Allright! This place has changed many type of restaurant like you change underware everyday in sick short time! So, since it has been busy with a full parking lot Daily, me and my family decided to give this one a try. Well! We know now why it is busy all the time. It is because even though they greet you and smile when you come in, ones you' re seated you have to wait a minimum of 20 minutes juts to see someone to wait on you and taking orders. Then after you give your drink order you'll wait another 20 to get it. Then, again, another 20 to order your food. Meantime, while you wait another 20 minutes to get your food, your drinks are already empty and you struggle to get the attention of someone to get refills. Oh! Did I mention that they seated us, 8 people, on a table that seat only 6 and it's already tight for those 6 alone! Finally, after all that wait, we received just one of the kids meal and it wasn't even complete! Then one of the owners came to us apologizing about the wait, saying that she was not expecting all those people in such a short time opened, about three weeks ago. But she also said that her mom had a restaurant for many years and she was helping. That alone should tell you, been familiar with the business, that she should have been ready to handle any kind of situation and she failed BIG TIME! Although she did send us some biscuits.Those were really plump warm and fresh looking, so I give them a point for that. Finally, after another 20 minutes we received our food. One of us ordered the stuffed French toast, which they didn't have anything about stuffed, they were just regular French toast with strawberry and cream cheese on top, really dry and it took just one bite to realized it was tasteless and it was left without being eaten. Someone else ordered the veggie's omelette and not even one bite and it tasted really bad that it was left too. Orange juice cost $1.95 without refill and it wasn't even an 8 .oz and was watery! Even the pancakes, a simple dish, were really dry! One dish was rated fair because it deserved it, and it was the eggs Benedict, In the end even though we sent back the stuffed fresh toast and the veggie's omelette they still charged us for half of one of them. Truthfully, I will not go back again, at list for quite a while, maybe, I will give it a try and another chance to redeem them-self again, but it will not happen, for a very very long time. read more

not consistent . talked to the owner one day while we were having lunch and commented how good the salad was which was cold and so was the bowl. The grilled shrimp were perfect and tasty. Went back the next week and the salad was warm served in a warm bowl and the shrimp were cooked for 20 minutes and were worse than rubber bands. I told the server and she said she could have fixed it. I guess she stands in the freezer with my salad in her clutches til she freezes or my salad get cool. Our favorite go to restaurant. Love their chopped steak with blue cheese, greens and baked potatoe. This place never dissapoints!

Superb breakfast, excellent service, very clean and orderly. Food was hot right off the grill. Had breakfast however took time to glance at lunch and dinner menu. Definitely will return with the wife. Note biscuits and gravy are excellent, grits are creamy, eggs cooked perfect as ordered, and coffee is good. Good value too. Have to revise my review, went back for dinner with 9 others folks from our campground. Food was excellent, everything was delicious cooked to perfection and at a reasonable price. Service was pleasant and prompt. I found the soap dispenser right next to the sink. This place is right at the top of our places for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Well the hash browns were raw, eggs were good. Sausage tasted like spam and not sausage. Bacon was good. Sausage gravy was bland no flavor. They season nothing. Will not be going back. When I got my slice of ham it was petrified. Not good at all. read more

Good food(average to generous portions), service (Shout out to Danika) and prices . . . as much as I hate to say it because my wallet loves it - I think they may be a wee bit under priced! Be prepared for a wait OR head their direction in off hours. Now take into consideration they have only been open one month - which makes it a place for the community to check out. We went on a holiday weekend AND we went at noon - typically busy time. All that taken into account we were told 20-25 min and we decided to wait - we were seated in about 15 min, our order was taken immediately by a very helpful server. Soup and salad was delivered promptly followed by our entree about the time we finished the first course. We were in and out in less than an hour which I think was a very good turn around. I didn't try the special fries because I couldn't decide on "only one". I'd KILL for a "fry sampler platter". Sans that I'll have to grab a couple friends and have each of us order two and share so we can taste them all! What kind you ask? Just had dinner at Big Tom's Diner. Food was great and plenty of it. Prices were quite reasonable. Didn't get service for a bit but asked another server from a different section and she was extremely helpful. Burgers were awesome. Our group also had the catfish and a Cuban sandwich. Also had the fried pickles...very good. You also get lots of fries. The menu is huge. Very good restaurant for only being open for 2 months. By the way, it's not chain restaurant. Love this place! Food is terrific and reasonably priced. Staff personnel are personable and very friendly. Oh, I can't forget to mention the cinnamon apples and the cinnamon bun pancake. First.....let's start with the biscuits. BIG ol' biscuits. Flaky and large and made right here. Now that that's said what are you going to eat with it. I had the Country Benedict . A large aforementioned biscuit with 2 big ol' sausage patties with eggs cooked just right. Just wonderful. The biscuit held up and while still flakey, did not get mushy. Our family goes here often for breakfast and lunch. The service is outstanding! The food is inexpensive. The restaurant is clean. The food options are as plentiful as you can imagine (huge menu). The food is absolutely delicious! At busier times, the wait can be up to half an hour or so for large parties, but they have such ample space, tables, and servers that wait times are rarely excessive. The service and the food are worth the wait! My personal favorites here are the fried chicken and the waffles, but everything I've eaten here is great! read more

My husband, children and I stopped for breakfast this morning. Everything was fine until I asked a passing waitress for some more silverware. The waitress did not even acknowledge me, just gave me a very rude look. She did bring me silverware, however, the way she handled it was very offputting. Moments later, our waitress came to see if we would like more coffee, we both said yes. She went and came back and only poured my husband a cup. At this point is when I decided to up and leave. I'm sorry but after being in the food service industry myself for almost 7 years, I have never experienced such a thing. Very disheartening world we are living in when people are just so negative word of advice, don't work with the public if you are not able to be a decent human being. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to find a "local" place. Big Tom's didn't disappoint. We were seated quickly. There was a ton of wait staff. I ordered the Greek burger. Came with fries and coleslaw for $6.49. The burger was a half pound of meat. My husband ordered the regular cheeseburger. Same amount of meat and same price. Huge portions of good food. My boyfriend and I got 2 orders of bisquits and gravy, smothered fries, chicken fajita omlete, bacon cheese burger with onion rings all for $27!!! All amazing and great size!!! It was so good I took my parents back the next day for breakfast!!! 4 people with full meals under $50!!! Unfortunately, none of this matters, if eating here costs us our lives. It's like the owners are ignorant, or just don't care to know anything about how Covid-19 is transmitted. Speech itself produces droplets, each of which can carry thousands of virions. Unlike other viruses, this one is communicable a week before the fever, so by the time a waitress or cook has been sent home with a fever, they have infected untold diners, who will infect their loved ones, and who may die. Ate at this diner today (Sunday) for the first time. I have bypassed it before because of the line out the door, but today I ignored the line. Good thing. Even with the long line the wait was only about 12 minutes. The menu has everything you could want. We ate breakfast and absolutely everything was perfect. Eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, French toast, and biscuits and gravy. The restaurant was clean and the staff was really friendly. Prices are very reasonable.
