Food Dry cornbread. Carrots souffle BANGIN! FRIED chicken seasoned well, crispy, moist. Fried okra good with a light batter. Service Ordered takeout and the food was ready at the expected time. Would try again, but am staying away from the cornbread.

Service was good but the food was meh. The ambiance was like a cafeteria and the tables were dirty. We had to ask someone to clean it up.

Hot chicken tenders with 1 side and cranberry sauce

I'm so glad this place was recommended to us. My husband was wanting some Nashville hot chicken. Although the spices on the hot chicken tenders were a bit overwhelming and more dry rub rather than a sauce that we were expecting, it still tasted good. My husband really liked the dressing with cranberry sauce. I just had regular chicken tenders and it was juicy, but the star of my plate was the sweet potatoes!! Best I've had. The jalapeño cornbread wasn't too dry and had a nice spice to it. Okra was cooked perfectly too. I could not believe how affordable they've been able to keep the price as well. The quality is worth more honestly, but don't tell them that so it stays affordable haha The place is small and at lunch time it was packed! Ao we ended up getting ours to go. Ordering is like a cafeteria style. Which I enjoy. I get to see how everything looks and decide if that's what I'm wanting or not. Service... perfect! The people here were so nice and all had a great personality. That's what will make you want to keep coming back. Unfortunately, we were only in the area for the weekend, but I I'll recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, and green beans

This is a really good meat and three restaurant in the Franklin area. This restaurant is associated with Hattie B's, so you can get Nashville hot chicken as well as other entrees such as pork chops, turkey and dressing, etc. Many hot sides and salads are on the menu, as well as an assortment of pies for dessert. I had the southern fried dark chicken quarter and it was some of the best fried chicken I have had in Tennessee. The mashed potatoes and green beans were good, but my favorite side was the fresh cucumber salad. My husband ordered Nashville chicken tenders, so he had a short wait for his food, but it came out hot and fresh. He enjoyed macaroni and cheese and a slice of chess pie with his meal. With friendly service and good food, we will look forward to visiting Bishop's again when we are in Franklin.

This place was 10/10 no questions asked. We had a large party, so we pretty much had the whole menu. There is nothing I wouldn't order again. The place was clean and neat. The prices were so reasonable

They still got it! Stopped in for lunch and it was delicious! Shared a Meat & Three Plate with my S.O.: Fish Almondine: delicious as always - perfectly fried and great tartar sauce! Generous portion. Mac & Cheese: It's okay, not the best I have had but okay. Pinto Beans: very good as always - good flavor and not greasy. Carrot Soufflé: a must! Delicious and well seasoned! Dinner Roll: Always good - fresh and delicious! All in all - another great visit! Busy as always and still great customer service!

It's very good and fast. It's not fast food, more like restaurant quality but served cafeteria style. I recommend the Cherry Cobbler.

My quarter rotisserie dark chicken was small but enough. The collard greens were the best I've ever had as were the fries! The cole slaw was delicious if you like the sweet kind. My husband's quarter fried chicken (white) was huge. I love everything fried is done so in beef tallow. Yum! The decor is rock n roll with personalized wallpaper of beer brands renamed to honor the chicken (see photo). The service was great. He took our order and answered our questions. This place is definitely not cracking my Top 25 places to eat in Franklin. But on a rainy Wednesday…read morenight, when the refrigerator is emptier than a college dorm room, this place will absolutely deliver some good old-fashioned comfort food. Walking in here is also a reminder that... I might be getting a little older. You know you're old when you look around the dining room and realize half the "decorations" are things you actually grew up using. I'm pretty sure my grandmother had three of those items in her kitchen. Back in the day they used to bring biscuits to the table immediately. Boom. Biscuit drop within 30 seconds. Now they wait until your food comes out. Honestly, that's probably a smart move. Their biscuits are pretty darn good, and there were many younger versions of me that would've eaten so many biscuits that my entrée would've needed a to-go box before I even started. For dinner I ordered the fried catfish, which was lightly breaded and cooked just right. Not greasy, not overdone just good Southern comfort. My sides were loaded hash browns and corn, which fit the rainy-day comfort food theme perfectly. My wife ordered the vegetable plate, and she really liked it... which is impressive. Service was good, although our waiter wasn't exactly hovering. In fact, my water glass stayed empty long enough that I briefly considered sending out a search party. After we finished eating, my wife did what wives do in this place, she wandered into the gift shop to "just look." If you've ever been here, you know that can be dangerous. Fortunately, she didn't find anything she absolutely had to have, which saved me about $47 in decorative rooster merchandise. Checkout took a little longer than expected due to some register confusion, so I stood there for about five minutes reflecting on life... and wondering how a place that sells this many biscuits can't move a checkout line faster. All that said, if it's a rainy day and you're craving some good comfort food, this place will do the trick.

We also enjoyed the Serrano & Jalapeño Bloody Mary (definitely brings the heat!), along with the Two to Mango Margarita and the returning Endless Summer Margarita, each had their own place and none disappointed! For brunch, I ordered the Southwest Breakfast Bowl. It was fresh, colorful, and packed with vegetables, making it feel nourishing without being heavy. The flavors worked well together, especially the combination of eggs, veggies, and southwest-inspired seasonings. My only suggestion would be adding a starch element, such as crispy breakfast potatoes or roasted sweet potatoes, to provide a little more texture and make the bowl feel more balanced and substantial. Even so, it was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. Our team was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the food and drink menu, making the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, a great spot for brunch with friends, especially if you're looking for creative cocktails, a lively atmosphere, and excellent hospitality.
