    Bud, Thank you for the response. I do understand your position with regard to the non-OEM tires used as replacement under the "tires for life" program and your well thought out response to my comment/complaint on "Yelp". I appreciate your offer to discuss alternative tire options and a reasonable substitution; however, I had already discussed this with the customer service advisor and since my last visit required two trips, one for the 30K service and one for the tires, I was and am still unwilling to entertain a third visit. So, I guess that is my decision. This should have been handled differently to keep a customer satisfied instead of driving customers away to other dealers. If customer satisfaction remains your priority maybe proactive efforts to improve the service department would be a better way to accomplish that so responses to "Yelp" complaints would not be necessary. Unfortunately, I am now unsure what the future of my Ridgeline service will be since Bill Pearce is the only Honda dealer in Reno. I suspect, I will be trading the vehicle to a dealership with a better service history, such as Mazda like I referenced. I had good years of service experience with Dolan and feel my expectations were always met by their professionalism and friendly staff. I agree that "Had you known beforehand you could have discussed OEM options". Unfortunately, no one (including Rich Gomes my service advisor, opted to discuss that option beforehand with me. He seemed to always in a hurry when dealing with me, which caused additional stress during my visit. OEM options should always be discussed with customers beforehand to provide decisions instead of just assuming generic parts will be acceptable. Not only was this not clearly communicated but it was not communicated at all until after I complained to customer service. By then it was too late to resolve the issue without yet another visit to the service department. I also reviewed other "Yelp" comments and similar complaints have been listed over the years so this appears to be a reoccurring issue with Bill Pearce service department that has gone on with no improvement. Granted other customers have provided positive feedback as well but I am focusing on my expectations and frankly it has not improved since the purchase of my Ridgeline in 2023. Back then, during my first service appointment, I complained about Rich Gomez and asked that I not be seen by him due to his unprofessionalism and the way I was treated. Specifically, I had an appointment that spelled out why I was there and he argued with me for not telling him why I was at the service department. I even had to have my truck put back into the garage a second time since the requested service had not been completed correctly the first time. Bad first impression leaving me stressed and very disappointed. Even after that first service in 2023, I continued to return to Bill Pearce for service until my most recent 30K visit with the tire replacement. Service was consistent, in that, if I left my vehicle and used the courtesy ride back home, the service would be pushed back to later in the day. I got into the habit of waiting and got my vehicle within an hour, which was acceptable. In those cases I was a happy customer indeed. But I stress that leaving my vehicle was dubious as to when it would be completed leaving me a stressful drive back up the hill to Stead in construction traffic every time. So, I do not think there are any acceptable options moving forward. It has been almost 4 years of service at Bill Pearce and I am still having bad experiences with expectations not being met. Your service should strive to exceed customer expectations not just do the minimum. I wish I felt differently but I just do not see a path forward now.

    I purchased a certified pre-owned HRV this weekend overall it was a great experience. Our salesman, "Ray Luna" was fantastic! Upon arriving, he greeted us with a big smile and was extremely helpful. Ray asked what we were looking for and immediately presented us with 2-3 options. Ray was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles available and took care to explain what was included while not pressuring us. He was very kind and friendly, which went a long way in helping in turning what is normally a stressful experience to a positive one. I highly recommend working with Ray when looking for your next vehicle, he won't disappoint!!

    This is based on our experience re selling our 2008 Honda Pilot. Overall, we were impressed with how easy Bill Pearce Courtesy Honda made it for us. We received a solicitation re buy-back offers, we entered our car data online, received a number, made an appointment, and they had a check prepared for us - all within a couple hours! The person we dealt with was Pam. She was kind and efficient. The only thing that was a bit off with our experience is she seemed to think it was only my husband that she needed to talk to when, in fact, the car was originally mine (to cart our kids around all over as they grew up). I was the one who took it on a test drive all those years ago with my dad. It was a little hard to say goodbye to the car and the memories that went with it.

    I'm surprised the reviews for this business is not higher because my experience was fully Five Stars. I found Bill Pierce Honda online last November trying to find a Honda Civic for my daughter. My sales representative was David Bell. Extremely extremely great experience from the start to finish. He was responsive, Patient, honest , answered all my questions, did what he said he would do, and the representatives who did the paperwork were also very easy to work with. I highly recommend this dealership.

    I love this place. I mean, it would be nice to have more snacks and drinks in the waiting area but that's no big deal. I'm Just hungry at the moment. Prices are reasonable and the staff is excellent. They are all so friendly and welcoming. I'm so grateful for this place. For years, I was spoiled by Lexus and their service department and then I downgraded to Mercedes. They were consistently awful. Honda is the perfect place for me.

We found Dustin's shop and we're going to try to visit the next morning thinking it was a minor issue and we would get a quick fix. We get to his shop 15 minutes before he opens and we explain our situation. He has a busy schedule and had no obligation to help us as we were just passing through but he said he would take a look and ran some tests. He had some initial thoughts and tried a few things related to a MAF sensor (including cleaning and then replacing it) but something was still wrong. He and his team finally isolated the problem with a fuel exhaust sensor, replaced the part and did more test driving and got us back on the road that afternoon. Dustin and his team were kind honest and thorough and we truly appreciated his work and detail. He could have easily given up or just reset the codes but he cared enough to identify and fix the issue. This gave us peace of mind when driving our car the remaining 2000+ miles to get to our destination. Thank you Dustin!

I called to make an appointment for fluid exchanges as my car is nearing 90,000 miles. Before they scheduled the fluid exchanges I requested, they offered to do research to look into my specific make, model, and year to ensure that the items I was asking for would be due and pertinent. They called back within 10 minutes, gave me the research the found, and suggested a transmission exchange service and brake fluid exchange. I dropped my car the morning of my appointment and they were done before 2:00. This is the first car shop I've been to that doesn't smell of oil and tires. And the men behind the counter were dressed nicely in button down shirts with ties. They explained what the services would entail and what they should help with. And boy did my car sound and drive better than she has in a while! I recently went online to schedule an oil change and it was the easiest scheduling platform I've used. So I scheduled a 9:00 am appointment for a diagnosis. Took the day off. I got there at 8;45 am. They told me they could not diagnose it till 3:00 pm. I showed them my email with a 9:00am appointment They said, oh most people just drop their car off. Their appointments have no meaning. English words have meaning but not to them. I'm sure you can't tell them most businesses just give me the bill and I pay it later in the afternoon

They take pictures and video to show you what things actually look like vs what they should look like. Also big shout out to Nile whose unusual rep for repairs, he's super communicative with where they're at. The shop also has a couple loaner vehicles which came in clutch when I had to get my timing chain fixed. I was able to still get to and from work. The staff here is super nice and I feel like they care for my car as if it's their own. On my last repair they asked if they could hold onto my car for another day cause they weren't satisfied with where they got it and wanted to double back and tweak a couple things to hopefully give my car back in as best condition as possible.(this wasn't any extra cost). I also love doing my oil changes here, they check a bunch of other areas of your car while they do the oil change and give you a rundown of recommended fixes. Also if not they have never pressured me on any fixes which eases my mind. Pressure sales in the auto industry feel fake and dishonest to me. Also, they give your car a quick wipe down of the consoles and vacuum as long as your car isn't full of stuff. It feels nice to get your car back a little cleaner than you gave it to them.
