Came here for the breakfast burrito and wasn't disappointed - very nice and the salsa they give on the side went very well. My husband went with the breakfast sandwich which he enjoyed. The employee running the place was very nice and chatted to us while she made our breakfast. Took it to eat outside the State Capitol. Would definitely come back and try more items.

EXCELLENT breakfast burritos. The salsa verde is also amazing and you can tell it's made fresh. I think it was $10 for probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had... soooo good

Stopped by Bistro Bravado and ordered the breakfast burrito, and it definitely delivered. The portion size was large and filling, especially for the price, which felt very fair for the quality and amount of food you get. Flavor wise, everything was on point. The burrito was savory and rich, and the salsa verde really brought it together adding a nice acidity and a bit of kick that cut through the richness perfectly. Service was top tier from start to finish. Friendly, efficient, and made the experience even better. The only downside is the space itself is a bit small, so it's definitely more of a grab and go or takeout spot rather than somewhere you'd linger. Overall, great food, great value, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back.

First time trying this place out! And the food and service was awesome! Got a breakfast burrito and it didn't disappoint! Salsa was good too

Really great spot for a quick bite to eat near the Capitol building. Plenty of healthy options and portions are great. We had the fajita salad and the chicken gyro bowl. Both were delicious! Everything tasted really fresh and the jalepeno ranch on the fajita salad had a little kick to it, which we enjoyed. I was very impressed with their compostable silverware. Food was prepared quickly and there was plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas.

Omgggg had the best breakfast burrito made with love at Bistro Bravado! Just a block down walking distance from the Hyatt Regency with glowing Yelp reviews i had to check out!! Was greeted by 2 adorable children eating outside! Put in an order for the breakfast burrito. The interior is cozy and designed like the woods. Nice benches to sit on to wait for ur order and a relaxing water fountain. The chef made my burrito with love and i love how generous their salsa verde is!! I love salsa!! They also have other condiments like ketchup, cholulu hot sauce (yum) and tabasco. Enjoyed my burrito at the hotel! Plenty of egg, potatoes, and sausage!! Pairs well with the salsa verde and there is plenty for the whole burrito! I especially like love the crispy outside. Thank you so much and i def recommend!!

This was about a 6-7 min walk from my hotel, stopped by when I was on my morning walk and ordered a breakfast sandwich. They were out of the arugula which i was sad about but the sandwich was really good and their ingredients taste pretty fresh.

This was about a 4 min walk from my hotel. Its a small little place with no inside dining. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was hefty, full of delicious ingredients (eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon, sausage) and a large condiment cup of salsa verde. Most places give you tiny little cups of salsa, but not this place. Great burrito. Great price for $10. Thumbs up

Definitely a hidden gem in the Downtown Sacramento area! This place is walkable distance to my work's building, so already gone multiple times! I ordered the breakfast burrito and this boy was big and just $10! The burrito came with scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, onion, bell peppers, and breakfast potatoes. If you're coming with a friend, I would definitely recommend sharing or just have an extra portion for leftovers! Service is great and everyone is super nice. I would definitely recommend for an easy, delicious, and cheap breakfast spot!

It was not only one early but has better reviews than any other breakfast spot around us! The food was fresh and delicious! Made to order the service was friendly and accommodating, the space is cute and inviting! Breakfast sandwiches was sooooo yummy! The bacon in both the burrito and sandwich was crispy and scrumptious and stayed that way! 10/10!

Glad to have another restaurant in downtown Sacramento. The menu for lunch is small, but has mighty options. I opted for the chicken BLT, which was filling and tasty. I also got a Fanta, but because they werent cold chose the Sprite, only to have one of the owners give me both due to the inconvenience. It shows the great attention to customer satisfaction they offer. It is small inside with only bench seating, but hopefully as the warmer weather comes along they'll have patio seating outside.

I ordered carryout and had a great experience. I'm always on search for a great breakfast burrito. And I thought theirs was really good. It's a small shop and at the time, one guy was running everything--but he was very kind and had my burrito ready pretty quickly. The burrito was pretty flavorful. Had a combination of different meats. I do wish the potatoes were a little more crispy but the flavor was good and the burrito was grilled, so you got that nice crisp on the tortilla. I'd recommend if you happen to be in the area.

