    Momo $15
    Michael L.

For a person taking the long trek up to Everest Base Camp, in freezing temperatures, air getting thinner with each step, and feeling a headache due to the altitude, there's nothing more comforting than some hot, freshly cooked Momo's. Actually anytime a person can get their hands on good momos whether on the mountain, Kathmandu, or the Ferry Building Farmer's Market on the weekend in San Francisco, it's a great thing. Bini's Kitchen fulfills all the momo and Nepalese cravings. I order the eight piece half lamb, half chicken momos and they were delicious. The best part is definitely the sauce they put on it which is slightly spicy and savory. The chicken momos are also better than the lamb if I had to choose one. Comforting and tasty dumplings. I would order it again and maybe next time the combo so I can get their sauce on the rice as well.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! as a critical vegan living in sf, this is hands down one (might even be my current fav) place for food in sf! the vegan momos are sooo good especially with the sauce they give me! i get it at least a couple times a month (always order it on grubhub or get it at the ferry building farmers market). there aren't many things i love but this ... I LOVE.

I love Bini's Kitchen when I discover them as a food Truck and was happy again to find them as a pop up hidden on 1 Post street behind the McKesson building. Luckily I was just passing by and happen to buy monos! They are my favorite!! They have great flavor and spices in their meals. I could just inhale the entire menu in my tummy!

It's a kiosk located near the Montgomery Bart station. I tried the vegetarian momos. There were 8 momos with chutney on top. The momos came filled with tofu and other veggies. It was very filling. The chutney was yummy

I did not have such a great experience today, but since I had this review in draft mode for a while, I'm going to review based on my last two experiences... I had walked past this place so many times but was never curious enough to check out the menu. One day, while wandering around feeling uninspired, I finally decided to give it a look and discovered they serve Nepalese momos! I love all kinds of dumplings, so I was instantly sold. I ordered the chicken, lamb, and vegetarian momos, eight pieces each. The meat ones were $14 and the veggie was $12. I practically skipped back to the office, ready to dig in. They were so good ! Full of flavor, juicy, and perfectly spiced. I just wish they had been a little hotter, but a quick 10-second microwave fix did the trick. I took the rest home and steamed them up the next day, adding a spoonful of Trader Joe's Crispy Garlic Crunch, which made them even better. My husband and son loved them too. I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Sometimes a little wandering leads to the best finds!

Late post: Finally get to try this place. It was close for a while. Great fast and delicious food. A bit pricy but after pandemic everything has gone so you can't blame them. Price: $17 for chicken curry over rice with veggie momo and $2 extra if you choose lamb or chicken momo not including tax. Overall even with the price, the food is really good. I definitely recommend this place.

Transitioning from working remote during the pandemic for 3 years back to working miserable office hours requires training wheels, so what better way than to go back to my favorite lunch spot to remind me of the good old pre-plague days! Bini's is tucked away in a corner between two buildings and they have gotten a fresh new look for their storefront. Food is just as good as before--hearty, delicious portions of momos, rice, and chicken to make you fall into a food coma and hope that your boss won't see you doze off. Personally, I love the lamb momos, but if you don't like the gamey taste, the chicken momos are just as delicious! Service is quick and the food is fresh and hot. Takeout only as there is no seating here. Makes me want to go back to the office just for Bini's!

Delicious Momos and sides! Really nice people at the Bini's stand! I got the lamb momos and eggplant side!

I work in the Financial District, so I'm always looking for quick casual places to eat for lunch. Binis Kitchen is an alright place to grab a quick bite. It's a stand, so keep in mind that you'll need to find somewhere else to sit while enjoying your food. However, I found the prices to be a little bit on the higher side for what you're getting, ranging from $18 to $20.

We had some tasty momos from Bini's at Hardly Strictly! 4 stars. They lasted pretty well over a couple hours as well.

They were really helpful in pointing out some of the popular dishes and assisting in my order. I chose medium spicy for my first time and I'm glad they asked what spice level. Very nice flavor over all and the samosas were loaded! The goat curry was a huge portion size and easily sharable. It's nice that the dish comes with steamed rice. Shit on the sidewalk, which I have heard but figured people were just being judgemental, we ran into shit. Ran into street with a church, both sides were large groups of people unhoused, a couple were showing signs of Fentanyl use, hunched over an inable to walk. It was a lot. A man in front of the church was bent over, took off his pants and no underwear on. I was afraid he was going to shit. We ran the fuck out of there. Then down Market Street, at least 20 police cars drove faster than I have ever seen, where they must have turned all of those lights green and all others red so they could race to their destination. It was scary, i was worried because the Civic Center is nearby and we all know what people are capable of. Anyways...turned around to go home, starving, we saw an indoor mall with signs displaying Himalayan food! Yeah, so I went to wash my hands, and there was a shit trail on the floor from a toilet to a pile in the middle of the floor. The Mens restroom had a security guard, i asked, he said some crazy fight was going on. I relayed the information about the poop to pass along to janitorial services. Go to MoMa, avoid shithole area apparently called "Tenderloin." Yeah, tourist here, found this place, rated well, and it was a shit-sanwhich to get to. Maybe an Uber, if they will drive there! We had to wait a while before the food started to arrive, which was not unexpected considering the size of our group and the amount of food that we ordered. I especially liked the chicken biryani and chicken chow mein. Some of the other dishes like the egg fried rice weren't quite to my liking, but that's why it was nice to have a good variety of dishes. Regardless, Base Camp was awesome and a solid restaurant in the Mission. My friend and I arrived impromptu on a Monday night, surprised to see a crowded house; luckily, we snagged a table in the corner. We ordered the tandoori octopus, pork belly bhutwa, and goat curry which were all good. The tandoori octopus was fork tender and delicately spiced. The pork belly had vaguely Indian and vaguely Chinese flavor profiles, without lending itself to either side of the fulcrum. Kinda masala mixed with a bit of mala, which makes sense given Nepal's location. The goat curry was the only dish, albeit good, that didn't quite stand out for me. Service is also incredible.
