They kept up on communication which was really important to us. They set up a free appointment to come give a quote. Jason showed up and took his time to make his assessment, patiently answering any questions, providing great honest customer service as well as vast knowledge of there product and how it would be installed. We are happy with our EasyTurf, and got many comments about how it's the most 'real' looking fake grass people have seen, but a few notes 1) Sprinklers they were recommending we completely cut/cap all sprinklers. but if we did that, they would be buried and if a future homeowner wanted to rip out the artificial turf and put in real grass again, it would make it a headache to find where the sprinklers are. so we cut them, but they are right below the surface to make it easy to reconnect sprinklers should a future owner want to do that 2) Drains they recommended covering the drains. we felt it better for drainage to actually have the drains showing. plus, by having the drains showing, ti gives the grass a more real look (without drains) it looks like green carpet. 3) Industrial Sand One thing I didn't realize. All artificial turf companies use Industrial sand to weigh down the turf. It's silica based. i definitely would make sure all windows are closed and you're not around while it's being installed. silica sand can have some bad health effects. (note: once the sand is down and wet and packed a bit, you don't get the dust flying around) 4) Grass Length our rep did recommend the slightly longer grass, which ultimately was a good idea. once the sand goes in on TOP of the grass, you lose maybe about 1/4" to 1/2" of height of the blades. 5) The Look the fake grasses are getting much better. they now have a brown thatch (under the green grass) which helps. however, they are still far too green in my opinion making them still look fake. they need to make 1 out of every 10 blades brown or tan to make the grass much more real. they'll probably do that on the next generation of grasses so if you can wait for that, i'd wait. 6) Sales i think they use college kids as sales reps which is fine. it's not always the most professional experience, they just drive up in their own car, there's no 'easy turf' truck with demos. also, we never got any formal invoice. it was just written on a piece of paper or something which was odd for such a big company i guess. read more

We had Easy Turf scheduled for a 3-day repair project for a school during Spring Break and they ended up being a no show on the day of work which was a Monday. Apparently over the weekend a decision was made that new installs are priorities over repairs and we were blown off. I guess this company is more interested in getting new install work rather than new clients for the less profitable repair work. I have sent emails, used their website contact form, called numerous times at various times of day, left voice messages (you never actually get a live person, you are always directed to voice mail because everone is "busy". - all over the course of a few months, the most recent just the other day (two emails and three phone calls). *** Not once did I receive an email reply or call back. nada, zip, nothing. *** If it wasn't such a far drive (I'm in Beverly Hills), I would have just gone over to their office, but they'd probably just have a sign to "leave a note on the door, we're busy" (hah). I had a great experience here :) I called ahead looking for some cheap remnants for a very small area for my dog. The salesperson told me to come on in and gave me some prices over the phone. When I got there I expected something like to a lumber yard but it actually turned out to be more of a showroom. We've had EasyTurf for almost 7 years now. Recently our irrigation system that runs under the turf developed a leak. I know how to install and repair irrigation systems, however, I did not feel comfortable attempting to remove the turf to access the plumbing. I scheduled our appointment between 2 and 4 pm. Junior showed up a few minutes before 3 pm. He was extremely friendly and professional. I showed him where the leak was and he was able to remove enough of the turf so that we could access it. Removing all of the dirt and roots around the PVC was a major pain, but I didn't hear a single complaint from Junior...not sure how he managed that :). He knew exactly what needed to be done and we were able to get it repaired. He then filled everything back in and reinstalled the turf. It looks as good as new. I was extremely happy with this last appointment and we would definitely get EasyTurf again if we were in a similar situation. I would highly recommend them. read more

They are excellent on their sales pitch but once something goes wrong they lose all communication. They built a retaining wall and it has cracks everywhere and the top tiles are separating. I have contacted Kimberly Adams at the La Mirada location and sent in pictures and I have been ignored for over a month. Every number I call I have left messages and no one seems to know anything. I gave 2 stars because the artificial turf hasn't had problems yet - but it's only been a year. I am afraid to see what happens if I ever need further assistance. Easy Turf get it together! I spent over 20K!!! A simple call to see what needs repair would be the thing to do! I strongly do not recommend this company. They do not stand behind their work!!! This is a huge investment!!! It's not as if I bought a small potted plant!!! I am very dissatisfied. I moved in to a brand new community where we all need yards (lots are all dirt). Two weeks later I saw the hem at Home Depot and told them I never got the bid. Two days later the office called and promised a bid the next day. Very happy with our install... we have a 150 sq ft back yard (not even sure that's considered a back yard) that was muddy and in bad condition. After many attempts to grow real grass - sod and seed - we decided it was time for astro turf so that my puppy wouldn't keep tracking in dirt/sand. We got a referral from another dog mom and thought that since she did all the research, we wouldn't have to! We are very happy after the installation two weeks ago. My puppy is a digger, but to think this stuff will stand up to digging is a little bonkers. I can't leave him alone for too long until he learns digging is no bueno. This review is solely based on our estimate appointment with Rose. She showed up on time, that gets the one star. She showed us the turf samples, explained the process. Repeated a few times that they would not be the cheapest option. That was fine as we're looking for quality work. She pushed the financing option a few times after my husband had already mentioned we weren't interested in financing. We were annoyed at this point already. The icing on the cake was when she asked if my husband was working. First of all, what kind of professional asks that?! She then proceeded to say that she asked because a lot of people are having issues getting approved for financing right now. AGAIN, we told her that we didn't want to finance. We could have paid CASH on the spot but thanks to Rose, we'll take our business elsewhere! So unprofessional. So I bought turf from these guys about 4 years ago, was seriously impressed with everything about the company. Sales folks sold me exactly what I wanted and needed. Installer(s) did a really good meticulous job and I was over the top satisfied. So 4 years past, turf still looked really good but needed a spruce up. I have 3 dogs so it (the turf) saw a tremendous amount of traffic. Junior came out to preform the spruce up......wow, it looked bran new again. We were all set to go with an install, until we read the terms and conditions of their standard agreement.....the sentence that lost them the deal reads: "Contractor shall not be held responsible for damage to driveways, walks, lawns, shrubs or other vegetation by movement of trucks, workmen, equipment, materials, debris, etc." When we asked for that language to be deleted from their terms the request was denied. Don't know how any contractor can get away with that kind of contract language. Beware people - read what you are asked to sign! read more
