When I got home, fresh paint chips were missing from the passenger door above the Inscription trim -- damage that was not on those check-in photos. I emailed photos the same day. Zack Hedrick, the service advisor, was all smiles and helpful while I was paying that bill. The second I raised the paint damage, the act dropped. Days of slow responses, then a hard no. He said he reviewed it with management and they would not cover the paint repair, hiding behind a "complimentary car wash" policy that somehow makes it my problem when their shop returns a car with paint torn off it. Jeff Leathers, Service Director, was on that email thread and the dealership still refused any compensation -- no repair, no goodwill, nothing. I go there for service. Most of the service advisors don't seem to care and often have a rude attitude because they already have plenty of business. They don't take the time to explain things. Unfortunately, there aren't many alternatives in Reno. BMW doesn't seem to care either. Even so, I still go there, although I don't like doing it. If I could give zero stars I would to be honest. Brought my car, bmw x3 plug-in hybrid, in because of a diag message. Turned out that they claim the battery and "accessory battery" were both dead. They said the parts would take 2 days to get. We made an appt for 4 days out. Dropped off the car and took the loaner car home (hour drive each way) got a call 4 hours later saying that they did not actually have the battery. While driving back to pick up my unfixed car I got a call they they "found" the battery and could have it fixed in 40mins. Couple hours after this I showed up at the dealership since I could not reach them on the phone and turns out they still did not have both batteries. But they checked again and seems like they found the second one. I am now waiting another 40m to see what the next fuckup is going to be. read more

I made my appointment a couple of months ago and even reminded them that the last time I brought my car in, it took forever for the service to be completed. So this time, I scheduled my appointment early to ensure they'd have plenty of time to work on it. Unfortunately, that didn't help at all -- I dropped off my car at 9:30 AM, and it still wasn't ready until 5:30 PM. The staff member helping me was not very responsive to my text messages or updates. It's extremely disappointing that they don't seem to value customers' time. I would have appreciated it if they had just been honest -- told me they needed more time and offered me a ride home -- so I wouldn't have to waste my entire day waiting. If they're short on staff, they really shouldn't overbook appointments. Very poor service overall. I'm seriously considering switching to another brand after this experience. read more

I debated with myself whether I would write a review of my troubles with my used Touareg I bought from them, I was assured a 90 day 9000 mile warranty, which turned out to be a lie, I noticed coolant was disappearing, but never was found on the floor or anywhere else, I called the dealership to find out if this could be looked at & fixed & they basically were like nope, they said it was a mistake that I was told there was a warranty 90/9000 and the issue of saying this would be addressed with the employee, and I'm like ok, but that doesn't fix my problem, and the end results was, they wouldn't do anything & everything they told me was just to sell me the car, and that the repair cost me an additional $4000 to fix the leak issue, which was identified as a common issue on these turbo diesels, Yeah I should have done a PPI, but I wanted to have faith in dealerships again, but sadly they still do/say what they can to make the sale and nothing more, my reason for this particular car was I needed a tow vehicle that could tow over 7000lbs and still fit in my garage, it is not a common vehicle, if you want to trust a dealership, I would trust Dolan Lexus, I have bought cars from them before and they have always corrected any issues and have always been upfront, its too bad they didn't have the car I wanted, I also paid cash for the car and I know most dealerships make their money on the financing, oh well, I won't ever be doing business there again, either will my adult children and all of our family in Reno, I have made them all aware & now I hoping to prevent this from happening to anyone else in the community. read more

