We came in on Saturday afternoon around 2:30. We were with a reserved party, so no wait time. Our server was great! Handled our table well for the amount of people. They gave the small kids a complimentary appetizer plate. Which is great to hold them over until their food comes. I wanted to order a the prime rib dip but they were out of prime rib :( I settled in the bistro burger. It actually wasn't bad! I don't expect great food when coming here, but it was definitely better than I expected. It was cooked good and had a really nice char on it. A few times I've been in and they are out of Ahi tuna; However, if you come in and just get pazookies on Tuesday when they have the deal, then it's great!! We came here on Friday night the 13th a few days ago for dinner. They had a 50 minute wait with nobody waiting in the lobby, must've been short staffed. We asked if they had open seating in the bar area, and they did. We got a tall 4 top when this family got up. We had Cassandra help us out and she was awesome. The menu is a lot smaller now, which is a good thing, it was like a book before. There's still a ton of good options even beyond the pizza. We had 3 apps, calamari, avocado eggrolls (a unique spin on this item) chips with guacamole/salsa. Then we got tri tip salad, & crusted chicken too. This is our late night spot to have a late dinner or a late night drink and a snack. After our last experience we weren't sure we were going to give them another chance because we were so disappointed. However we were wanting one of their pizzas. We sat at the bar and were so happy to see our favorite bartenders and servers there! We were greeted with a smile and immediately asked what we would like to drink while Ram was busy making a drink. We placed our order and let the bartender know our experience the last time we were there and let him know that I had spoken with Grant over the phone and asked if he was in so I could introduce myself and thank him for following up on my previous review. We placed our food order and enjoyed our drinks. The margaritas were delicious and the boba in the white peach margarita was so good and it added to the flavor of the drink. We ordered the lemon pepper wings and they came out smoking hot and oh so delicious! My only complaint is that the ranch served with the wings is not nearly enough for the amount of wings. But the were so delicious and the flavor is on point that you really don't need ranch. We ordered the BJ's favorite pizza but it came out cold. We informed Ty our other favorite bartender and he made sure to get a new one ordered for us. Grant came out and apologized and although that wasn't really necessary it was so nice to see a manager care to come out and speak with their customers. When the pizza came out Grant personally delivered the pizza himself. Now that's amazing customer service! He didn't have to do that but to take the time to hand deliver an order to a customer just shows that he cares about his customers! Now onto dessert..... we always get the chocolate chip pazookie but both Ram & Ty highly recommended the new cinnamon roll pazookie so we had to give it a try! Let me tell you it did not disappoint! This is our new favorite pazookie! I hope they don't take it away because it is the best one next to the original chocolate chip! Daniel L. was an exceptional server, friendly, funny, and attentive. Food was average: Asian Chopped Salad and boneless Buffalo wings with blue cheese 7/10. My water tasted like dirty tap water, even after squeezing lots of lemon in it. Our friends thought their rootbeer glazed wings were too sweet. It was extremely loud and cold in there. I have to say BJ's has always been our celebration place. My husband had my 50th birthday there. We have celebrated his birthday there as well as many of our kids birthdays too. We just celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday last night. The experience was awful. They were out of the appetizer we had chosen, the mac n cheese balls. That wasn't told to us until after we ordered our dinner so we elected to go without an appetizer. No big deal, but then my daughter ordered a pink cadillac drink. Again they were out of the ingredients and unable to make it. That was told to us after we had already been waiting some time for our drinks. My husband ordered a rootbeer. It took a long time to arrive. He brought out waters like we requested but only brought out 4. We were a party of 6. Our food didn't come out at the same time either. We got 4 plates and waited another 5-7 minutes for the remaining two. Our waiter was very nice and took our picture for us which I do appreciate, but was busy with a large party next to us and really didnt check on us at all. We waited a really long time for our drinks as well as our food. My husbands steak was very fatty and hard to chew. My mashed potatoes and asparagus was cold. Overall our experience was awful. I'm sad to say it will be a really long time before we choose BJ's as our family celebration spot. We usually have a good experience. This time it was bad. After order was taken, could not get the order correct had yo keep repeating then when done didn't take the menus. The place looks great. Nice looking brew house with a great looking bar. We had the avocado egg rolls and they were ok. My wife had the kicking chicken sandwich and said it was very good. She