Now I'm only reviewing one item and the service I received here today. Which was awesome by the way. My friend came in to buy a breakfast burrito and decided to share half with me today. We asked the chef to cut it in half for us because we were sharing, and they cut it and gave us separate sauces. We pass by this location a lot but I haven't had a chance to try it. My friend betrayed me one day, and she tried this spot without me. Good thing she did because this burrito was delicious . It's hard to get us to try new places sometimes. After eating my piece I was a little upset I didn't get my own. Salsa was delicious and spicy and I love my spicy foods. The service was kind and brought cheer to my morning. Although it is a small establishment it was the cutest. I will def come again to try other things.

Came here for the breakfast burrito and wasn't disappointed - very nice and the salsa they give on the side went very well. My husband went with the breakfast sandwich which he enjoyed. The employee running the place was very nice and chatted to us while she made our breakfast. Took it to eat outside the State Capitol. Would definitely come back and try more items.

Stopped by Bistro Bravado and ordered the breakfast burrito, and it definitely delivered. The portion size was large and filling, especially for the price, which felt very fair for the quality and amount of food you get. Flavor wise, everything was on point. The burrito was savory and rich, and the salsa verde really brought it together adding a nice acidity and a bit of kick that cut through the richness perfectly. Service was top tier from start to finish. Friendly, efficient, and made the experience even better. The only downside is the space itself is a bit small, so it's definitely more of a grab and go or takeout spot rather than somewhere you'd linger. Overall, great food, great value, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back.

Omgggg had the best breakfast burrito made with love at Bistro Bravado! Just a block down walking distance from the Hyatt Regency with glowing Yelp reviews i had to check out!! Was greeted by 2 adorable children eating outside! Put in an order for the breakfast burrito. The interior is cozy and designed like the woods. Nice benches to sit on to wait for ur order and a relaxing water fountain. The chef made my burrito with love and i love how generous their salsa verde is!! I love salsa!! They also have other condiments like ketchup, cholulu hot sauce (yum) and tabasco. Enjoyed my burrito at the hotel! Plenty of egg, potatoes, and sausage!! Pairs well with the salsa verde and there is plenty for the whole burrito! I especially like love the crispy outside. Thank you so much and i def recommend!!

Really great spot for a quick bite to eat near the Capitol building. Plenty of healthy options and portions are great. We had the fajita salad and the chicken gyro bowl. Both were delicious! Everything tasted really fresh and the jalepeno ranch on the fajita salad had a little kick to it, which we enjoyed. I was very impressed with their compostable silverware. Food was prepared quickly and there was plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas.

EXCELLENT breakfast burritos. The salsa verde is also amazing and you can tell it's made fresh. I think it was $10 for probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had... soooo good

This was about a 6-7 min walk from my hotel, stopped by when I was on my morning walk and ordered a breakfast sandwich. They were out of the arugula which i was sad about but the sandwich was really good and their ingredients taste pretty fresh.

First time trying this place out! And the food and service was awesome! Got a breakfast burrito and it didn't disappoint! Salsa was good too

Definitely a hidden gem in the Downtown Sacramento area! This place is walkable distance to my work's building, so already gone multiple times! I ordered the breakfast burrito and this boy was big and just $10! The burrito came with scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, onion, bell peppers, and breakfast potatoes. If you're coming with a friend, I would definitely recommend sharing or just have an extra portion for leftovers! Service is great and everyone is super nice. I would definitely recommend for an easy, delicious, and cheap breakfast spot!

This was about a 4 min walk from my hotel. Its a small little place with no inside dining. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was hefty, full of delicious ingredients (eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon, sausage) and a large condiment cup of salsa verde. Most places give you tiny little cups of salsa, but not this place. Great burrito. Great price for $10. Thumbs up

Delicious, perfectly wrapped, breakfast burrito, yummy green salsa and fresh brewed coffee!

I wasn't asking for more meat, I wasn't asking to ADD meat, I was asking to simply change the more expensive meat for the cheaper lunch meat. Cashier standoffish, definitely didn't care about customer service, just a flat No build it yourself. Ok. No ty. Again, already a $20 sandwich. No thank you. When the sandwiches were ready, after at least 5 peoplewho came in behind us, another girl called out my name, but incorrect, no big deal. The ambiance is different from other sandwich spots in midtown. The chairs and tables are older and worn, and it's small inside, but it's also inside an old house that was converted into a restaurant. That alone makes this place unique. People hang out inside or outside with friends and enjoy the vibes. There's a real sense of community that the Sandwich Spot brings along with uniquely crafted sandwiches. The bread had just gone into the oven, so we had to wait about 10 minutes, but I can't complain because it was baked fresh to order. Overall, I thought the sandwich was very good, but honestly not quite as amazing as people online had made it out to be. It was definitely good, but I don't know if I'd be dying to go back when I think Ike's, Mr. Pickle's, Corti Bros, and maybe even Nugget or Sprouts make more interesting sandwiches. To me, those places use slightly higher quality ingredients as well, though maybe I just didn't order the best sandwich here. Overall, it was a good sandwich and a good experience. My expectations were probably just a little too high. I wouldn't be dying to come back but also wouldn't say no if someone wanted to go there for lunch.

You're probably not pulling out your laptop to do any work or catch a vibe there unless listening to music and sending emails in a sandwich restaurant is your thing. My go-to order is the Amuna's Tuna on Dutch crunch with everything on it except jalapeños. If you're feeling a little lucky, you can get a combo meal with chips and a drink. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll.
