Not buttery; flat flavor; and heavy, leaden texture. - Hash brown casserole: didn't expect sausage - who DOES that? As a vegetarian, this was a major yuck. My fault, should have asked, especially since none of the breakfast biscuits on the menu were vegetarian-friendly and my egg-n-cheese was a special order. We had Biscuitville 2x while in Winston Salem! We don't have them in Florida, and John lived in NC for a number of years and loves them. He introduced me to them many years ago and I am a huge fan too. They have a biscuit making window where you can watch them getting made- fresh, YES! They were hustling with the drive thru wrapped around the building- we parked to go inside and the wait for our food wasn't bad at all. It has been far too long since I've had a meal at Biscuitville! Of course, that's, my own fault for moving to Indiana, but that's another matter. I was back in NC visiting friends & family when it was time for a trip to Biscuitville! My fiancé, a native of Indiana, had never been, so I knew he'd need to be initiated into the world of scratch made fast food biscuits. I ordered my usual biscuits & gravy, while my fiancé went wild & ordered the Cuban biscuit. He was really happy with his choice. Based on an actual Cuban sandwich, the pork, cheese, & pickle worked together nicely to bring the flavors together. My B&G was just as good as in the past. I must admit once really missed the white sausage gravy. Nothing in Indiana compares. I can't wait to return to have more biscuits in my life! read more

Meh. Not a hue variety of biscuits that are appetizing. I bought two for breakfast (sausage egg & cheese), and a sausage with peppers. While its difficult to mess up a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, Biscuitville came very close to it as I tasted mostly the batter that didn't feel as if it had been 100% baked. The same went for the one with the red and green peppers- you tasted more of the oil than you did the actual peppers, along with a biscuit that wasn't baked all the way. The flavor was just meh. For $14 and change for just two biscuits by itself, I expected more. Thank goodness for Taco Bell nearby, yet that isn't much of an upgrade to Biscuitville. read more

I've been slowly providing a set of opportunities for this Biscuitville location to redeem itself. So far I'd tell you that's a work in progress. The last few biscuits I've gotten have been less like hockey pucks than those I spoke about in my previous review. But they're still not especially flaky or buttery, so the product continues to fall short of the baked offerings that other Biscuitville locations seem to have figured out. What goes in the biscuit lacks consistency. A few weeks back, I got one of those new Southern steak and cheese biscuits. The innards of the biscuit sandwich -- a spicy sauce, Pimiento cheese, pickle chip, and fried steak patty -- were evenly spread throughout in proportions that made for a delicious combination from start to finish. So I developed a measure of hope. And then this week I ordered the same biscuit, but in this instance I could find little sauce, while the Pimiento spread was all loaded to one side. Completely different and far less pleasing experience, all because the kitchen staff didn't take the time to assemble my order with steady hands. Better biscuit making and a more deliberate effort to making good dishes would go a long way. Biscuitville leadership: take a hard look at why other restaurants of yours are successful but this one rarely receives similarly great feedback. read more

Biscuitville food is what it is, and this store is standard in terms of food. However, if you go through the drive-through, I GUARANTEE they will fudge up your order every time. Whether it's leaving out an item or just putting a random thing in your bag, they offer it all! If you go to this store, I highly recommend you go inside. If you go through the drive-through, take the time to check your order, and I don't mean just glance into the bag to count the number of items. Unwrap anything wrapped and verify, verify, verify BEFORE you leave. If you leave and try to contact them after the fact about a wrong order, you'll be SOL (somewhat out of luck). read more

Third try at this location. Got in the drive thru line at 11:26 am on a Thursday. Exited at 11:32 am. Much improved over last visit, which took 22 minutes! But, my *two item order* was wrong. First item was the ultimate breakfast platter with bacon, it comes with a biscuit, ordered gravy as the side. Second item, a sausage biscuit sandwich. Always, always, ALWAYS check your order before leaving the drive thru! 1. The platter was missing the side of gravy. 2. The simple sausage biscuit sandwich somehow turned into a sausage & biscuit smothered in gravy. So...I let the lady know. She fixed the problem by giving me the sausage biscuit sandwich, and a cup of gravy for the missing side. I'm glad they fixed the mistake, but ideally no one should HAVE to check and make sure their order is right. My simple orders have been wrong 2 out of 3 times. I shudder to think what happens with large orders! The food itself is fine. That's the only reason I have gone back. I love the new location. The new design of the location is very farmhouse but they are damn efficient and oh. So. Good. I needed carbs. I'm not joking. When I don't get enough I get dizzy and light headed but that is what my diet demands of me. They have recently updated their menu to include more protein rich foods and that really help me that day but it was a big bonus that I got to add a biscuit and scrambled eggs for protein. Two platters that consisted of eggs that were almost like idk dense in your mouth. UNDERCOOKED biscuits and when you bit into them it was like eating goo. the bacon was super salty which I mean some salt is expected but this was like biting into a packet of salt, and fries/potato wedges those were pretty good. The visits are kind of hit-and-miss. Some days the food is really good, some days it is just kind of meh. I am a regular at this location as it is near the schools, and a stop off after dropping the kiddo off. Going inside though, there is a lot of customer service issues, or a friend of one of the employees (or even an ex-employee) is causing a huge distraction with the crew. You will be served in a somewhat timely manner, but the crew needs to push these people aside. If the CFA was closer, I would be going there more than here though as this is mostly a convenience for me. It is still good, but there are ways to improve. read more

Best experience! The line was wrapped around the building but it took only 5-10 mins to get totally through the line. I barely even had to stop at the food window, they were handing me my bag as I rolled up. Also, the people serving us were so nice and friendly! If you have ever been to This location, then you know how screwy the parking lot/drive-thru system is. The line of cars wishing to order must stop and allow those leaving the food window to pass through. Once there is enough room to pull up, without blocking those from leaving the food window, one can pull up and continue in the order line. It's hard to explain, and that is my point. I visited this location this morning and was waiting like Im supposed to, so as not to block cars from leaving but still keep my place in line. Lady behind me honks at me. I immediately think, "Oh Great. She doesn't understand how the drive-thru works and thinks I've just stopped here for fun." I figure that it won't be long before I can move up and then she'll see how it works. Nope. She honks again. She Then proceeds to get out of her car to tell me to move up. I tell her why I'm stopped. She gets ugly. Then, a "man" in a car about 4-5 cars back comes up to my window to tell me that I'm "blocking like 6 people from leaving." I tell him why I'm stopped. Then it escalates. The lady behind me starts calling me the B word. A worker comes out and tells everybody to calm down. I ask the worker to please explain to these two that I'm waiting like I'm supposed to. She refuses to do that and just keeps telling everyone to calm down. She did not handle the situation at all. I think she was afraid of the angry lady behind me. In any event, she did not handle this situation as she should have. She should have had my back and explained how the drive-thru works to them . I drove off without ordering and will never go there again. I just go to Clemmons from now on. read more
