    **Avoid this dealership** We purchased a 2020 Traverse and were sold "EPC The Protector" with its "Diamond Ceramic Coating" for cost of $995. I NEVER purchase these packages because they are mostly snake oil. However the salesmen convinced me it was well worth it and was selling it to me at "cost". The ONLY reason I agree was because it was a "ceramic" coating which would be applied to the entire exterior including the glass and light lenses. It was not that. This is what I got for $995. *A crappy car wash *Zero additional slickness or sheen to the exterior. *no powder residue anywhere ( even the most diligent detailers will leave a little somewhere). An actually ceramic coating doesn't powder but it's clear it wasn't that. *There was a chemical smell in the interior so they did something in there. *A "Protector" sticker on the window and a little paper that said my warranty information would be coming in the mail in 6 weeks. *dirty windows like my 8yo did them. That was $995. Ask three different people at the dealership what the package "A" includes and you will get 3 different answers including the service writer. I have addressed this with the salesmen and the sales manager. They want to "reapply" it even though they insist it was already applied. Neither EPC not Bigger's Chevrolet will have the opportunity to touch this car again as I do not trust them. Btw, I never ever do reviews.

He contacted Cruz to answer my questions (which happens to be his Dad). BOTH David and Cruz made buying my car an easy process. I didn't feel pressured to buy and they gave me some time to speak with my best friend who was with me. When they returned I told them I was ready to purchase a vehicle, they didn't try to upsell me with a million things. They told me about a couple of add ons and I chose to add them but, again, I never felt pressured. As I said previously, David was a fantastic salesman and Cruz was just as fantastic! If you are looking for a new or "new to you" car, I highly recommend going to Elgin CDJR and ask for David!!

    One of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had…read more I found a vehicle through CarGurus and received confirmation from the dealership that the advertised offer was valid and that I could come in for a test drive. When I arrived, I was told the CarGurus price was no longer valid and that the vehicle would cost approximately $2,000 more. Despite this, I test drove the vehicle they showed me, completed the financing at the higher price, and was told to return the next day after the detailing was finished to pick it up. Three days went by without any updates, and my salesperson was avoiding my calls. Eventually, I was told that the vehicle I had test driven was actually a different Jeep (a 2023 model), while the paperwork I had signed was for a 2011 Jeep. In other words, I had financed a completely different vehicle than the one I was shown. I had never even inspected the 2011 vehicle or had the opportunity to have it checked by an independent mechanic before signing. I was then informed that the 2011 Jeep had a clutch problem that needed to be repaired. I was asked to wait another week. Once again, no one answered my calls or provided any updates. When I finally went to the dealership in person, I discovered that the repairs hadn't even been started. Over the following week, I was given one excuse after another: the technician was out because of a family emergency, the repair needed approval, the parts hadn't been approved yet, and then the parts were delayed in shipping. More than three weeks after completing the purchase, I finally received the vehicle. Throughout this entire process, communication was poor, promises were repeatedly broken, and I felt misled from start to finish. Based on my experience, the sales process was disorganized and highly unprofessional. My interactions with the salesperson, Ali, and his manager, Adam, only added to the frustration, as getting straightforward answers or timely updates was extremely difficult. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this dealership to do their homework, carefully verify every detail of the vehicle and paperwork before signing, and have any used vehicle independently inspected. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership.

Just a bunch of amateurs running a shit place in which engines and transmissions are laying around in mud, cars are on top of each other, doors are piled up full of scratches. Not to mention coming from far and they telling you that parts are available and in good condition and when you there they say to you that they are not available. Upon I insisted to double check they said they have the car with the parts I needed and to go and check the condition before I make a decision. Well decision was pretty easy: they were super damaged and not in the condition I was told they are Please avoid at any cost that place. Will save your time, money and stress.

Contacted Global Auto and staff gave me the run around. I ask to speak to Joe, and he denied the issues with the engines. I observed that he has the engines in the open not protected from the elements. I elected to purchase the engine else ware and requested my money back. Joe said no money back just credit. Joe is a Lier and a cheat and should not be trusted. He is selling damaged parts to the public and then does not honor his own policies of giving a refund. I will be contacting the attorney general about his business practices. He is a thief.

    I had such an GREAT experience at the Pep Boys that I felt I needed to share…read more I originally took my Honda Civic to the dealership because my air conditioning wasn't working. The dealership told me the issue was not the compressor seal (which is under warranty), but instead a completely different component that would cost me around $4,000 to repair. Wanting a second opinion, I brought my car here--and I am so glad I did. Ray, the manager, and his team spent over two hours thoroughly checking my car. They were incredibly professional, kind, and patient, and they even honored a coupon I brought in! Most importantly, they told me the truth: it WAS the compressor seal. Because of their honesty, I'm now able to take my car back to the dealership and have the repair covered under warranty--saving thousands of dollars. It's rare to find a shop you can truly trust, but this is one of them. Ray runs a place that clearly values integrity over quick profit, and that says everything. If you want an honest mechanic who takes the time to do things right, go here--and ask for Ray. I will absolutely be bringing my car back for any future needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could! After several attempts to contact Leah, I have heard NOTHING from her or the alleged Customer Relations Team nor the Field Leadership Team. This lack of response from Leah only reinforces the Pep Boys attitude of ignore customers complaints and treat customers rudely. I have contacted Leah as I said, and after several attempts to determine what, if anything, Pep Boys would do. As of 12-23-25, I can tell you they ignored me. I have never received any more communication from Leah. As a member of the Customer Relations Team, I can document no responses and can only assume the rude behavior I experienced at the store is the model that Pep Boys desires of their employees. Pep Boys leads by their dismal example. No wonder their employees don't care. Management doesn't care.
