We've been coming to this location for years. 10/10 would recommend for the food, service, and freezer jam! The vibe is cozy and Americana, with a menu to match. I'd be remiss if I didn't hype the biscuits (it's not called Biscuits for nothing!) - so fluffy and probably my favorite in town.

    So bad

WORST breakfast food I ever had. Worse than Denny's, which I thought the bar couldn't go lower, but this place did it. We ordered corned beef hash, and basic scrambled eggs and bacon. Potatoes had this slimy, starchy taste, and the corned beef hash was so gamy and dry, my husband who usually just eats anything when he's hungry, couldn't even finish it. I ordered just basic stuff in case I didn't like other items on the menu, and it still came out bad. The servers weren't friendly either, we asked for breakfast recommendations and they basically said they like everything here, which wasn't very helpful. I saw people sitting next to me left most their food too. Not very clean environment, and just a bad experience overall.

Biscuits was a great experience. The staff was all super attentive and friendly. We came in with a relatively large party of 8 and were blown away by the food. We all got a pretty decent variety of breakfast foods, including pancakes, stuffed French toast, loaded hashbrowns biscuits, and gravy, almond crusted French toast and everything was amazing. Absolutely would recommend. Angel was a great presence and kind. We truly enjoyed our meal

I got the B.E.A.S.T Benedict with loaded hash browns and that was good! We came in Sunday around noon and there was a 30 minute wait. But they were friendly and nice! The ambiance is that of a solid diner, you get lots of food and a hearty meal! I love how it's family owned!

The service the food top notch! If you're looking for a great start to your day, this is the spot! We ordered the breakfast bowl and omg perfectly balanced with meat and eggs, had the biscuits and this came with jam and butter. The jam topped it! The bowl came with a side of gravy and it was the best gray! Cinnamon French toast was just the right amount of sweetness and definitely recommend! Chocolate chip pancakes were perfection, just the right amount of chocolate chip and the pancake was fluffy

Delicious! We love dining at biscuits cafe! They have gluten free options, and very filling portions. It is on the pricier side, the only reason we do not come here more. The people working have always been very kind and attentive, offering excellent conversation. The restaurant itself is cozy and friendly, with the smell of breakfast food floating around and the sounds of clinking glassware.

We beat the rush on a Saturday morning when we arrived around 8am. I like that the size of this restaurant is more quaint & cozy yet still spacious. Menu item choices are diverse. Portions are plentiful. Prices fair. Attentive servers.

I would say this place is a solid breakfast place with lots of menu options and generous portions for a reasonable price . It's giving East Coast diner vibes. We came on a Saturday morning at 8am so before the big weekend brunch rush but was surprised about half the restaurant was filled up at that time. The entrance can get a little congested once it gets crowded with take out orders too. The parking lot was a little small since it shares with other businesses in that little lot. We were seated right away and got our coffee and water very quickly. Service is good but maybe a little chaotic with a few different people coming up to ask for coffee refills (it got a little too much to be honest) but our waiter was attentive and checked on us often. I would definitely recommend the freshly baked cinnamon roll! It was so soft and the cream cheese frosting was running and paired perfectly with black coffee. We didn't get it but I heard them describing the Chocolate Coffee as half coffee/half hot chocolate with whipped cream which reminded me of Dunkichinos at Dunkin Donuts (IYKYK) we will have to get that next time! I got the B.E.A.S.T Benedict with hashbrowns and my hubby got the 1 biscuit and gravy with bacon and hashbrowns. We shared everything with our toddler and it wa the perfect amount of food with no leftovers! I also loved that they had French toast flights, coffee latte flights, and mimosa flights! This is the place to be for a fun brunch with the girls or for the whole family. We will have to come back again soon to try those out!

Special: chicken apple sausage scramble, loaded hash browns, English muffin
    Raeann P.

Biscuits cafe, one of the most consistent breakfasts you can get. It's nothing too fancy, but it's consistently solid food. Today I had the special, the chicken apple sausage scramble with loaded hash browns and an English muffin. The loaded hash browns were a hit, and the scramble was ok. My favorite part may have been the chicken apple sausage itself, the rest of the scramble lacked a bit of pizazz. All in all though, quick service, usually no wait, a solid diner option. My one negative might be - it's a bit expensive for what you get. This meal was nearing $20. Just go into it eyes open.

