WORST DINING EXPERIENCE IV'E EVER HAD!!!!! We waited an hour and half after being seating for any food. We received no utensils and no drink refills. We had an extremely difficult time paying with the online service and were treated with contempt after being asked for help. After spilling a drink, we ask for a towel/napkins which were never received--we had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels ourselves. We also waited 25 minutes to be seated in the first place, even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was near empty. We all received our food at different times, and my friend still did not receive hers when we left. The waitstaff gave us all dirty looks when we started to act upset. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Maybe just short staffed or inexperienced cooks. Ordered an appetizer that we never got! It happens. But then my chicken dish was served on cold black beans and rice that wasn't completely cooked. They did replace it but I think the managers comment when she asked what was wrong and we explained about the rice undercooked and suggested she just look at it she responded with attitude. I would never eat here again. Had the shrimp tacos they were just soaked in some spicy Mayo with a side of black beans and some nachos with what seemed like fake gauc and salsa that came from a bag. Side salad tasted like the inside of a walk in cooler that needed to be cleaned. No prices on the wine menu. You have to ask for the price before ordering. Not fun when you are there with friends. A glass of Kim Crawford Sauv Blanc is $12.25. My son had the boneless hot wings. They were worse than Tyson frozen boneless wings. How we ended up with a $92 bill for this awful food I will never know. I'm used to paying this for good, farm to table food. This was just reheated pub fare. AVOID this place. read more

Cleveland is not working out this far. I sat down and 5 min later asked if I wanted a drink and ordered one. I asked for a second to look over the menu and decided I wanted potato skins. It's been awhile so I figured why not. Came out fairly quick. Just we're gross! Worst ones I've been hard to be honest. I've had better in dive bars. Then the table behind me asked if they were ever going to get service and two waitresses blamed each other for not taking care of them. It's not like the place is packed and I understand why. I've been to several locations and this is by far the only disappointing experience I've had. The service was not exactly friendly and slow, despite the place being fairly empty. I went for a deep dish meat lovers pizza since it was 50% off. What a shame. They left off half the toppings. I wouldn't return to this location. read more

Food would have been good if it arrived hot. It took 3 hrs to get the check. Manager came to the table ask if we wanted to reheat remake or eat because the kitchen is backed up. Extremely disappointed in the experience we had at one of my favorite restaurants. my aunt was in from out of town and I figured we would take her somewhere nice. We had to ask for refills every single time because the server was not refilling it on her own accord at all. We waited about 45 min for our food to come. My aunt sent her med steak back because it was well done. She server assured there was a "rush" on her remake but her steak literally never came. We all finished our dinner and just shared some with her. I found the manager myself and he said he wasn't aware of the situation at all. He brought the steak out after in a Togo box and said they actually had to go out and buy another steak outside the restaurant which just sounded absurd. The server had an 18% gratuity, which that's the only reason she got any tip from the entire table at all because the service was careless to say the least. read more

This was quite possibly one of the worst carryout experiences of the last 5 years. The phone app is great, the menu was extensive, but the food was an hour later than it promised online when we order it. Of course they were under staffed, so I'm trying to be sympathetic, but half the food was cold. Honestly, it looked like a poorly managed business from top to bottom. This place is absolutely trash. Came 2 days in a row, thinking maybe the first time was a fluke while in town. Sat at the bar, no one around for 20 minutes. Service is slooow. Food came out wrong. Second time we got nachos, came with literally 4 pieces of chicken and no queso, sent back, then came out wrong again. The staff is no where to be found 99% of the time and the times you do see them, they're talking to each other in the corner. Second time, someone was literally emptying a black and mild re-rolling it with weed at the bar while talking to the bar tender uninterrupted. Definitely not worth the money when you can go next door to the streak house or right across the street for a ton of great options. Management must not be involved here because they're all entirely too comfortable to be this slow, lazy and uncaring. Will never be back when I'm here for work every month. read more

I had a very poor experience at this location. We picked this resturant to celebrate my daughter progression to the next grade. Upon arrival, we stood or waited for almost 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. There was no server or hostess in site. When we were finally acknowledged and seated, our server was attentive with ordering but not with follow through or checking on the table. We waited over 20 minutes for appetizers, mind you the resturant was less than half full. Half full would be very generous. Then it was almost 25 minutes until our entrees came out. One of the customers in my party had a question/ concern about his food and he had to flag down another server to address. The issue was the calamari meal, it had some hard noodles that the customer was unaware came with it and he was questioning it. The person who was not our server suggested they remake the order without the hard noodles, gave him a plate to place some of the calamari on the plate to eat. After she removed the plate, a woman who works there approached the table without greeting, introducing herself or questioning what the concern is. She just said that because 1/2 of the food was eaten it couldn't be replaced. That was incorrect, he did not eat half. The amount he removed from the plate was still on the table uneaten. He offered it to them she said that that is still more than half of the food eaten. Since he did not want to argue he didnt speak more. Very poor customer service. That experience alone left a poor taste with me. Another person in the party asked for no mushrooms on her sandwich and it had mushrooms. Given the lengthy amount of time it took to get our food and the experience with whomever that woman was, we decided not to sent it back. She had to eat the food off of our tray. Lastly, when we pulled up we saw a man in black smoking and peeing outside of the resturant towards the street. When we left, it was confirmed that he works there. My experience today was great. It was me and my family there. Our server Kate was phenomenal and very knowledgeable of the drinks and menu. She also was very attentive and made sure she got our order 100% correct. I will for sure come back and ask for Kate personally as my server. read more

