I've been dealing with Joe Velasquez for numerous years and he has never disappointed me and yesterday was no exception. I have always wanted a Chevy Camaro and Joe Velasquez made me a happy customer once more, I am now a proud owner of a 2017 RS Turbo charged 50 year Anniversary Camero. He was even able to surprise me with the price! If you looking for a new Chevy go see my main 05/19/2020 update: Joe V & Diego made it happen again, traded in for this beauty 2020 3.6L / V6 RS 1LE High performance package and I couldn't be happier.

Water spots where the someone didn't dry properly.. not evidence of any coating.

**Avoid this dealership** We purchased a 2020 Traverse and were sold "EPC The Protector" with its "Diamond Ceramic Coating" for cost of $995. I NEVER purchase these packages because they are mostly snake oil. However the salesmen convinced me it was well worth it and was selling it to me at "cost". The ONLY reason I agree was because it was a "ceramic" coating which would be applied to the entire exterior including the glass and light lenses. It was not that. This is what I got for $995. *A crappy car wash *Zero additional slickness or sheen to the exterior. *no powder residue anywhere ( even the most diligent detailers will leave a little somewhere). An actually ceramic coating doesn't powder but it's clear it wasn't that. *There was a chemical smell in the interior so they did something in there. *A "Protector" sticker on the window and a little paper that said my warranty information would be coming in the mail in 6 weeks. *dirty windows like my 8yo did them. That was $995. Ask three different people at the dealership what the package "A" includes and you will get 3 different answers including the service writer. I have addressed this with the salesmen and the sales manager. They want to "reapply" it even though they insist it was already applied. Neither EPC not Bigger's Chevrolet will have the opportunity to touch this car again as I do not trust them. Btw, I never ever do reviews.

The salesperson was completely disengaged, offered no guidance, and had zero personality or sense of urgency. It honestly felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. Even more concerning, no one from management ever stepped in, acknowledged us, or attempted to assist at any point. Also worth mentioning, the vehicle we test drove hadn't even been properly detailed. The interior was disgustingly dirty, to the point it was embarrassing. If it hadn't been cleaned yet, that should have been communicated upfront instead of presenting it that way. It really summed up the entire experience. The highlight (if you can call it that) was a $2,000 trade-in offer on a well-running vehicle with a brand new engine. When we questioned it, we were casually told we'd be better off selling it ourselves. No explanation, no attempt to earn our business, and no manager stepped in to address it. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this place operates. We didn't come in expecting anything unrealistic, just a fair conversation and basic professionalism. Instead, we got dismissive attitudes, low effort, and an offer that was frankly insulting. We left, and not because we couldn't make a deal but because there was clearly no one there interested in making one. Plenty of dealerships out there that actually want your business. This is not one of them. The experience matched the offer... low effort and even lower value.

I told him why I was there and he got the car ready. While I was test driving the car there were a couple of questions I had. He told me that he wasn't sure of the answer but didn't want to give me wrong information so he'd check when we got back. I truly appreciated the honesty. He contacted Cruz to answer my questions (which happens to be his Dad). BOTH David and Cruz made buying my car an easy process. I didn't feel pressured to buy and they gave me some time to speak with my best friend who was with me. When they returned I told them I was ready to purchase a vehicle, they didn't try to upsell me with a million things. They told me about a couple of add ons and I chose to add them but, again, I never felt pressured. As I said previously, David was a fantastic salesman and Cruz was just as fantastic! If you are looking for a new or "new to you" car, I highly recommend going to Elgin CDJR and ask for David!!

I should have done more research on warranties ....a very expensive lesson learned!…read more When I bought my 2018 Jeep Wrangler in October 2023, I made it clear to the finance department that corrosion protection, bumper-to-bumper coverage, and gap insurance were my top priorities. I asked multiple times about being covered for corrosion, and I was assured that the Luxe Care XT Protection Plan would cover it. A year later, I noticed corrosion forming on my Jeep. After reviewing my paperwork and calling to verify, I learned that corrosion is not covered under this plan or any extended warranty, and my factory warranty had already expired. This directly contradicted what I was told at the time of purchase. Now I am facing thousands of dollars in potential repairs for something I believed I was protected against. This dealership's finance department, misrepresented a warranty coverage to make a sale... if I knew the truth, I would have purchased a new Jeep instead. While these complaints may not go anywhere, I wanted to warn other first-time buyers like myself: Do your research, Review the full warranty coverage, and be cautious with how this dealership presents its protection plans.... especially the so-called "corrosion warranty" under the Luxe Care XT Protection Plan.

We are currently filing a consumer complaint with Illinois Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Just because a car is sold as is does NOT eliminate the dealership's legal obligation to disclose known or reasonably discoverable defects at the time of sale. This dealership knew it had a bad transmission. Of course they will pretend like they didnt. SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
