    Breakfast Burrito
    Karla M.

Bistro Bravado is quality take-out conveniently located across the street from the Capitol. Somone recommended their breakfast burrito, saying it was in their all-time Top Ten. As a breakfast burrito connoisseur, I had to give it a try. I ordered online, and it was ready for pick-up in 10 minutes. The breakfast burrito had eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, cheese, and fajita veggies in a grilled flour tortilla. It was very good, and well prepared. It rivaled breakfast burritos I've had from good restaurants. What really set it off, is that it was grilled, and served with homemade green salsa. My friend had their grilled cheese, and recommends it as well. Staff was friendly, and they have a nice patio outside with tables, and chairs. The best way I can describe their food is unexpected restaurant quality from a small take-out café.

Went on a Saturday, mid morning. It was busy. There was one guy taking orders and preparing the. There were easily 15 clients who went in all at once. He was busy. The sandwich was okay. Not worth the 20mims wait.

Now I'm only reviewing one item and the service I received here today. Which was awesome by the way. My friend came in to buy a breakfast burrito and decided to share half with me today. We asked the chef to cut it in half for us because we were sharing, and they cut it and gave us separate sauces. We pass by this location a lot but I haven't had a chance to try it. My friend betrayed me one day, and she tried this spot without me. Good thing she did because this burrito was delicious . It's hard to get us to try new places sometimes. After eating my piece I was a little upset I didn't get my own. Salsa was delicious and spicy and I love my spicy foods. The service was kind and brought cheer to my morning. Although it is a small establishment it was the cutest. I will def come again to try other things.

Stopped by Bistro Bravado and ordered the breakfast burrito, and it definitely delivered. The portion size was large and filling, especially for the price, which felt very fair for the quality and amount of food you get. Flavor wise, everything was on point. The burrito was savory and rich, and the salsa verde really brought it together adding a nice acidity and a bit of kick that cut through the richness perfectly. Service was top tier from start to finish. Friendly, efficient, and made the experience even better. The only downside is the space itself is a bit small, so it's definitely more of a grab and go or takeout spot rather than somewhere you'd linger. Overall, great food, great value, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back.

I feel like five stars not even enough. I had a breakfast sandwich mind you I ordered the breakfast sandwich at 2:30. I didn't eat that breakfast sandwich until midnight. It was delicious at midnight so if I would've ate that breakfast sandwich at 2:30 it would've been off the charts. Most of the reviews of that I read was about the burrito. The cook told me how he does everything that guy is amazing very friendly will definitely be going back.

Came here for the breakfast burrito and wasn't disappointed - very nice and the salsa they give on the side went very well. My husband went with the breakfast sandwich which he enjoyed. The employee running the place was very nice and chatted to us while she made our breakfast. Took it to eat outside the State Capitol. Would definitely come back and try more items.

Omgggg had the best breakfast burrito made with love at Bistro Bravado! Just a block down walking distance from the Hyatt Regency with glowing Yelp reviews i had to check out!! Was greeted by 2 adorable children eating outside! Put in an order for the breakfast burrito. The interior is cozy and designed like the woods. Nice benches to sit on to wait for ur order and a relaxing water fountain. The chef made my burrito with love and i love how generous their salsa verde is!! I love salsa!! They also have other condiments like ketchup, cholulu hot sauce (yum) and tabasco. Enjoyed my burrito at the hotel! Plenty of egg, potatoes, and sausage!! Pairs well with the salsa verde and there is plenty for the whole burrito! I especially like love the crispy outside. Thank you so much and i def recommend!!

This place is tucked in between other businesses in a small building in the heart of Downtown Sacramento. It is a cute shop that sells breakfast and lunch items as well as some drip coffee. You order at the counter and wait off to the side until they make your order. You can watch them as they put together your food, too! I decided to go in and try one of their sandwiches, the chicken BLT. When I went in I was immediately greeted by the worker while also helping other customers at the counter. It is a very small shop, so I can imagine it getting crazy during lunch hour. I did come in at 12:30pm, so I was a bit surprised there weren't more people. I watched him make my sandwich and he put a lot of care into the whole process. The chicken BLT was so delicious. It came on a toasted rosemary bread, hickory bacon, and the chicken was still juicy. Each bite had so many flavor profiles. The chicken was well seasoned and the bacon was so good. And for the downtown prices, the sandwich was rather large! I had their breakfast burrito as well on a different day and that was also good. But the BLT definitely made me a fan of this shop. I am excited to try their other menu items. I will say be prepared to wait a bit if there's a lot of people. The worker who made my sandwich was the only one working at the time and he was not only making the food, but also handling the register and answering the phone without even breaking a sweat. Excellent job!!

Really great spot for a quick bite to eat near the Capitol building. Plenty of healthy options and portions are great. We had the fajita salad and the chicken gyro bowl. Both were delicious! Everything tasted really fresh and the jalepeno ranch on the fajita salad had a little kick to it, which we enjoyed. I was very impressed with their compostable silverware. Food was prepared quickly and there was plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas.

This was about a 6-7 min walk from my hotel, stopped by when I was on my morning walk and ordered a breakfast sandwich. They were out of the arugula which i was sad about but the sandwich was really good and their ingredients taste pretty fresh.

EXCELLENT breakfast burritos. The salsa verde is also amazing and you can tell it's made fresh. I think it was $10 for probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had... soooo good

Like most restaurants these days, and especially restaurants in midtown, you're looking at $15-$20 for a sandwich and combo. It's pricey.

I'm likely in the minority in my opinion, but bear with me. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4, and…read moresticking with a 3 because this shop just didn't measure up ... to me. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll. For more adventurous sandwich people, go for broke! This is your place!

We sat at the bar. Wife and I each had the salmon. She had the beet salad. I had sweet potatoes and broccoli. Son had the brisket with Mac & cheese. Salmon was perfectly cooked. Sweet potatoes were great. Beet salad was delicious. Broccoli was unremarkable, but not bad. Brisket and Mac was amazing. Couple of service hiccups which were quickly and politely remedied. Would definitely return when in Sacramento.

Got a combo meal with BBQ chicken, mac n' cheese an a warm bean medley. It was yummy. Bambie got trio of salads, I tasted all. The beets were my favorite. Generous portions. Bambie brought 50% of her food home in a take out box. I gobbled all of the food on my full plate. The employees are nice. The prices are amazingly affordable. I plan to return soon to eat a hamburger or maybe a pizza or maybe both.
