So we used to love Biscuits Cafe and got A LOT of take out from them. After being loyal customers for YEARS and YEARS, it sucks to have to leave a negative review but here we are. The food had been slipping big time already (burned food, forgotten items, greasy over cooked food, stale food, etc) but then they pulled credit card fraud. Our credit card was overcharged by $6 or so. Amount is not a big deal but the broken trust is a HUGE dealbreaker (we double checked that it wasn't accidental or a mistake - it was done purposefully). We have the receipt showing what we paid in total printed by their system before we left the restaurant and someone added more money onto the bill (most likely as a tip) after the fact. We leave cash tips and charge the meal to the card so this wasn't an oops in typing in the wrong number or something. Considering this particular take out meal was horrible in quality as well, the money stealing really adds insult to injury. We reached out to them but never heard back. Surprise surprise. I know businesses are hurting but come on. Bad food, ripping off your customers, and not responding to a legit complaint? Very disappointed and disgusted with this place. read more

Perhaps better in person - but got takeout Avocado Eggs Benedict and they forgot the avocado and the hollandaise sauce? So it was a really dry meal. The other meal was biscuits ordered with extra gravy, and instead got NO gravy. After spending that much on brunch, super disappointed with what we got. Food was okay, service was decently good and came fast. Atmosphere was decent, we were not given silver wear with our food either.

Breakfast was pretty good. I did like how crunchy the hash browns were. The pancakes were made very well and the syrup was surprisingly good. The omelet I ordered had country gravy and it was also good. I can't underplay any of the food that I've eaten here, especially for a breakfast chain. I recommend giving this a try. read more

I tried the veggie wrap with potatoes and was able to substitute the flour with corn tortillas, as well as a side of pancakes. Everything was pretty good, but nothing special. I felt like my entree was the healthiest option and had a good amount of veggies that tasted fresh. The portions are ginormous. I could only eat one pancake and a third of the scramble, without eating any tortilla or potatoes. Our waitress was nice. read more

Fabulous, and our most traveled go-to breakfast spot. If you are looking to miss the wave, come right after 12:00 or during Mass on Sunday morning. Any other time, you're definitely looking for a wait, but I believe the longest we have seen is about 20 minutes. Saturday never seems aggressive for a wait, and you'll never wait on a weekday. Service is excellent and food always comes out quick. Have yet to have a bad experience and have been there easily over 10 times. LOVE the raspberry preserve served with toast. Yummy. read more

I've been to this biscuits before and it's always been amazing. I went there today and once again I was not let down the service is very much above average and its a very relaxing environment. A lot of these lower reviews seem very childish and pathetic. The staff on hand seems to be amazing, however, they seem to lack leadership from above. I have only seen the owner a few times and seems very distracted and not involved with his employees. Literally would and have recommended this restaurant to my friends all the time. I very much look forward to enjoying the food and service again soon. read more

I feel bad for leaving a negative review, because I understand restaurants are under a lot of strain right now. I ordered over the phone and was told 15 minutes. Here I wait an hour later and was informed my order was lost. I just had my order taken again so I'm hoping it will be ready soon. I've seen this happen to at least two other people this morning. I don't know anything about managing a restaurant, but the hostess and staff look completely frazzled and all over the place. They were very polite so it seems like management needs to do a better job at giving them the training/resources they need to provide better service. I ate lunch at the Biscuits Cafe in Wilsonville last week and experienced fantastic, fast service so I'm not sure what's going on with this location. Edit: after the lost order, it took another 30min and it came out missing items. Luckily I went back in and the missing items were provided within 5-10min. read more

The food was delicious. The lack of hot running water in the restroom will prevent me from returning. My hands are still cold. Seriously this isn't a luxury item...it is standard item I expect when going out. This isn't a chevron bathroom. Even truck stops have hot running water. Had breakfast there this morning. Very disappointed to see the staff regularly has their mask pulled down under their nose or chin. One waitress with colored hair (pinkish) was preparing food and drinks with her mask under her chin. Never washed her hands after touching her mask to pull it up or down. A bin of Silverware was left out in the open on a table were customers walk by to use the restroom. Food was fine, nothing to write home about, but I won't be returning as it is not healthy or safe. read more