My coworker bought my other coworker and I a breakfast burrito and we split it. Half a burrito with their salsa is a perfect portion. It was so yummy.

Their ravioli is pretty famous and reminds me of an upgraded version of the nostalgic soft, square beef raviolis that I grew up eating. If you don't want to commit to the entire box of take-home ravioli, you can buy it by smaller tubs from the deli. After 20-30 mins, your sandwich should be ready for pickup. The workers there are so friendly and provide great service. They genuinely seem to like their jobs. We got one guy helping us out from one end of the deli to the other end and he was so patient and happy the entire time. There was a sweet lady handing out cheese samples as well. Everything I tried was so delicious. I especially loved how thin they slice the charcuterie meats where they are translucent when held up to the light. They have a decent number of cash register stations taking orders. They have an extremely large menu. I counted 18 different Banh mi variations, and lots of other things For my starter, I wanted to try the. Pate chaud, which is pate in a puff pastry, but unfortunately, they were out. I'm not going to take off any stars or anything, because hey, misunderstandings happen, and it was still an amazing sandwich. They gave me a number, and it was a short wait for my sandwich. Between the registers and the people making the sandwiches in back, it's like an assembly line operation. They are quick, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The sandwich was very large, The bread was still warm. I took the sandwich home, but I ate the bao bun on the way home. It was very good. The bun had a good consistency, and the chicken was excellent. Seasoned well, just the right amount of breading, and tender on the inside. When I got the banh mi home, that's when I discovered the mixup. But I enjoyed it just as much. The egg was fluffy, and the pork was excellent. . It was a little bit sweet, like a Char siu. The pork was also very tender. The veggies were fresh. There was generous Portions. I was only going to eat half, but it was so good, I ended up eating the whole thing. The bun, however, was enormous, so the overall experience was like eating a fluffy bread pillow with a whisper of sandwich somewhere in the middle. Honestly, the sandwich felt a bit like a mime, the idea of a sandwich was there, but the substance was invisible. I even wondered if maybe the fillings weren't hungry themselves. By the end I felt less like I had eaten lunch and more like I had participated in a sandwich-themed illusion. Sadly, it looks like I'm Togo's-bound from here on out. The workers have always been helpful and answered any questions about the menu or even helped with recommendations. The ambiance isn't anything special. You're probably not pulling out your laptop to do any work or catch a vibe there unless listening to music and sending emails in a sandwich restaurant is your thing. My go-to order is the Amuna's Tuna on Dutch crunch with everything on it except jalapeños. If you're feeling a little lucky, you can get a combo meal with chips and a drink. They also sell big cookies. You also get a nice caramel apple sucker candy with your order. Like most restaurants these days, and especially restaurants in midtown, you're looking at $15-$20 for a sandwich and combo. It's pricey.

I'm likely in the minority in my opinion, but bear with me. I'm torn between a 3 and a 4, and…read moresticking with a 3 because this shop just didn't measure up ... to me. For starters, Ike's has its own way of doing things: plain mayo is not their thing. Only way to get plain mayo on a sandwich is to get lucky that there's a smidgen still left in a jar in the fridge after they prepare their house spread. They mix GARLIC and gawd knows what else for spices to make their Ike's sauce, so allergies beware. They offer plain mustard, but not plain mayo? For seconds, the sandwich bread is not up to the challenge of holding together the mountain of fillings inside. Pics prove my point. I want to eat a sandwich with my hands, not a plastic fork (or a shovel). And I don't want to wear it, not in public. Proportions, people! One size does not fit all. Now, in fairness, the meat, cheese, lettuce and tomato were fresh, chilled, and flavorful. However, IMHO $2.00+ to add equivalent of half an avocado is robbery when a whole avocado is $1 in the market. Fortunately I arrived when there wasn't another person in the store so I was able order up a plain ham and cheese sub with L, T, and A. The counter person was patient as I attempted to navigate the menu board. I communicated my wish for a simple sandwich and it arrived, albeit ridiculously overstuffed and above my budget expectations. Props for kindness and understanding. My first visit to any shop is always testing how well they do basics. So far, I'm not an Ike's fan. I'm no newcomer to sub sandwiches. At 82, and being a Massachusetts native, I've been a sub girl for at least 75 years, ever since I could wrap my fingers around the perfect sub roll.
