Well, the service was not good. It was a party of two ordered a hamburger and personal pizza and a salad. Had a to go order and got there at the scheduled time and they told me they were packing up my order. I sat down for 8 mins waiting for them to call my name which they never did. So I walk back up and of course my food was already packaged and just sitting there, even though they knew I was already there. I get home and realized they forgot my pizookie and ice cream. I'm not surprised their liquor license was suspended. On multiple occasions, my sister was served alcohol without being asked for ID while I stepped away to the restroom. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he brushed it off and simply comped my bill instead of addressing the seriousness of serving someone underage. The manager wearing a vest appeared unconcerned about the violation. On another visit, I was sitting at the bar and accidentally hit my chest on the counter. After I said that I was hurt, I was asked to leave. Additionally, Marie L served me without requesting identification. When I raised this concern with the same manager, he responded, "That's not the issue right now," rather than acknowledging the problem. My pizza, even though I ordered it with lots of sauce and lots of cheese and meatballs I mean I ordered a large and what I got was a medium sized pizza and it was drier than a popcorn fart. There was only enough sauce to color the dough and there wasn't even enough cheese I mean to qualify it as a pizza. Far from the pizzas I used to get from them back in the '70s. Totally disappointed and won't order from them again nor do I recommend them at all! I mean there's no sauce well whatever sauce There is is like soaked into the bread and there's no cheese on it either except for there's like some strands of some weird hard cheese that you can't even eat.... If it's mozzarella it's certainly artificial mozzarella. There's no tomatoes in the sauce there's no sauce for there to be tomatoes in! I saw them put in the comments please extra sauce and they had checked for extra cheese well not extra cheese but they just checked mozzarella cheese because there wasn't an extra treat cheese option nor were there extra sauce options they set it in the comments. What was the most disgusting pizza I've ever eaten after them ranting and raving about how great this pizza was back when they had just gotten out of high school back in 1977 how they drove over an hour to eat pizza here well not at the Temecula location but at the original location. Absolutely terrible waited 15-20 after being told it would be 5 minutes. Ordered drinks and sodas took another 15 minutes entrees were salmon dishes a couple burgers and some pasta dishes. Another hour later we are served . Salmon was cold broccoli and mashed potato's cold , burger was rare had char flavor. So disappointed we took family visiting there . I called back and spike to someone who said he was the manager and he was very nice and said he would send to my email a gift card to replace missing food. He said if I didn't get it by that night to call back tomorrow. Well it didn't come so I called the next day and again put on hold and then hung up on. Called again and was told that the name the guy gave me as manager didn't work there. Great right? I have came here in the past but the experience last night was so terrible I never want to go back. It all started when we walked in with the hostess. We asked for a table she said nothing looked at her computer screen for a minute and then started walking away and said "oh yall can follow me" she also didn't greet us or bring us silverware. Our waitress also sucked she checked on us rarely even though it was slow but at least she had a way better attitude than the hostess. The food also was subpar. Presentation looked like it was just thrown onto the plate with zero care. Our appetizer never arrived and the salad was missing its crouton. Went here at 345pm Saturday 4-25-25 and this was one of the worse experiences we had at this BJs. The server was nice however the time to get our appetizer was 25 min or longer and it was extremely over cooked but the server wasnt around to tell. Our main entree finally came after an additional 25 min and one of them was terrible. Our 1st server left and another took over, it took another 15 min for him to come by, no water refills,no napkins. The bathrooms were terribly dirty with trash all over the floor and in the sink . The manager never came by to talk to so needless to say we won't be back to this location for sometime if at all. Its ashame because Menifee doesn't have any good restaurants to go to , so until they do, i guess we will head to Temecula. read more