My partner and I ordered from them through DoorDash. We paid for the fried chicken steak, pancakes and the corn beef hash, and waited well over an hour and a half, only to receive half the order. When we called about the missing corn beef hash, we were told that the restaurant was out of corn beef hash even though it was still available on their door dash menu. I got one item for To-go and ordered around 10am. I sat waiting for nearly 25 min for one dish. They were fairly busy and I could hear the grub hub bell going off a bunch so it wasn't their fault. Talked the wife in to giving the place a try. I like to visit different restaurants while traveling... no sense in eating at the same old chain place I can go to at home. Her French toast combo was most excellent and my grilled turkey on sourdough was exceptional. I came hot rather than warm, which I often find. It was grilled to perfection and tasted great, In the interest of health I went with the side salad rather than fries. I expected the typical small cluster of lettuce and was pleasantly surprised with a large salad that included tomato, carrot, cucumber, red onion, and a pepperchini. If I could give zero stars I would. Standing outside the restaurant right now, was here at 11:01am for our 11am reservation only to find out that the table for myself and my family was given away. That is ridiculous. My party called a month in advance because we had a large party reservation but I guess the owner doesn't care about good customer service or keeping a professional business conduct. I find it very hard to believe that my table was given away because I walked in a minute after the reservation. Don't waste your time here. I've seen Biscuits Cafes in various locations and always wanted to try it out, so when this one opened near our house, it was my chance. We've gone twice now, once for lunch and once for breakfast, and I have to say I was not impressed. The service here is REALLY slow. An hour and 15 minutes for a breakfast for two consisting of eggs and a waffle should NOT take that long. The omelets look like something I'd make at home, complete with the American cheese slices on top. Only mine tastes better. The biscuits? I still can't figure out why they are not special when it's their namesake. Overall, mediocre food at best and though the service is friendly enough, I do not go to a place like this to "linger." read more

We LOVE weekend brunch in my household. Of all kinds, we like the fancy fare at Urban Farmer, and we love the greasy spoon fare at McKenzie's. However, we did not like Biscuits. We waited entirely too long to be seated, and then quite a bit longer for our food to arrive. We were taken aback by the higher prices, until we received our plates piled high with obscene portions of mediocre food. The food was so bad, that we did not take our leftovers home, even though it was enough food for more than one more breakfast. Now, we sit at La Superior and enjoy delicious food and marvel at how many people endure that same experience across the parking lot on weekends! read more

I stopped in because it was nearby, because I didn't want anything fancy, because I didn't want to spend too much (though these prices are really just a dollar or two less than much nicer/higher quality places nearby), and because I wanted to get a little work done and I felt more comfortable doing that in an "average" type place. The server was very nice. She was friendly, quick, helpful but non-intrusive, just overall very pleasant and if I went again I would hope to have her as my server every time. The food was ok, nothing special, nothing I'd crave or come back specifically for, but it didn't taste bad either. The look is the same as every other Biscuits, fine, nothing standout. Everything about this restaurant it average, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's right in the middle. I guess if you're in the area and need a decent place to bring the family this would be a good choice. It seems like the kind of place that kids would be more than welcome. The food is fine, though people who consider themselves "foodies" will likely look down their nose at it. Basically it is what it is. First thing I discovered when I visited Biscuits Cafe--they close at 2:30. I came in at 2:25 and they happily took my take out order. Looked like a decent place inside. Ample room for a fair amount of people. The bacon cheeseburger and fries were reasonably priced and tasted good. Shredded lettuce (my favorite on burgers,) processed American cheese slice, and the bacon was fairly crispy. It reminded me of an A&W burger. Typical one-step-above average fast food type burger. Nothing really stood out as good or bad, but the people were friendly, and the prices were reasonable, so I'll be back. How's that for an ambiguous review? Maybe I'll wrap it up by saying that if you live in the area, or are out that way, it's worth checking out. I still need to try their breakfast--maybe that'll push me to one side or the other. read more

