I was so excited to stumble into Bitty & Beau. I created an Oreo Frappe with Oat Milk. It was delicious, creamy, and not super sweet. I stumbled upon this location today while I was waiting for my Solidcore class to begin. It's a very cute spot in the busy Southend area. I was thrilled to find this spot but there was one issue with my experience. The young man at the counter did not say anything when I approached the counter. It turned into a weird stare-off as I was waiting for him to say "hello", "can I take your order?"...anything. It didn't happen so I proceeded to order. I drink matcha quite often and I was truly impressed by the flavor and the taste. It was easily one of the best I've had in a very long time. The young lady that fulfilled my order was very pleasant and customer friendly...overall it was a decent experience. What an amazing concept for a coffee shop. It's a spacious coffee shop in the middle of Historic South End, right by the light rail. There's plenty of space for the whole crew to come and join you. I came here because I will always support inclusion and any company that provides opportunity for those with intellectual disabilities. That's a that holds a close place to my heart. This was my first time trying Bitty and Beau's, and it was long overdue. My deterrent, it's not the easiest place to get to due to limited parking. Great place for coffee with great atmosphere! Everyone is super friendly and the system of ordering and calling out your card is super cute! I typically get an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and I've been happy with this simple choice every time I typically come here to do work on my laptop and have had no issues with Wi-Fi connectivity using the password at the register. Bathrooms a bit of a walk through the back of the shop down a few hallways in shared space with the other shops. Only downside is free parking options are limited and the space does fill up quickly, leaving few seats open inside the coffee shop. Not a major issue if you are okay with walking and sitting outside in another space-which there are a bunch of options in South End! read more

The location is perfect as there are things to do around within walking distance. There is plenty of affordable street parking, but it gets busy so you might want to plan ahead as it might take you a little bit of time finding a spot. #LocalCoffee is the best coffee. I selected Bitty and Beau's as a meetup with a Yelp friend, arriving a little bit early. I was able to order a latte with extra shot (they counter person did not know what a cortado is). They're doing something innovative rather than names - playing cards. So I listened out for the Jack of Diamonds to be shouted and then went to pick up my coffee. There are not too many tables here and as the place started to fill up at 10am on Saturday, the crowd of folks waiting for coffee got a bit deeper. Everyone's wearing their masks but social distancing is a challenge. It also starts getting a bit louder when it's full, enough so that they have a small megaphone for calling out playing cards to pick up their orders. Some small tops and some two tops along the wall are great for laptop work but again, the place fills up and if you're like me, you're going to start feeling guilty for taking up a table after just one coffee. The latte was very good, certainly better than the green siren people. And the muffin my friend had looked excellent. Definitely worthy of returning here on a less busy day. It's also a great location, and very well set up inside and out I ordered a latte, and after ordering they give you a playing card to pick up your order down the counter. There was a little mix up between my order and the one following it with the cards, but we got everything straightened out and my coffee was delivered and I was on my way. The coffee itself was fine, not the best latte ever, but far from the worst. They also have pastries and a ton of merch for sale inside. Such a cozy, heartwarming spot to get a nice cup of coffee! I brought my parents and fiancé on a Sunday morning and was immediately greeted a kind welcome from one of the employees who handed us a card with some background info about Bitty and Beau's Coffee. Kyle was very friendly when he took our order and made sure each of our orders was correct. Once we paid, we were given a laminated playing card as our call out number - what a cute idea! The wait wasn't too long considering there were a good amount of people ahead of us. I ordered an iced latte with toasted marshmallow flavor and the rest ordered a regular coffee with hazelnut or no flavoring. We all enjoyed our drinks, took a nice picture in front of their mural, and will definitely be coming back! I originally found out about this Charlotte opening because I follow the Williams Syndrome Association on IG who mentioned that this location hired 2 individuals with WS. I love this hiring process (and their surprise congratulations hire videos ) especially since my niece has WS so it's nice to know that there are opportunities like this for her. read more

I got an iced pumpkin spice oat milk latte and I loved that it wasn't too sweet- just right! I was curious about this place and the cashier was a lil book full of knowledge. I was given a card that has their insta & Facebook. On it read a quote "80% of people with disabilities are unemployed". This concept is working to change that statistic and I loved that. We were fortunate to visit when they were celebrating their one year anniversary, but I imagine anyone would have a five star experience here. One of these should be in every city! The concept is beautiful plus the coffee is delicious! We came here to try the Frozen Hot Chocolate after seeing it on QC Mornings. It was well with the 25 minute ride and $3 for parking! Upon entering, we were promptly greeted. We placed our order and enjoyed some conversation with the barista. I ordered a regular because I wasn't sure if I would like it. That was a mistake! It was chocolatey, creamy, and delicious . It was almost like tasting raw brownie mix.
