Fish and chips, fish tacos, and patty melt have all been very good on several occasions, for our group of 4. Large portion of jasmine rice comes with tacos, it's good, but it really needs a sauce to add flavor and moisture. Fish portions are large and lightly breaded. Burger meat very good. Drinks, iced tea, are also large. Parking seems to be an issue, so for lunch we make a point to be there close to opening time & that works. read more

The food and service were great. I got the fish & chips, breading was perfect and the tartar was a little sweet for my liking but with a little lemon juice it paired great with the fish. After a day in the heat at Lake Watson. I was craving a beer and burger. Bills grill hit the spot. They had like 20 beers on tap, one being my favorite, the "white chocolate ale". I built my own burger, and it was amazing. I added avocado , caramelized onions, fried egg , and cheddar to my burger. It was amazing. I recommend the combination bring a featured burger. WOW, WOW, WOW! I was not expecting this. We came into Arizona tonight and we were starving. Searched local places and Bill's came up. Ok Burgers, sounds great. When we walked in I was shocked by the almost beachy feel of the place. Now we didn't go into the other room where the bar was, but what was the patio I would guess...oh who cares...the food! They have a lot to choose from. I opted to build my own burger. 1/3 pound patty. I went with the pretzel bun. Pepper Jack cheese, applewood smoked bacon, Lettuce, tomato, pickles.... AWESOME! By far, one of the best burgers I've eaten in years. Over the next few days I hope to get back over there. I want to try the black & blu burger. read more

We are visiting Prescott and visited Bill's Grill our first evening here. It's right off the main road on the South side of town. Easy to get in. We walked in and the atmosphere was like a great little Mom & Pop place. The wait staff were friendly, and so accommodating. Most of all, the food is delicious and sumptuous. We frequent this restaurant. Love the Black and Blue burger. My hubby gets the portlander which is a burger and it has a fried egg on top. The beer I order is called white chocolate my favorite beer. It is a normal blond beer but the after taste is slightly like a tootsie roll. Please try it when you got there. Found this local place on Yelp and read great review so I thought I'd give it a try. The service was absolutely amazing our waiter was so nice. But the food was very basic nothing super tasty. I got the Caesar salad which was super wet and a ton of Parmesan cheese but it was still good. The sweet potato fries were a little burnt and didn't have any salt on them. I also got the pulled pork tacos which were pretty good. Overall it's a good place but I just wanted to try it out I don't think I'll be going back not that it was bad but it's not the best . I'm a local in Prescott and have eaten here in the past, about two years since the last time. We had company visiting and they wanted to eat here because "it looks busy." My impression: service was good, food was a disappointment. I ordered a burger that was tasty, for $11, but was pretty small. I remember their burgers being larger in the past. And for $11, you would think a side would be included. No Sides! The rest of my group of friends all agreed the food was okay but no big deal and all agreed they wouldn't come again. We called Aury to make reservations but the only available is at 8:45pm so since Bill's Grill is close to our lodge, we decided to have our dinner here. They set the tables far apart, the server told us we can sit anywhere we wanted. All servers wore masks and very active with all tables. It's a good size restaurant, 2 blocks away from Whiskey Row so it's quieter and we were happy for them to see the room filled up with customers. My husband ordered a Burger with fries and cole slaw and I ordered Thai chicken with rice. Food came out fast and tasty, portions are good so we can't try the deserts. Well, first time in Prescott. Beautiful place, you get to walk around and even the junkies smile at you! Jk. It is a very cool place though. We needed to get out of the heat.. so we hit go on the GPS and we got here. It's getting late, and we need to get a bite. Other than that, your going to do what you always do.. hit the road, and when you get on the freeway.. everyone yells.. "we are hungry!!" So we went on our trusty Yelp. Not wanting to spend a fortune just to fuel up, we ended up here. The waitress.. super cool. The place, nice and cool. And the food.. well it was more than what we expected. 4 of us . 2 kids, 2 adults. Fish N chips, kids burger, their weekly specials burger, and chili cheese fries.. More than enough!! My mother wanted to come here for her birthday, as she's been curious about it. We ended up being a very noisy group of 8, with a couple of late arrivals. Our waitress wasn't put off by late orders, and continued to work with her trainee. Staff were all gracious & attentive, even when the restaurant was FULL. Our group had no duplicates & everything from avocado tacos to patty melt to BLT was ordered. Everything came out together for those of us who ordered at the same time - the late arrivals got their orders very promptly, as we were all still eating. Drink refills appeared without asking. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My burger was good - nothing spectacular, but good. It's a burger - I don't expect Gordon Ramsay. I did taste the difference in the fresh beef - you can tell. Bills Grill.. Been going there for about 2 years now. So that tells you we liked it... Having had good meals there. So very surprised today !! My Wife and I went there today about 3:15 . For a early dinner. ( we had a healthy appetite) I noticed at once there was just one other couple in the restaurant no one else was eating.. We ordered our meal . Zucchini, Poor Boy oyster and fish sandwich And I had a Guacamole, Pepper Jack Burger. Well after a 30 min wait we got our appetizer did not understand the time of the wait as there were no patrons waiting for Food ! The Zucchini. It came in a basket . All the Zucchini was greasy and rolled up in a fist size ball. The rest of the food then came out to our table . It too was very unappealing.. The fish poor boy sandwich was greasy ,poorly cooked all batter and just a small amount of fish , oysters were were Mush !! My Burger was Tasteless and had very little cheese on it. There's a place in Prescott my wife and I love to get burgers... I won't name it, because Bill's Grill beat it out today. No need for a backstory yet, here's the star... I built my own burger, 1/3lb Angus with fresh cracked black pepper, fried egg, and Applewood bacon. Cooked medium, on a pretzel bun. Nothing else fancy. No ketchup, no sauce, I didn't even put the side condiments (lettuce, tomato, pickle) on the burger. Most flavorful, delicious burger I have ever had. Backstory: I've had a lot of burgers. The sweet potato fries were good too, but not quite as good as the other place, I won't mention. (maybe check my other reviews). In any case, I recommend Bill's Grill as a must visit. read more