No stars. I bought a new $75,000 car and noticed a scratch on the hood. They said they'd make it right. Well, wrong. After THREE tries to paint the small scratch, and talking to different managers, they started making us feel like it was our fault. (We have photo proof it was there on the lot the day we purchased it.) But, apparently, managers don't talk to one another. We are a BMW family. I purchased my prior one there. In July of 2025, I ordered a fob for my BMW 535D. I was NOT told at the time that the sale was final and not returnable. When I found out that my old fob could be reactivated I no longer needed the new fob. I was then told that the new fob was unreturnable. I returned it anyway and disputed the charge on my credit card. The BMW parts dept. said I didn't return it and my dispute was denied. After the dispute was denied I went to the parts dept. and got the fob. So, they did have it after all. I noticed that after this incident signs were posted in the parts dept. and service area saying that the fobs were not returnable. As I said, I was not informed of this at the time I ordered the fob. Failed to reset the Brake fluid light. Did they actually change the fluid? Who knows. Also reprogrammed a key for $190 which didn't work. Refunded the money but tried to charge me until I called him on it. Again, I waited for over 6 hours to get a brake fluid flush and a new battery for $1000. My one star is richly deserved. Every time I have to go to this dealer, the service gets worse and the prices go up. I should switch to Mercedes. read more

I have submitted a few purchase experience reviews about this dealership (always spectacular purchase experiences) and this review is about my terrific service experience with Travis Tebbe. I had done an over the air sofware update on my 2025 X5 M60i and afterward there were some glitches, including loss of Android Auto connectivity. I had an appointment for 11:30 but I arrived at the store at 7:30. Travis took in my car and got right on it. Turned out that there were multiple software glitches and Travis had me speak with the technician to educate me on what went wrong. Much of it was over my head, but I was super impressed that Travis had me speak with the tech so that I could (hopefully) understand. Throughout the few hours that my car was in service Travis kept me informed of progress. He was busy with other customers, yet he kept me informed. First class service. All was covered by warranty. Purchased 2 BMW's over past few years . Tried to make a deal here and order a car . Both times pricing was very high and ended up getting cars at beteeen 3-4K less ( 100$+) month savings using 2 other dealers .given an option to match dealers price and buy local was told that "was as fair" as they wanted to be. Recently in for warranty service ... this service dept ( who is a 2 hour round trip away) make me an appt specifically to replace a simple part that diagnostic screen told me to replace . Appt made weeks in advance ... drove in was at dealer over 3 hours ....and they said they didn't have the part in stock anymore and to make another appointment to drive back and replace it . Your time and business is not important to this dealership . I ran a business with 380 employees.... This attitude at service comes from the top. There is presently anothet warranty issue error code since the car was under 1000 miles . They have been unable to fix it with multiple attempts. My Chevy tahoe is 100% more reliable and the dealership is suoer competent and efficient . No more BMW's for me. BMW USA must not care about customer service read more