Haven't been to a BJs In a long time... but Sunday lunch with Mom lead us to her favorite spot in Menifee. The blacked salmon surprised me with its freshness and flavor. The tavern pizza was not my vibe, but wasn't greasy or dull of flavor. What took the experience to the next level was the quality of service. The young lady who seated us didn't make us wait around, was intentional about making us feel welcome and had a great smile. We had an amazing conversation with one of the guys bussing the table (to call him a busboy would be a disservice in my view, he immigrated here from Costa Rica and is close to retirement... so inspirational). But the star of the day was Zoe. A smile that warmed and welcomed, conversation that made you feel like you were at her family table, and constant attention without seeming to be bothered or overworked. I was so impressed by this team that my view of BJs has changed from just beer and pizookies eatery to a place that makes me feel at home. And that's what's all about! Just ask Mom. read more

My husband and I used to go to this BJ's restaurant a lot, before, during and after COVID. It was always consistently good and the prices were fair. Now we've been there a couple of times recently and the only thing that's the same about the place is the name. We both had rib dinners so we're talking about almost $40.00 each dinner. My husband picked the food up since I've been ill, going out isn't an option right now. We thought we would treat ourselves to a nice dinner. When my husband arrived to pick up our food there was only 1 person in the front, so the pick up took a lot of time, there were people in the back, the place was almost empty, yet he had to wait a very long time for an order that was already called in. The front staff person was unpleasant, rude, unfriendly, confused and didn't make any effort to at least be polite. When we opened up our food bags the spare ribs were looked OK but the side dishes were not edible at all. The asparagus looked like it was cooked early in the day, reheated over and over, it was 80% BLACK with a bit of green. I'm sure it was rotten and if I had tried to eat it most likely it would have landed me in the ER.( I've been battling cancer and if I eat rotten food it will most likely kill me). The sweet potato fries were not any better, limp, greasy , ice cold. We live about 10 minutes away so the food didn't get that way from a long travel back to our home and the black asparagus was so bad, it looked like something that was sitting in a dumpster. We won't go back, I bet I won't even get an apology because this usually what happens to places that have given up and squeezing money out customers for the last bit of money before giving it up, locking their doors for good. We were royally ripped off, there's no way food could look that awful if anyone cared. If you decide to try this place anyway, make sure you are prepared for any type of food borne illness and you're in the mood to throw your hard earned money away. Yes, it's difficult to keep any restaurant open these days, hire decent staff and pay for fresh food that may get tossed if not used. It's a tough business but don't steal from your customers and be honest. I could have become extremely ill if I tried to eat "food" that was inedible but most people wouldn't have tried just like me. This used to be a good place to eat and we've tried to give this place a 2nd chance but now we are finished. $80.00 plus tax would have bought us at least a couple of nights of yummy homemade food, we work hard for every dollar we bring home. What BJ's gave us in return was horrible service , horrible food and a trip to the hospital for me if I took a small taste of the rot they call "dinner". Be careful of where you eat, especially if you have young children or if you're autoimmune compromised. A healthy person would have probably become ill from eating BJ's rotted out food. read more

We went for lunch and there were quite a few customers but no wait. Service was excellent from hostess to server. I ordered deep dish pizza with a salad and bleu cheese dressing. My wife ordered a BJ's Brewhouse bowl. Ambiance was nice plenty of televisions with a variety of sports but able to carry on a conversation without straining to hear. Salad was good and an adequate portion size. My deep dish had was excellent perfect size. Good balance of toppings. My wife loved her bowl, tasty and light and again balanced flavors. Of the comments from our table was, "I'm hungry, this food is taking forever". I had reminded our table-mates that, we were seated with menus a full 15 minutes before our server came to the table to introduce herself and take our drink order, now just 10 minutes remaining on the happy hour menu. We ordered two beers each and she, the server, looked at us with 'crazy eyes', as if we were trying to get away with something. Luckily she returned with our drinks swiftly and we ordered appetizers from the happy hour menu with just a moment remaining. I could tell the server did not like her job, but REALLY enjoyed getting good tips as she portrayed a very non-genuine interest in our visit. The Dodger/Mets game #3 was playing on all of the TVs and the bar area was just starting to get full as our food came to the table. Our individual pizza came out less 'done' than we like and both of the steaks came out over-cooked medium-well vice medium rare. We were too hungry to complain. The only thing exceptional was the chimichurri sauce that came with our steak and fries dinner. The rest of the meal was very much underwhelming so we took what was left home to feed our dogs.