got the sweet potato fries and they were excellent. I had the prime rib and it was not very good. You can tell it was maybe choice beef and not prime. They cook it with no seasoning on the outside. Prime rib should have a thick cost of seasoning with a good amount of salt, but there was nothing. My meal also came with a pizookie and I ordered the cinnamon roll. The dough in the middle was raw so the whole thing was inedible. My advice is order a burger or a pizza. Leave the steaks to a steakhouse. By the way, our waiter was so chill I think he fell asleep while taking our order. Went here for a special lunch for my sisters engagement and our service was horrible. We had a server I believed named Melissa R, and she never checked on us once after our food came. Everyone's order was incorrect and I mean everyone's. We ordered an appetizer and it came same time as our meals, we never got one refill on our drinks and she was very Rude. We did have a server that helped us a couple times that was helpful and very nice her name was Ciera. We left a small tip and I would've talked to the manager about why but we had already been there for two hours. For the second time now service was horrible! We've had Sierra as a server on two separate occasions and many things such as drinks , food, and boxes were forgotten. Not to mention you need to wait at lease twenty minutes or more between every request. I left without my left overs because we waited 30 minutes for a box that never came, but the cherry on top was her telling us she is unable to split the check because we failed to tell her to do that when we first sat down. Love going to Bjs but unfortunately our last visit was very dissapointing. We went in last Thursday for dinner with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered 2 appetizers the avocado egg rolls and lemon wings. After we placed our appetizer order our server seemed to have gotten lost, it took about 20minutes until we saw him again to place our dinner order. In the meantime our wings did come out but our egg rolls never did. We mentioned the missing egg rolls which he went and brought some out but they must've been sitting there because they were not hot. Then it took maybe another 25 minutes to get our food, my southern chicken was burned like very obvious burned. It was hard and stale. Another server brought out our food, this whole time we didnt see our server, so we hadn't gotten refills on our drinks either. Finally he stopped by towards the end of our meal n at that point I asked for napkins, boxes, our check and ordered a pizookie since I didnt know how long he would take to come back to our table. He returned with boxes, and our check but no napkins. We packed some leftovers, we're ready to pay and we're waiting for our dessert. We waited for him to come to our table to do our transaction but he was caught up with the table next to us chatting about what bars he goes to and whatnot, he was there chatting for about 20minutes, a lady at another table that was waiting to order got up to complain about him which is when he finally excused himself and got back to his tables. he came n did our transaction n did mention the pizookie would be right out. We waited about 15 or 20 more minutes and again we didnt see the waiter and never saw our dessert either. We eventually just got up an left. Very dissapointing experience overall. Disappointed with BJ's Brewhouse Curbside Service If I could give zero stars I would. I've had bad experiences at BJ's Brewhouse before, but this was the last straw. My boyfriend and I ordered pizookies for curbside pickup through the app. The instructions clearly state to park in a spot marked for curbside pickup and call the number on the sign. When we arrived, finding an empty curbside spot was a struggle because employees were parked in those designated spaces! We called the number on the sign--no answer. I had to call the main number and let them know we were there and parked. What really set me off was watching employees leave their shifts while parked in the curbside spots, and then new employees arrived and parked there as well. It was clear they have no interest in providing the service they offer. This kind of carelessness and disregard for customers is unacceptable. I won't be coming back. read more

The wait can tend to be a bit longer than usual due to covid as they have a lot of tables closed off. One of my hacks is ordering from the lunch menu despite it not being lunch time/the weekday. They will still let you do the lunch combo, I love ordering the tomato soup and the pizza. The lemon thyme chicken is very citrus and moist. It includes brussel sprouts which I love. Pleasantly surprised. We used to love BJs but have had several experiences where service was slow etc.., we have never been to this location as we are driving home from Sequoia. The reviews were terrible for service and cold food etc., but we took a gamble. We were seated immediately which is rare as a family of 7 but it was only 2:00. Our waitress Deborah was awesome. I just want to say that I have never been to this restaurant before, but I went with my family of 8 and it was by far the best service. The young man that help us was tall slender looking by the name of Patrick was very sweet to my granddaughter of 2yrs old. Made sure she had a high chair and asked her if she needed anything.