This place sucks. I tried to buy a car Friday, but they offer zero customer service. Ended up having to go down to Roseville BMW and getting my car. I don't even want to take it here for service at this point. I'm not sure what the sales people here actually do since they don't negotiate a single dollar for you they don't help you find something. They just expect you to come by and be so dazzled by BMWs that you just open your wallet listen to their BS and buy their car. They tell me there's no room in these cars for any discounts. The profit is too thin. What a joke. Roseville had no problem giving me a good deal. This place didn't try to call me back. They didn't care about my business and the website is a joke. You can't filter anything you can just look at the cars basically and half of their data is wrong. Cars have features listed that they don't have and things they do have art listed. There's no way to filter correctly. You have to look at every single car and then go by the pictures and hope it all matches. The problem is Reno is basically a monopoly for them and they are banking on your laziness. You know somethings wrong when you show up and nobody helps you and you walk around for like 10 to 15 minutes trying to get someone to help sell you a car. Granted, I hate when the vultures pounce on you but this place basically says we don't care. We're the only BMW in town take it or leave it. First I'll start by saying that I have owned 3 BMWs and been to numerous BMW dealerships. Nine times out of Ten, I have had a great experience with each dealership, which is why I have continued to buy BMWs. This all changed once I moved to South Lake Tahoe and Bill Pierce BMW was the closest option (in Reno). First issue: My X5 needed an oil change so I took it to Bill Pierce BMW. Upon picking up the car, I noticed a chunk of paint missing on the bumper and the grip tape was partially missing as well. You could tell that they power washed the car to closely and blasted paint off. I reached out to inquire about this issue and they asked me to bring it in (my wife brought it in, and we live in 60 miles away). They looked at the issue and acknowledge that the paint had indeed been power washed off, but it only came off due to a "Compromised" paint job. So in essence, it was my fault, or the dealership that painted the bumper's fault, that they blew off the paint. They then refused to touch up the bumper and told me to reach out to BMW SLO who painted the car. This is crazy to me as Bill Peirce BMW could have just touched up the paint and we all could have been on our way. It's not like we are talking about a giant fix here. It should never be the client's responsibility to figure out which dealership within an organization is at fault. I went to BMW SLO and told them story, and they laughed, and went so they blew the paint off your car and they want us to pay for it? I agreed as it's pretty much common sense they wouldn't pay for another dealerships damage. Second Issue: I needed new brake pads, and they said they can only change them if they do the rotors. I understand why they say that, but it is far from necessary. I proceeded with the rotors and brake pads. 1 year later and a few thousand miles, my brake light came on again. They said I needed new rotors and brake pads again. Given that I had barely driven this car I opted not to get them changed. I then took the car into a local shop and they said the rotors and brakes were fine and that there was short causing the sensor to turn on. So Bill Pierce was essentially trying to get me to change perfectly find rotors and brakes. Extremely unethical. 3rd Issue: My car was rear ended from during a snow storm. Their insurance was paying for the new bumper. Bill Pierce put on the bumper and did not clip in the side so it is fully attached. They acknowledged they missed it, but wouldnt correct their mistake. Probably would have taken 30 minutes. So all in all, this dealership has ruined the paint on my car and refused to take ownership of their mistakes, and engages in unethical behavoir on the regular. BMW corporate has no power to make dealerships own up to their actions, so you have to be extra careful where you take it. I would highly advise going anywhere else besides this dealership. This is not only the worst BMW location I have ever dealt with, it is the worst location out of any mechanic shop I have been to. You risk having your car damaged, and getting stuck with the bill. Moral of the story don't risk it with Bill Pierce BMW. read more

I refused to pay extra money since they charge me already fortune. I contact the dealership on March-15th (Nadeem), he said contact me on Monday-18th, I give a status, meanwhile I went to CarMax to appraise my car, They told me to expedite your title only cost $20 and there is a form (VP 265) only charge you $20 not $100( you see this luxury car dealership are more greedy). On 18th Nadeem told me your tilt e is process and takes 3-7 days to get to you. I went to DMV Carson City on 19th, They told me with the print That dealership just gave them the tile on 19th and take another 1-2 months to get to me. See how decisive are these people. NEVER EVER TRUST THEM. Take care of your title yourself. I won't let this go easy. I was going to trade my car with different car and because of title delay I lost sweet deal. read more

I recently purchased a used BMW from Bill Pearce BMW. They thoroughly inspected it and put new Pirelli run flat tires on it. It was detailed and I took delivery of it on an as is sale basis. The next day I discovered that one of the headlight units had water in it. It was not in the list of things that needed fixing. They not only corrected the items we identified, they also replaced the headlight, which I had priced at over $1,200.00! All at no cost to me. They even paid for a Lyft ride because their shuttle was booked up. Everyone I have dealt with there has been great to work with and ethical in their dealings. That's hard to say about most dealerships. If you go, ask for Terril, she's the best! read more

Great place to buy a vehicle. Horrible place to get a service. Was given an estimate of 45min-1hr for an oil change. Just an oil change. I am now 3 hours in and have not received my car yet. They have great sales people but their service department is a complete wreak. One guy who came in before me set up a loaner car only to not be given one, and worse, strung along for over an hour before they admitted it. We had the same rep and he seemed equally uncaring to us both. The excuse of a flat tire on a loaner was fairly weak as well. I will see my service contract through since we have spent the money but will not be getting any service contracts here in the future. read more

