Had a great experience here! 4 stars only for the amount of time i waited when I was told it wouldn't take too long but it's no big deal. I came in after I got off early on a Saturday and asked if I could come in in like an hour for some new tires. Fast service and good customer care inside. Got a great price on tires with road hazard warranty. I believe John the asst manager was the one who took care of me and I really liked the guys there. I took my 2007 Ford F-150 into Big O Tires at 1669 N Wilmot back in March of this year for new tires, they informed me back then that all 4 rotors and pads needed replacing, I went ahead and had that done, along with every other thing they could think of that might of needed repair ie, new air filter, 4 wheel alignment, oil and filter change etc... 3 months later I noticed that the new rotors were warping, this got progressively worse, so I took it back to Big O last Saturday, 08/21/2021. I was told that the parts they installed in March were defective and would need to be replaced, and that they are under warranty but that I would need to pay labor, 2 hours at $129.00 per hour. I told them to do the work because I didn't want to pay someone else for new parts at another repair shop. I asked them to also go ahead and change the oil and filter since it was due, and to do a 4 tire rotation. When all was complete, while paying again for the install of 4 new rotors and pads on the same truck in four months, the service manager, Eddie Moncado was saying how angry he was at his part supplier for sending crappy parts, and I heard him on the phone with them saying he was returning the rotors and pads for a refund. So when he said how he felt about the poor service from them , I said I don't know what you're complaining about, I'm the only one out over $200 bucks paying for you guys to swap out crappy parts you sold me in the first place. And to top it off, it says on my invoice that they did a 4 tire rotation that I requested they do, they didn't do it, tires are as they were when I dropped it off. Incompetent time wasters. Allowed walk ins to take my scheduled appointment (I was there early) and then took even more walk ins who arrived after me. Obnoxious, especially after the bait and switch coupon "didn't apply" and charges ballooned to 500% of the advertised cost Edit: I did read the fine print quite carefully, and your practice is the very DEFINITION of bait and switch...regardless of whether or not the law allows it, it is still bait and switch. You advertise with ONE price to garner business (BAIT) and then claim - oh, lo and behold, it's actually ANOTHER price for YOU, in fact 500% of the advertised price (SWITCH). You can flatter me with your thinly veiled suggestion that I am incompetent, but I assure you, such flattery won't win back my business. You might make the cut for the upcoming Yelp *All Star* How Not To Manage Management Team, but my business is long gone. Sorry. To review the review: The worst decision I made that day: Not checking Yelp before bringing my car in for an appointment. The best decision I made that day: Taking off before any Big O hacks could lay hands on my Toyota Sienna. And the best value I got that day: Buying my oil at Autozone and changing the oil myself. In half the time that Big O wasted, and for half the price, the job was done. Not everyone can do that to be sure, but nobody has to choose Big O. There are many other options. Read the Yelp reviews and the responses from management, and then decide for yourself if you want to take the risk here, or if you want those attitudes to be the ones you deal with across the desk when something inevitably goes wrong. I called big o to see if they carried my odd size as I drove by one morning. As they were the only place I had not checked. Not only did they carry the size I need, they fixed my tire for me with no appointment and quickly! I am very pleased with them! I will be replacing my tires soon and I know where I will be getting them from!! The guys were nicer do funny and they had free coffee.. So they are awesome! read more

IMPORTANT: this location does not honor the oil change YELP promotion I went to the store this inquiring about the price of a new tire and noticed that there was a Yelp check-in promotion,for a $10 oil change. When I asked about it, they were unaware of this promotion and said they would not honor it when I pulled it up on my phone. I pointed out that this was false advertising, and the sales person simply said that he would get in trouble with his boss for honoring the promotion and that sometimes yelp adds promotions to their page without their consent. Overall, he was polite and courteous, but I still felt this interaction was highly unprofessional. I decided to take my business elsewhere for this reason and would recommend that anyone interested in going here call ahead of time to clarify the details of the service they are looking for, as their online advertising is not reliable. read more

Slow AF Been sitting here for 2.5+ hours, while guys are just standing around talking out there. If you need an oil change/AC recharge plan on spending a whole day here. Btw, the guy said it would take just over an hour. I got their response. And it's true there turned out to be additional issues. (I posted that review while I was sitting there waiting). But they NEVER came over to give me updates until the very end. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I came into big o tires to get some off-roading tires for my 2002 ranger. I was promised a free alignment with the purchase of four tires. After waiting for an hour and a half and being the only person in the waiting room, I received a bill of $968 that reflected the four tires and an ALIGNMENT. I read this later that week and when I returned to confront the service representative they said that they couldn't do anything about it, because that wasn't a special anymore. Fast-forward to two weeks later, I drop something underneath my truck and kneel down to pick it up, but notice that my untouched spare was now a used piece of crap. Big O not only over charged me, but stole from me. If you value your car and wallet, please go to R & G tire on grant. If I could give 0 stars I would. I live in Phoenix Arizona, and came down to Tucson for a family emergency. With a sick family member in the hospital I needed a dependable tire service to get 2 new tires. I called Big O and talked with Evan. I thought Evan was getting me set up with a buy two tires get two tires package and explained to me 2 quotes a "high end" quote and a "low end" quote. The high end quote at the top of the line tires. The low end quote had low tier tires and included with both is a free alignment. I agreed to and purchase what I thought was the Lower end package. Evan lied. Instead, I was charged for the alignment that was supposed to be included. And my car drives worse than when I brought it in. I was told I would get a callback from Dave which I had to call and see what the status was. The service is horrible and not what I was told I was paying for. I hope Evan gets training regarding your services and options to provide your customers that will not result in wasted time and money. read more