The staff was super friendly and we were instantly seated. The decor is a fusion of a a high end restaurant but with the homage to Vietnam with the bamboo shoots and straw hats tastefully decorated. We were served by the owner themselves, Helen and Chin. We ordered the Vietnamese steamed dumplings, appetizer steak bites, the signature rib eye and the unlisted special 40 day aged NY strip steak and Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese steamed dumplings were fantastic, it reminded me almost like a cantonese dim sum ha gao with egg roll filling. It really bought me back to when I was a kid and grandma would take me to sunday dim sum, very nostalgic. The steak bites are delightful. Extremely tender and favorable, it came with with a side of veggies, Thai basil oil and Helen's own chilli crunch recipe. Absolutely would recommend! The signature rib eye and special NY strip is one of the best steaks I have had. Its aromatics of lemon grass, garlic and umami rich hint of fish sauce really compliments to the hearty beef flavor. As we were about to pay our tab and the owners gave us a complimentary affogato for our anniversary! All in all if you are on the west side and want an amazing viet style steak, do not hesitate to come here or bring your friends and family. All of my friends and family gave it 5 stars.

Folks, please indulge me with some real talk: I am a self-admitted "burger snob". Which is why I…read morethink plenty of places make a "good" burger, but very few make an "incredible" burger. This is why I'm very happy to report that Biggie's is serving up a legit, bonafide, INCREDIBLE burger! In fact, before I finish this review I'll just say it: Biggie's has now taken my #1 spot for "Best Burger this side of the Portland Metro area". The pictures I posted tell the story. It's a large, juicy, high-quality burger that is cooked to absolute perfection. This is a REAL smash burger, complete with the obligatory slight crispness on the burger's edges. I had previously thought that John's Marketplace made the best smash burger in the area (and they do make a very good burger), but Biggie's is another level of good. Burger perfection, really. Now, let's talk about the fries. Biggie's serves "battered fries". And I have to confess, dear reader...for years I have been petitioning both the United Nations and the International Criminal Court in The Hague to deem battered fries a "Crime against humanity". I mean, it's already a fried potato. A perfectly-sliced, perfectly-fried potato with just the right amount of salt is the very essence of a proper French fry. Yet some heathens (or probably Communists, most likely) think that BATTERING a French fry might be a good idea?!? No. Just no, no, NO!!! With that off my chest, it both pains me and wounds my inner child to confess that - as far as "battered fries" go - the fries served at Biggie's were pretty tasty. They are uniquely spiced in a way that doesn't overwhelm the actual fry, but does add some nice flavor. I would absolutely love it, and probably thereafter nominate Mr. Biggie for a Nobel Peace Prize, if he instead served hand-cut, never-frozen fries. Because those would compliment the amazing burger quite well. Alas, that would also take a lot of time and probably be expensive to do it right (meaning cooking those fresh fries in peanut oil). So, I will forgive the indiscretion of these "battered fries". I guess. Moving on, the price makes this meal (burger, fries, and a coke) a downright bargain. $14 for the whole combo! To put that in proper perspective, a disgusting 1/4 Pounder with cheese meal at McDonald's will cost you...almost $14. That's like asking, "For $14 sir or madam, would you like one of the finest burger combos to ever grace the Oregon Territory, or would you instead prefer a burger combo so foul that if I gave it to my dog, HE would call animal control to report ME for animal cruelty?" Suffice it to say...the choice is both stark and clear. Now, since I was "food high" after finishing this scrumptious burger, I decided to treat myself to a shake too. I figured if the shake was even half as good as the burger, it would be a winner and a must-have. And slap my a*s and call me Shirley...the shake is as good as the burger! Mother of God!! I swear, it's like the man running this place descended from some galaxy far beyond Andromeda for the sole purpose of making my life better. Jesus died for your sins. And Mr. Biggie came from who-knows-where to vehemently convince you, "If eating Biggie's Burgers is a sin, I'd be perfectly OK sharing a 2-bedroom apartment in Gresham with none other than Lucifer himself." Speaking of Mr. Biggie (I don't know his real name), I spoke with him for a short bit and he seemed really cool. Jovial, rightly proud of his burgers, and all around a righteous dude. He struck me as the type of guy for whom you really, really want to see him succeed. And to succeed, people like YOU need to go to Biggie's Burger's ricky tick tick! Like, right NOW! Put your phone down (you've been on it too much today anyway), take a shower for the first time since Burger King was still a prince, and get your burger-loving self to Biggie's! I promise, you will be better for it. I will be better for it. The entire WORLD will be better for it. So, why are you still reading?!? Didn't you see where I already told you to go?? Shoo! Get goin'! ¡Vamos! There, that's better.

The service has been quite good. I'm a person who likes spicy food, but my ideal preference is food spiced well, giving it lots of flavor. Recently had the fish and chips: no clue what type of fish it was, but it tasted perfect. The batter on the fish wasn't too thick and it spiced perfectly. The fries were spiced well, the homemade tartar sauce with dill was excellent. I'm even a fan of the coleslaw: not too thick, fresh ingredients with a light sauce.