Impressed with the service experience on my 2023 BMW M50i. Made an appt for a yearly service about three weeks in advance at the time and day I wanted. Requested a loaner car at the time I scheduled appointment. Arrived at my time slot and was seen immediately with no wait time. The service department gave me a brand new BMW IX to drive as the loaner with less than 2500 miles on it. Really nice all electric SUV. Service advisor Tierra was very responsive and professional. She followed up promptly on my email questions and texted me when car was ready (at promised time). Service posted a video from service tech going over what they did on the service and status of main components. I was treated as an important customer of Bill Pierce BMW. The service department is one of the most unreliable and incompetent service departments I've experienced. Enough to make you change car brands so just so you don't have to deal with that service department.. that is how bad this place is. I truly stand behind my opinion that the service department is run by people who are not fully educated in auto mechanics and are just really good at up selling. And when you don't participate in their upsell is when they get unprofessional. As consumers we don't have a lot of power or options when we feel mistreated by a business. Awful customer service. I went to test drive and look at a used car up for sale here. It was a great deal, I was treated very well in the store, and was indeed interested in making an offer on the car. After a week or so of thinking and figuring out finances, I reached out to the manager regarding a mechanical question. The manager, instead of responding with the answer to my question, responded by asking me personal questions about if I had talked to my family, accountant, etc. about financing the car. I felt this was very bizarre for the MANAGER to do. As if he was withholding information on the car to get personal information from me... very inappropriate. I politely sent an email to the dealership explaining what happened and that I was disappointed because I did want to purchase said car. They never responded to me and lost my sale. Do not shop here unless you like being treated like a joke, the staff was bizarre.. all checking out my trade in and talking secretly in the back (assuming about me because I was the only customer in at the time.) Roland is one of the most unprofessional incompetent employees i have ever met. after telling us we are NOT able to get an oil change because we need to change the water pump first, he then calls back 5 minutes later letting us know that an oil change was in fact done after explaining to us all the risks and damages it could cause our vehicle. At the time of the pick up, there was no indication of an oil change done. Roland made us feel as if WE were an inconvenience to him after he could barely do his job as is. Turns out, the mechanics "forgot" to reset the lights and he assured us there "was" and oil changed done. We paid well over $300 for this entire service just to not know weather or not we are getting what we paid for. Aside from Misty who works in the service department - she seems to be a responsive, hard worker - this is a pretty awful dealership. Have owned a BMW and Porsche from Bill Pearce and it is unlikely I will ever purchase from them again even though I love the vehicles themselves. The Porsche sales side of things is especially conniving and the BMW service side of things doesn't take great care of your vehicle while in their custody or assume any real accountability when things go wrong, which, unfortunately, is a frequent occurrence. In my sincere opinion, Bill Pearce management doesn't recognize the concept of "doing what's right" and is more concerned about squeezing every last nickel out of the customer rather than locking in repeat customers through honest treatment and common courtesy. No wonder there are so many BMWs and Porsches in Reno with plate holders from Sacramento/Rocklin dealerships. Many people would rather drive over the hill to California than give more money to Bill Pearce. If you want basic, decent, trustworthy common courtesy and accountability from dealership management and staff who demonstrate an earnest desire to elevate (or at least be average on) the notion of customer service, try other luxury dealerships in town such as MB, Audi, Lexus or Acura. read more

I brought my car in for service. The service representative was condescending and flippant for the entire exchange. Made me feel like an inconvenience when I requested a loaner vehicle. He stated I should have requested it when making the appointment. If it had been offered, I would have absolutely made the request! When I have brought my car in for service at the Elk Grove location and all other dealerships, the loaner has been offered at the time of service. I wasn't called until almost 4pm about my car. In my experience with other dealerships, I have received a call by 11am when I brought my car in before 9am. The WORST part and why I will never patronize this dealership again, they tried to charge me $400 MORE than what I was quoted for the same service at the Niello dealership!!! The service representatives told me it was because they may have not understood the complexity of the repair... Uhm, what??? Yah, okay. Shameful. I was told this place was awful and I decided to give it a chance anyway. I will gladly drive 2 hours out of my way to avoid Bill Pearce BMW and I suggest anyone looking to service their BMW to do the same. read more
