, rack & pinion boots, stabilization bar links, hubs, and rotors on my vehicle. Both sides and I did all the work myself. I brought it to this location for an alignment and 4 new tires. I get a call from the person at the front desk. He tells me that the driver's side tie rods are missing the pressure bolt. I was floored because I was positive I had put it together correctly, but still asked what it would cost to fix it since I needed my car the next day. He said he would call me back. When he called me back, he said that he didn't know if the bolt was there or not. The technician couldn't feel the bolt through the boot. He then told me that they would have to cut off the boot to adjust that side, and would be happy to charge me extra to replace it. I was very upset at this point because that was pure laziness and a ploy to drag more $$ out of my pocket. I explained to the gentleman on the phone EXACTLY what the tech needed to do so he didn't have to cut off the boot, and specifically told them to do what I asked instead of cutting off the boot. The gentleman on the phone either did not relay my message to the technician on purpose, or the technician cut off my boot anyway. They knowingly left my car vulnerable after I specifically asked them not to, and then tried to charge me extra to fix their mistake! I was furious when I went to pick up my car once learned they cut off the boot anyway. They even acknowledge the fact that having to replace the boot myself would mess up the brand new alignment that I just paid for, but they did not care. When I went to pick up my car, I noticed that the tire pressure sensor light was on. I was confused because I had just paid hundreds of dollars for brand new tires and they didn't even bother to reset my tire pressure sensors! I pulled up to the bay and politely asked the technician to please reset my sensors. He immediately started in with this huge song and dance about why he didn't want to. He told me the sensors were too old, they had never been replaced, they weren't reading properly, etc etc. I asked why I wasn't informed of this before I came to pick up the car? I explained to him the sensors were all replaced in November of 2019 and could be please just do as I asked. He kept it up. I finally had to get very short with him just to get him to do the job I paid for! He grabbed the machine, couldn't figure out how to work it, had another tech come over and walk him through it, then finally got the process done. All 4 sensores responded correctly and the dashboard light went off. Just another example of how lazy they are and how they are trying to rip people off. My advice? Go to Firestone down the street. read more

Recently made an appointment for an oil change. The digital sign behind the desk clearly stated is should be $105, associate refused and stated fee was now $60 more. When making the appointment I was told they could check a fuse, during check in he wanted to charge an additional $60 to check the fuse. I said not to bother and he then agreed to check for free. I went ahead with service and when I picked up my truck they said they had no luck with the fuse, BUT, there was a fuse on the floor board and the access was left open. I will not be back! read more

My partner and I both had our cars in for oil change and tire rotation this week. Their tire rotation is free, which is a nice perk. However, a number of their services seemed sub-par in our opinion. (1) Although they rotated our tires, they did not adjust the tire air pressure to spec (they were 35/33 F/R when we brought them in, and 33/35 F/R when we picked them up). (2) while driving home I noticed a distinct smell of oil coming from the vents, when I got home I popped the hood and noticed oil on and around the oil filter, pooled up in a tray under the filter, and smoking on the engine below it. (This car is 5 months old and is not leaking at the seals). (3) while looking under the hood I noticed that the window washer fluid level was down, and I added 1/2 gal. I went back to the shop and they promptly cleaned up the oil spill, and adjusted the tire air pressure, but there were no apologies, and it seemed to us like they didn't really care. (4) On picking up the second car we noticed $15 rebate coupons for oil change on the table, and asked if they were applicable to the service we just had done. They said yes but, they didn't offer to mention it to us and, we were just lucky to find it. Would have been nice if they had provided this option to us. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BIG O TIRES! I have conducted business with Big O Tires in Evergreen, CO for 15 years, even driving from Basalt, CO, 6 hours and 323 miles round trip, for service. Over the years I experienced increasing issue with staff turnover and repairs, especially since Russel Hammond purchased the business. Russel has always made good on the problems, but has become increasingly disrespectful and combative in addressing repair issues. Fortunately I mostly dealt with his great staff and mechanics. Yesterday, after purchasing an oil change and 4 new tires, my vehicle was delivered with mud on the driver's door thread hold and carpet (I have rubber floor mats) and a wet driver's inside door panel. It was a snowy day so this type of issue can happen, but was not cleaned up. Unfortunately, I had to address my concern with Russel and he went crazy stating that there was nothing he could or would do about the mess. After a long disrespectful discussion, as he became increasingly angry, to the point of shaking, at which time he told me never to return and do business some where else. Russell was always an arrogant, disrespectful person, but never PHYSCO! Please God, Bless and Protect the staff that must work for him. NEVER TRUST THIS BIG O FOR SERVICE! Russel, tell everyone about the vehicle you changed the oil on, drained the oil, installed a new filter and did not replace oil; causing the engine to seize and thousands of dollars in repair you refused to take responsibility for! read more

Chris the owner is very helpful. We had questions about snow tires for multiple vehicles. He took down the sizes and called back with more than a few options. Very professional over the phone and very willing to answer questions to get us what we needed. Day of the appointment employees were very polite. Unfortunately, about 45 min after our scheduled appointment they had to let us know that they just found our tires which had been there all day. The compensated us for the hastle ($$$), and we appreciated the honesty about the situation. We will be willing to give this place another shot in the future, just hoping next time it's not 2.5 hours to get snow tires put on. I still recommend this place over the conifer Big O. read more

Hit a pothole and bent my rim and wasn't sure if my tire was totaled either. Called BigO evergreen and spoke with James who helped me out, pulled up my account began searching if tires were in stock for a quick turn around. The tires were not in stock but he was able to get them within 24hrs. He took a picture of my wheel and sent it to another company to see if they could repair it, in the meantime he called the dealer and arranged for one just in case, the wheel was a goner. Almost laughably horrible was the woman at the counter looking blankly at her computer screen, slowly gnawing on her gum, and actively ignoring the customers in front of her. Went to get 4 tires. Received price over phone. I told them I won't be getting extra warranty because I was selling truck within a year. Was told at service desk there was no warranty at all on the tires and I should get their warranty. They said they were going to do a service check on the truck as a courtesy. Came back and wanted to charge me $130 dollars for a backup light. Bulb was $5. I had just put one in and it took me 2 minutes. Said I only have 3 months on my brake pads wanted to charge me over $1200 for brakes which was funny because I had replaced them last year and drove maybe 12k miles. They had a warranty anyway. They were my best buddies at first but after I said no to the $2800 in upgrades I didn't even get a thank you. Used car salesman the bunch of them. Management dont bother with a reply. read more

Had tires installed a month ago. Went back after a week when I noticed they were leaking. They sent me on my way with an appointment. When I drove the hour round trip back there I was told they fixed the tire. I went back today when I realized it was still leaking. The tech said they can't help me. Not sure why I ever went back. About two years ago they installed tires on another vehicle. And averaged cross threading three out of five bolts on every single wheel. Worst service I've ever seen. But now they won't make it right. Do yourself a favor and find a tire shop who cares about their customers. read more

There are a few times in your life that a vehicle repair is a wonderful experience and this was one! We were driving up 70 from Denver and we could hear the bearing in the truck going. My husband and me with our two children pulled in expecting to pay ridiculous prices and possibly stay over night. They did get me in fast and out for five new tires however, when looking at the invoice at home without my consent charged me $99.00 for nitrogen, btw the air we breath is 78% nitrogen.
