Burger is as small as a mc double, the patty about the same thickness very thin. Chili is cold and from a can. You can tell by the taste of the meat it's from a can and the cheese didn't melt. Cook is rude but the young lady taking the order was great. Other than that we gave it a try 'cause we wanted to explore but you're better off going across the street to Pete's Burger. At least you can tell that their chili is made from scratch and the food is better quality. From our experience I wouldn't repeat. read more

What a wonderful little burger stand in Bixby! I was driving by and saw a line of folks standing outside and assumed it must be a decent burger here. There were only 2 people hustling and bustling inside. 1 man cooking and 1 man taking the orders. The gentleman taking the order was so nice. And holy cow, the food came out quick. So I've seen and passed by this spot a bunch of times and decided it was time to stop by. Say hello to Bixby Classic Burger; a literal corner burger joint. It's menu is simple, but delicious...burgers, hot dogs, fries, and fountain drinks. For my first visit, I opted for the Bixby Double Combo. It came with a Double Cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. I chose Dr. Pepper for my drink. The burger was really good. The patties were cooked up hot and fresh with that classic, yet timeless small neighborhood burger joint taste. They were juicy and flavorful. The cheese was meaty and really yummy. One of my favorite parts of cheeseburgers is the cheese-paper. I just love scraping the melted cheese off the paper! There's something indescribable yet so satisfying about it. Never gets old! The fries were warm, crispy, fresh, salty, and very good. My Dr. Pepper provided a good sweetness to balance out all the salty savory from the burg and fries. Bixby Classic Burger was a great call for a Friday lunch. Totally looking forward to going back to try all the Hot Dogs on the Specialty Hot Dogs Menu. So cool that they're all Long Beach themed, too! read more

We were talking about lunch options when driving by and decided we should go here after we run our errands. I took a photo of the menu and called our order in. 20 minutes later our meal was waiting for us. My pop's got the double and likes it better than InO because the burger is softer, he has old man teeth issues. My mom and I got cheese burger w/grilled onions. It was good but we thought the bread was big in relation to the meat. Fries were great. We asked for lightly salted and they came that way. On the Chilli Fries, for our tastes we'll ask for easy chilli next time. Their regular amount is too much for our family. We'll be back, especially for the hotdogs. I met so many people in line who had been waiting for this place to open! Yummy burgers! Super nice owner, easily accommodated our special requests. We were 3rd in line - line moved quickly and wait was fast just before noon. Line continued to grow after we left. We got 2 - Doubles, 1 - hamburger, 1 - Chili Cheese Fries & 1 French Fry for under $20. Chili Cheese Fries were a lot and this more than fed 3 of us. Today at work my coworkers & I decided that we were going to try out the hamburger joint, Classic Bixby Burger. We ordered combo #2 which is the cheeseburger soda and fry, a chili cheese hotdog and a cheeseburger. Order was to go: hamburgers and chili dog were made within 10 minutes or so. The customer service was excellent. Raul is very kind. Even though I forgot to order an extra order of fries I called and once I returned RAUL had already had them packaged and ready to go. I'd been waiting for this place to open since last year. It's a small shack by the 99c Store on the corner of Carson and Orange. I went there last weekend. Pretty simple menu: burgers, hot dogs, chili and fries, and sodas (no shakes). I ordered a Bixby Double $5 with grilled onions and a Long Beach hot dog $4.25 (chili, onions and mustard). I waited to get home to try them. Burger was solid, smaller than an InNOut double-double but good bun, nice burger flavor, good melted cheese and sweet grilled onions. Hot dog was tasty, although my lady thought the meat tasted like soy...doubtful but anyways... nice round flavor from chili/onions/mustard but dog texture was a bit grainy, and my lady was right, the dog itself is a pretty light/subtle flavor (not smoky or spicy). Raul (the owner I believe) was very friendly and said they had their lease in October but weren't able to open, but finally did last Saturday (on 6/5/2021). Good for them. Chili, burgers, dogs were all solid, I'll be back to try them again. I hope they succeed! Would be fun to see some milkshakes on the menu. read more

I had been driving by this burger stand for months on end and seeing large lines. Even the kids from the neighboring schools line up here after school getting food. Walked up and ordered. They hand you a ticket with your order number on it and then you wait for your food. When your food is ready, they check the ticket number, and then hand you your bag of food. The burger was good. Not greasy. They put a spread on the bottom bun, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I removed the tomato and onion - I ordered a plain burger but ended up with the fixings anyway. The fries were also good. Not mushy and a good amount in the bag. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Overall, a good experience! read more