June 2017 - I WAS a customer since 2012, but this store will not ever receive one cent from me again. At the time of my last purchase of a set of tires, I have had the experience with this store of coming to my vehicle about a week afterwards to find one of my hubcaps was missing. The store replaced the my hubcaps, though I had to make the purchase at Wal-Mart and the store refunded me the expense and mounted them for me. Since then I noticed my tire was low and I went there to get all my tires checked/inflated to proper pressure, and they rotated my tires too. I come to my car about a week or so later, and a hubcap is again missing. This time the store said they needed one of the other hubcaps to match the replacements and I was to wait for their call on Monday. On Tuesday I called to hear the female tell me lies. She first said the missing hubcap was broken and the hubcap they took off my car was also broken; it was not broken when I bought them and was reimbursed; the store put the replaced hubcaps on the vehicle, so they had to be the ones responsible for any broke hubcap. Instead of backing up the lack of quality of workmanship, I get lies and excuses. Hope they are satisfied. I will buy new hubcaps ($22) and when I shop for more tires I will tell every tire dealer I talk to about the lousy store which will not stand behind the quality of their work. I will also be telling other Big O stores about these ass-clowns who lie through their teeth. read more

Sloppy work. Part of an oil change is rinsing out any mess caused by the old drained oil. This was not accomplished here. Old oil continued to drip on to my garage floor for days after the service. Owner responded quickly and set up a free car wash. This was refreshing to see. read more

I was shopping around for a new set of tires in the Tucson area and this branch of Big O Tires was the first business I stopped at. They tried to sell me 4 new tires and an alignment for just over $500. When I told them I wanted to shop around for a while before I committed to buying tires from them they tried to bully me into purchasing tires on the spot. After less than thirty minutes of comparing prices at neighboring businesses I was able to get a much better deal on the same tires for less than $400. Don't let these guys fool you they way over charge for terrible service. I wish I could give them negative stars. Just terrible. read more

I just have to say this was the Best experience ever at a Tire Store. They were Nascar pit crew fast. The manager had two-three guys working to replace all four of my tires and an oil change and it was done in 30 min. The sales guy was very helpful and not pushy at all. Fantastic service. Went in to see if my flat tire could be repaired, and also brought in my boyfriend's flat, which another tire shop said couldn't be repaired. Unfortunately, my tire was a goner (they showed me the damage, unlike Discount), but they DID manage to fix my boyfriend's crazy expensive (and brand new) tire that had a nasty puncture. (Both got a flat in the same week- lucky!) They didn't try to upsell me on anything, and they were FAST. They even offered to do some organizing in the back of my station wagon so they could put my spare back under the carpet, which was so above and beyond the call of duty- I declined their kind offer, because my car mess is so not their job/problem. I had two rear tires mounted and and when I went to check the lug nuts I noticed that they had completely destroyed on of my lug nut covers. When I mentioned it the manager, David Hemmo, he at first tried to deny any responsibility. After a brief debate, he assured me that he would rectify the mistake and make sure to call me when he obtained a matching replacement lug nut cover. I waited for a week with no response so I went to the store to ask him about it. Mr. Hemmo assured me that he'd find a replacement soon and would call me when he did. That was over two months ago and still nothing. If you examine Hemmo and his employees they're quite unsavory people for the most part. I wouldn't advise my ex-wife to get her tires mounted there. I would advise everyone to avoid this den of malfeasance as well. read more

Their tire "sale" turned out to be a scam. When I went to pick up my car I noticed the service plan on the bill. I informed the guy I didn't want the service plan and his response was I had to get the service plan as part of the tires being on "sale." I told him thats not a sale it's a scam. We went back and forth and he ended up crediting me a little on the bill, but not the full amount of the service plan. While driving home on the interstate I noticed the car riding very rough. Took it to the local Big O (I am not local to Tucson) and they informed me the tires were out of balance. Now how can brand new tires be out of balance unless they weren't balanced in the first place??? Two weeks after installation the wife tells me the car is pulling to one side (they were also supposed to do a 4 wheel alignment, which I paid for.) I guess I will be bringing it back to Big O again for the second time in less than a month so they can fix their screw ups. This has been my worst tire buying experience by far. read more

Today I brought 3 cars in. One that needed a tire patched and Julian did a great job doing so. One that needed two tires and Ray was able to do so very quickly. But on my last car I needed a converted r12 system charged I did all the leg work in converting it and just needed it evaluated and charged. After finding out that I forgot a fitting at home. I went home to grab it I got back to find out that they no longer were willing to charge it because it was a converted system which was fine. But, what wasn't fine was the way the shop Forman talked to me after I returned. He was very rude and talked down to me like I was stupid. Because of this I will never be returning to big o's. And will not be recommending anyone to use big o's in the future. read more

Evan, the manager, Evan, the manager, not only demonstrated horrible customer service but mocked my mother and continued to laugh and her as she expressed her frustration of feeling ripped off. She was told that the warranty on her tires would cover a flat but when They were taken in today, mind you they are only three months old, she was told that the warranty wouldn't cover it. I am not sure what the requirements are for someone to be a manager at Big O Tires but it is definitely apparent that Evan is a good fit! I would stress to the owner, for him to take a second look at this particular employee because I would never want this type of person to represent my business in the way that he has represented Big O' Tires. Thankfully we called the Big O on Valencia and they rectified the matter immediately. They explained that is was indeed covered and got it squared away. I'm going on a 500 mile road trip in the next few weeks and needed to make sure my spare, which has a slow leak got repaired or replaced. I drove in, no appointment, and my spare was taken into the garage bay. What seemed like maybe 10 minutes later the manager came out and said, "you're ready to go." I reached for my wallet and he said, "It's one of our tires," so there was no charge. This team helped me accomplish one of my chores for a day off in less than the time it takes to watch a 30 minutes television show.