Since my January review, I've been here twice. There are problems that I have experienced. 1. Be patient. Expect 30-45 mins for food. The cooks got slower. 2. The cooks are more incompetent and can't poach an egg. Two times in a row my eggs benedict was overhard. 3. Servers are more rude and no longer refill drinks. We had to seat ourselves and get our own menus last time. Drive a little farther and eat at Elmers on Gaarde and Hwy 99. It's worth the extra 10 min drive. If you want to willing to drive to Portland, go to Mother's, Besaws, or Stepping Stone for breakfast. read more

I wanted to like this place, their menu looked great, and honestly the food tasted okay. My problem with it was that I felt VERY sick to my stomach afterwards. I ordered their 1/2 hot cocoa 1/2 coffee blend, and it was very tasty but maybe far too sugary for me. My husband and I each got our own (and we can eat a lot), and just half of it filled us up. I would recommend sharing that if you get it. I ordered the veggie eggs benedict, which came with avocado, tomato, and I added ham to it. It was actually pretty tasty but just 1 benedict sans bun filled me up. It was just too much food! As I said, not sure what made me feel sick afterwards, it might have just been a personal sensitivity. The food was okay, just nothing super memorable or unique when you compare it with all the other local brunch spots they're competing with. However the service was good and it was a quick in and out so that was nice. They also appeared to have a pretty wide variety on their menu. read more

A follow up on my expierence, we decided to give biscuits another try and call ahead to make an order to go. The third and last effort has failed as they don't take to go orders when they are busy. The newest member of the Biscuits Cafe chain opened about a month ago so my wife and I decided to give it try for breakfast this morning hoping that the typical new restaurant gitters has been worked out. This turned out to be pretty much true. The place was about 90% full when we got there a little after 8am and we were promptly greeted and shown to our table. The first thing that we noticed was that it was much quieter than their Baseline location. Probably due to the layout as they didn't spend any money on a fancy interior. Service was quick, friendly and efficient but not without it's flaws. The food was well it was Biscuits. The same menu as all the rest of their eateries, the same pre made mixes and of course the same pre made biscuits. This isn't saying that the food is bad just uninspired sameness. My wife ordered the house made corn beef hash and I had the blueberry pancakes. Both were decent if uninspiring. My wife also asked for her egg to be poached and the did a good job of poaching the eggs, firm whites with a runny yolk. I on the other hand wasn't quite as lucky. My pancakes were fine but I ordered a side of bacon crisp and while it wasn't limp it wasn't cooked crisp either, lots of translucent fat. To the waiters credit he asked if he could get me anther order and when I declined he brought a couple of new pieces for me to eat. They were better bet still not up to parr. Sadly, I've requested crisp bacon at their Baseline location and had excellent results. This is solid breakfast place and I'll go back but I'll cross my fingers next time when I order my bacon crisp. read more

I have been to other Biscuits Cafes in the Portland area, but this one is by far the best. This one went in close to our house, but we waited for a long time before we tried it out because we hadn't had good experiences at other locations. This is now one of our regular weekend breakfast locations. I almost always get the 2 eggs with hashbrowns and biscuits, which are always great and have branched out a time or two to try other items. The avocado benedict was really good as well. I was surprised to read other reviews complaining about the service. We have never had bad or slow service in all the times we have been there (probably around a dozen times). In fact, when we are planning our morning, we allow for about 45 minutes for breakfast and that it how it always goes. We can easily get in and out in under an hour, even on a Saturday morning. We will go back many times and would recommend this location to friends. read more

Even though I wouldn't recommend this joint for a quick or even normal-length meal, it does seem like a nice place to go if you want to catch up with someone over breakfast! Never had a problem with service here. I haven't tried really anything except their biscuits and gravy breakfast with ham and over-easy eggs. That's what I order from most breakfast places, and now that's what I stick with. My roommate tends to order something different everytime and has no complaints thus far. Their prices are moderate, portions are decent and the food is good. Service is usually pretty quick and its location is near my apartment. Reliable breakfast at a good price - serving up one of my favorite foods. I prefer sausage gravy with biscuits and gravy - but theirs is pretty delicious and can make me forget about that preference. read more

Biscuits Cafe was just what we needed when I had 5 hungry kids with me for lunch! We were promptly seated and greeted by our waitress and had a wonderful lunch experience. The kids loved that they could get breakfast even at the lunch hour and the chocolate chip pancakes put smiles on all their faces.
