Didn't want to waste my time arguing, so I just went down the street to Big o tires. Upon arrival, Jason greeted me and got me pricing within a minute. Spoke to Mike yesterday to take advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free offer. First he says all I need to do is just buy tires. This was supposed to be for my sister and I had told him how another tire shop company had given her a bad experience and since I've been dealing with this location for a while now maybe they could help win her trust. Oh boy.. was I wrong. This guy from the beginning was very insistent in making sure I bought every add on they had or I wouldn't be guaranteed the tire promotion. No where on the promo fine print does it say "extra protection plan and alignment service required", literally just says "with installation purchase" which means mount and balance, stem valve service, taxes and shop supplies. Not my first time buying tires dude. I know an upsell when I see it. Called a second shop, same company. He was also insistent but only for the extra protection. I declined to have service there also. Called a third shop, and he confirmed nothing but tires was needed to take advantage of the promotion. Just had to pay for the install and that was it. Ding ding ding. Knew what I wanted and didn't act scummy to make his monthly quota. Mike, not only did you lose a sale yesterday. But you lost 2 repeat customers. Im a 20 year old woman and I came in just for an oil change, they gave me a whole huge list of things that needed to be fixed on my car, totaling up to $1,300. I was going on a long road trip across the county and my mom made the mistake of telling them this over the phone. They definitely used that info to scare me into fixing things on my car that didn't need to be fixed, saying youll definitely want to get this done if you're car is driving that far and that it would be unsafe not to. I wanted a second opinion so I went to a different locally owned business to get a free vehicle inspection the next day and they said my car was perfectly fine. After doing some online tire searches I decided to call a couple of places to see if they had the specific tires I wanted for my car. Had an issue with the original OEM tires on my truck that was causing a vibration at highway speeds. The guys did a free inspection and quickly diagnosed the original tires were cupped and causing the vibration. I went in to see if my flat tire that had a bolt can be fixed, then they came back to tell me no that I needed a brand new tire and that the rest of my tires looked bad and they wont last long and I needed to replace all of them. I had just taken my car to the dealer for an oil change and I have the report of that visit that clearly stated my tires were good . I informed the shop that my car dealer said they r still good, and then they proceeded to tell me I should have them check again and then the person helping me gives me a brochure that has their tire prices and said here are our prices and we will give you a discount. Clearly they meant business only and not to assist with the issue at that moment. Two days later I took my car to another tire shop, they were able to help me and they looked at the rest of my tires and they said that they were still in good conditions. I was in a bind and these guys really came through for me. Just before leaving for five hours of towing a heavy camping trailer, I pumped up the tires on my tow vehicle and discovered air leaking from a valve stem when I touched it. I called and Mike (the Mgr) said to bring it in. It looked busy, still they started right away and replaced the valve stem in no time. Awesome! Better yet, when I asked to pay, Mike said "no charge, have a great trip." Nice people and great service! What more can I say? Took our car in to have it aligned after my husband hit a curb. The quote came back at 1800$ because they said he had bent the tie rods in the front, the shock on one side was leaking and they'd have to replace both sides because you can't just do one side. My husband went for a second opinion at Firestone in Orange and was told there was no damage to the front end at all and all that was required was a simple alignment to one of the back wheels. That repair cost 110$! I've never written a bad review before, but I had to for this. How they have 4 stars is beyond me, and thank goodness we didn't have Big O do the repairs! I posted one star but they don't even deserve that. read more

I went to get my tire fixed at the Orange location because it is close to where I work and they have helped me before. The front passenger tire had a bubble (no I did not hit anything). Fernando insisted and blamed me that I had to have hit something in order for the bubble to appear. I just purchased the tires from big o tires at the Anaheim location in December with tire warranty. I went in on Sunday 8/18 to make sure I am safe to drive and get it replaced for my safety. Fernando told me that I would need to go back to the original store I purchased the tires and he could NOT help me, which is terrible customer service. Instead of taking care of the customer and the safety of the customer, he denied my business. He claimed that big O tires are different even though they have the same name. I will never go back to the orange location or refer any customers/family/friends from going there. Absolutely TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Fernando was very quick to get rid of me and my dad with zero help. I confirmed with another big o tires location that he should of helped me and took care of me and my safety. They said I can go to any big o tires because it's ALL THE SAME!! SMH.... TERRIBLE. read more