I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the service.......I have been to many BJ's Brewhouses and this was my worst experience by far. Wait 40 minutes for a table when only 1/4 of the restaurant was full. Got seated and waited 20 minutes for a Bloody Mary and a tap beer when only 4 people were sitting at the bar. Bloody Mary was completely watered down. Our server only was responsible for two tables and we barely saw them. Manager was nice and fixed watery drink. Food was good. read more

Wheeeew when I saw the 2 star review I should have passed..... I had been here once before but thought it was me and decided to give it another try... We had a reservation for 6 for 8pm to celebrate my niece's 15th birthday. It took a while for out server to greet (strike one) After she took our order we didn't see her for a while, had to ask someone to find her (strike two) Our food took forever to come and when we were seated they weren't busy. When our food finally did come the plates were hot but the food really wasn't... everyone ate because we were hungry (strike three) Wanted to order a drink and had to have someone find her again (strike 4) We ordered dessert... took forever she claimed they were "acting busy" in the back so she'd make them... took her a while too (strike 4) We finally got our checks... we had coupons for the free desserts... took her forever to come back with the checks. She had swiped my card without taking off my free dessert.. gave me my check to sign and said she would try to have someone take it off after I had already paid! (Strike 5) The only thing good in this place is the pizookies... if you're not sitting at the bar ordering one of those and a drink... I wouldn't bother going. read more

While my family and I were in Cleveland visiting, we decided to check BJ's Restaurant out, as we had not been to BJ's in Michigan before, and I had heard good reviews from friends about the restaurant! We went on a Monday afternoon, and we were able to take advantage of the Monday daily special, half off of a large pizza. We decided to order and share the BBQ Deep Dish Pizza (grilled chicken, bbq sauce, red onions, and added pineapples, seasoned tomatoes and cilantro. I also order a cup of clam chowder soup. The food was really good, and the service was good!! I was delighted about the clam chowder soup (and the fact that they had oyster crackers Bc most restaurants don't). The pizza was enough for the 3 of us, plus we all took slices home. I will definitely check out the BJ's near me in a Michigan at some point, Bc I'm interested in checking out more items on the menu. read more

Unbelievable experience tonight at BJ's... 90 minutes in our refired. Food was still MIA... once it did show the steaks were both well, not MR as ordered, vegetables were cold, sides absent and the server was no where... only about 30 people in the whole restaurant. I had to call the restaurant to ask for our server to bring us our bill and a water refill. I can't imagine I would ever return. read more

S L O W shuffle by employees in an environment where there is obviously no one with a stake in how/ whether the store succeeds. Despite the food is good, the servers are playing to an empty room. It is unclean, no one looks you in the eye. It doesn't seem anyone's job is to greet or seat you. S L O W is the order of the day. Our server didn't write anything down and it took two hours to complete lunch in a largely empty restaurant. Save your excuses, we obviously won't be back. Halfway through a 12 hour drive and decided to stop here to watch some Monday Night Football w the boys and eat before everything closed. Really didn't expect much, very few wait staff. Recently, I went to BJ's in North Olmsted on Brookpark Road. It was my birthday and had suggested to my friends to go there. I had had a good experience the last time I was there; but on that day, the experience was awful. We waited forever for our food and then, it arrived cold. We asked that hot food be served. A manager came over, who was not hospitable at all and acted liked like we were bothering her. They supposedly made new food, which also was cold. I was embarrassed because it was my suggestion to go there. I will never recommend this restaurant again. We dined as a family of six. We were served by Grace and she was absolutely fantastic, very attentive, extremely professional. Made sure that we had refills on drinks. I highly recommend the broccoli and cheese soup in the sourdough bowl. French fries are amazing, wings are average. 18% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, but we gave more than this. When we arrived the host was not in front when he came up I spoke you could barely get him. I asked for a table for our party. He said he would be back and it took him a good minute to return. We were finally seated. I began looking at the menu as every one else did. Our waitress Imani took our order in terms of drinks. When she came back to the table with our drinks she never asked if we were ready to order. We sat there and waited for her to return and finally told her we were ready to order. She was a bit moody and had a slight attitude but we ordered our food. All most everything I ordered was great. The only problem is that we had to keep asking for things to be brought out that we ordered. It took so long to get out drinks, then appetizers then out main course. We asked for so many things more than once. I wanted a water after drinking my coffee we never received it. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were not good. My overall experience here was not a good one. Also, had to wait for our dessert. Towards the end her mood switched and she was a lot more friendly. Will I return probably if I could a different waitress and the service was faster. read more

The restaurant did not see especially busy, but we waited for more than an hour for our food (a long time to entertain three young kids). Our waitress was pleasant, but we didn't see much of her. The food finally arrived and was not especially good (chewy chicken on the salad, and generally overpriced for what it was), and we had to wait another 10 minutes for the last of the kids with us to get her meal.
