The lines tend to be long on prime weekend breakfast time but they go quickly. I think it took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready. Seating: Outdoors only. You can go inside to use the bathroom but no seats in there. Food: I was in the mood for bacon when I came so got the bird bird bacon sandwich. The biscuit was crispy and flaky and complimented the sandwich. I tried a bite of my friend's chicken sandwich and that tasted good as well, although a bit too sweet for my liking. I also had a side of fries which had what tasted like old bay seasoning and I didn't like it at all. For dessert I had the dough-doughs, which was very delicious! I expected this place to be amazing. Best way I can describe the experience: Mid I had a few people tell me about this place and saying that the biscuits were to die for being the south eastern boy that I am, I knew I had to try it. Parking was slightly difficult, but it didn't take me too long to get some street parking. It was also incredibly hot the day I went so be mindful of the temperature if you decide to go here because it is an outdoor only restaurant. When I arrived, I checked out the menus and saw a special biscuit called the Carolina Caviar (immediately sold) which had green chili pimento cheese with fried chicken and pickles. Of course I had to get that and then some Dough-Dough's on the side since the menu said it seemed like they usually sold out. My experience: - The Carolina Caviar: was a bit of a mess. The green chili pimento cheese had a very strange aftertaste and was very heavy in its flavor. I felt it did not pair very well surprisingly with the fried chicken or the pickles which made it hard to enjoy. An upside I would point out is the fact that they put on a HEAP of pickles but I felt that it made the biscuit unbalanced and somehow didn't even cut down the flavor of the cheese. - The Dough-Doughs: I felt were okay but not what I was expecting. They were extremely cakey and thick with a heavier doughy taste but I was expecting more of an airy/light experience that I felt could have paired better with the heaviness of the Biscuit. I also feel like it would have really done well to have some icing with it to fully complete the more cakiness of the dough. Overall: I have heard way too many good things about this place to believe this is the experience everyone is having. Bird Bird Biscuit is easily the top place I bring people to whenever I have friends visiting and it never disappoints. It's never too hard to find parking, the biscuits are always both soft and flaky, the chicken is juicy and crispy. Its just so so good. I usually go to the other location, but I was pleased to find that this location is just as good. My personal favorite is the Queen Beak because I love the honey. And I recently tried the fries which were amazing too, especially with the dill mayo. The sandwiches here are also super filling so I usually split one with a friend. read more

I'm not a fan of spicy food, but I am trying to be adventurous so I left it as is and added cheese and an egg. The chicken was so tender. I'm not a big fan of fried chicken, but this one was juicy. I came here on a Tuesday morning around 11:35am with my son and sister. After parking and walking up, an employee, Michael, came up to us and asked if we had been here before. I told him no and that we were from North Carolina. He walked us to where we needed to order. He told us about the different menu options. The jams are made in house as well as the lemonades. He gave us a drink on the house as we all got the house strawberry lemonade, which was delicious! You must order via the kiosk. The order was placed around 11:40am. There was only one person ahead of us in line, so the wait for short. I got the Theodore sandwich. My son and sister got the queen beak sandwich. Michael brought us our drinks as we were finishing up our order, he brought us dough doughs to try as we waited for our food. I received a text that my order was ready at 11:48. I went to the pickup window and gave the the last of my phone number. We decided to eat there. They have bar benches and chairs on two sides of their restaurant. When I looked in the big bag, I saw that each biscuit had its own bag. Not only that, but the bag is labeled with your order, which I thought was awesome! The biscuits were DELICIOUS! All of us enjoyed our food. Absolutely no complaints at all. I actually got full after eating my biscuit, so I ate my biscuit and jam when I got hungry and it did not disappoint! I see other reviews complaining about the wait, but it's worth it! I would note that when we got there, it wasn't busy. But when ww left around noon, it had gotten very busy. The only thing that wasn't that great that happened last time was that I placed a mobile order for pick up, and it said it was going to be done at a certain time so I waited about 5 minutes after the said time and went up to the window and asked. The person working that day ended up giving me a little attitude and asked if I got the text for pick up. I said no and then he said to go back and wait.
