recently joined BJ's Wholesale through a promotional offer -- I think it was around $10 or $20 -- and honestly, it's one of the best decisions I've made. I used to be a Sam's Club member, but I got pretty frustrated with how often they were out of the things I regularly buy. On top of that, their whole cash rewards situation started feeling like a hassle. If you wanted to redeem your cash, you had to go in, stand in line, and could only use it in certain ways -- not even for gas, which seemed ridiculous. BJ's, on the other hand, has been a breath of fresh air. I'm a single guy who lives alone, so buying in bulk works great for me -- and BJ's makes it even better. One of the coolest features is being able to check out using their app. You scan everything, pay on your phone, and then just show your receipt at the door. No long lines, no stress -- it's amazing. Their gas prices are right on par with Sam's and Costco, and the in-store prices are basically the same penny for penny. But BJ's wins big for me with their customer experience and extra conveniences. I especially love that they have a real deli counter. The quality is great, and it's such a nice touch. All around, I'm really happy I made the switch. BJ's just gets it right.

I love BJ's they have everything from gas to food. At a great price the staff are nice people. Nice big store with great prices. Sometimes I order online and have everything delivered to my home. Sometime I pull up for pick up and everything I'm placed in my vehicle. When I do go in to shop the store is always clean. I really have no complaints about BJ's . I have the top membership which cost a little more. But you can get a basic membership for 20 to 25 dollars for a years pass and it's worth it.

We decided to check out this store. Took a browse before committing. We like that they sell smaller packs of items here. The other selling point is they accept Amex, where Costco doesn't. Also offers gas here. Basic membership is $55, the business membership is more, but is only for businesses that will resell products and are tax exempt. The annual membership auto renewals, unless it's disabled. It's nice to not be stuck buying such bulk items for the house. We can keep our other membership for our business stuff then.

EBS might not be impressed since he was the Costco god, be I see why my half sister and step mother love this place. Smaller than the Costco I have been, it is cheaper to join and have the same assortment of things just not as many items in each categories. I found items which I use and needed, but being a widow, most things are just to large to use up quickly. But if you have a family, you will find some good deals. I found that I could get thru the store in just over an hour. That is even doubling back to grab a few things that I had coupons from their hand out. Food stand was more limited than Costco, but prefect size to grab a snack. I will be back a few times a year for shopping but hope to stop for gas when I can.

I'm preliminarily giving this place 4 out of 5 stars. My boyfriend and I stopped by here tonight to see if I wanted to join it, and you can't beat their current deals... I paid $55 for the year but got two coupon books plus a $35 BJs gift card, so essentially I paid $20 for a year's membership. They're also offering a $110 membership with a $70 gift card. Gas today was $2.19/gallon (compare to: $2.49 at local gas stations) and I live 15 minutes away, so I'll be coming back to fill up, for sure. We walked around the warehouse before I decided to join and it's comparable to other Costco and Sam's Club locations that I've been to. They had a ton of samples out tonight too which was nice. If the line to sign up is long, check out the kiosks by the far wall, under Greeting Cards - that's where they sent us to tonight. Apparently you can have two people per membership, so my boyfriend was able to be added to mine; he lives close by to the Taylor location. Overall, looking forward to exploring this location more, now that I'm a member. They have a snack shop with various food for $1, too, including soft pretzels, Icees, Dearborn hot dogs, and even water bottles for 25 cents.

I really enjoy shopping here. What is very annoying is the the cell phone salesmen. That try to sell you a new phone. While telling them numerous times that you are not interested. That is the reason for the four stars with me. When I come to shop. Let me shop and leave me alone please and thank you!!

Go Blue !!! Quality hats and a great deal

This is the Madison Heights location of BJ's, which sits on the site of a former Super K-Mart (remember those?!), and is near a Home Depot and Lowe's.

If it plugs in, powers on, or stores data -- they have it. And not just one option... they have 20. I actually bought my very first MacBook from here back in 2012, and I still remember how excited I was walking out of the store with it. That purchase started a whole new chapter for me, and Micro Center has been my go-to ever since. Then in writing and in follow-up conversation indicated OEM battery was unavailable. After market battery might work but no guarantees due to mismatching imbedded Apple hardware and software with a third party battery. After I decided to not take a chance, then was told they were confident the aftermarket battery would work. While everyone at Micro Center was polite, I would have preferred to have saved time, $50, and consideration of vacillating recommendations.

The device failed while it was still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. When I returned to the store looking for help, I was simply told that because I was outside Best Buy's 15-day return window, there was nothing they could do. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was never offered an extended protection plan when I purchased the power bank. Instead of making any effort to help me with the manufacturer's warranty or pointing me toward a solution, I felt like I was brushed aside the moment they realized it wasn't a simple return. To make matters worse, I've spent well over $8,000 at Best Buy in the last two years. You would think that kind of customer loyalty would count for something. Instead, I was treated like just another inconvenience. Customer service shouldn't end after 15 days, especially when a product fails less than two months after purchase and is still under the manufacturer's warranty. I wasn't expecting a free replacement outside the store's return policy--I was expecting someone to care enough to help me navigate the warranty process. This experience has completely changed my opinion of Best Buy. If this is how loyal customers are treated when they need help, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There are too many retailers that value their customers to keep supporting one that doesn't.

He did the repair work and after I picked the phone up, I noticed that the Face ID did not work. I gave him a call and he explained that he 'forgot' to tell me that the Face ID would no longer work because 'that's just what happens' when the screen needs to be replaced and the senor is damaged. I wasn't too happy about no longer having Face ID, and that should definitely been a conversation at the time of repair, but I just accepted it as it was. I also made him aware that the screen was lifting on the left side in the middle, so much so that it was noticeable from the side and from the front when looking at the screen. I was told that I could bring the phone back to the shop to have the lifted screen repaired. Once I arrived at the shop with the phone, he took a look at it and said 'oh yeah, that's just how these aftermarket screens sit'. There was also a light showing through in the bottom corner of the screen, and when I asked him about it he replied 'yeah, that's just there because it's a new screen but it won't hurt anything'. There were no lights showing through before my screen was fixed. The screen wasn't even broken, it was lifting at the top. I was also told that even if he replaced the screen, it would still be lifted because there was nothing he could do to fix. IRONICALLY, that was the very last screen that he had in-store to fit my phone, RIGHT! He then argued with me that he'd been doing this for 10 years and no one EVER complained to him that the screen was lifting, despite him also saying that all of the after-market screens sit this way. He acknowledged that it was uneven and lifting, but refused to admit that it was a quality issue. He made it a point to tell me how this screen was better than the one I had before. I'm not required to be grateful for a low quality repair job that I PAID for, especially when it's given with poor customer service. Just because it's better, doesn't meant that it's acceptable. I was told that it was my opinion that my screen shouldn't be lifting and that the screen shouldn't sit that way on the phone. I can only speak for my experience here, so if anyone else has had luck with this business, good for you. I was not so lucky. He's very nice when you meet him, but if you have any issues with the repair he will try and gaslight you in to accepting subpar work. He said that all of the aftermarket screens fit my phone that way, I've had my phone screen repaired before at another location and I've never had this issue. I don't recommend this business. Find another business or you'll have to have it replaced twice like me.
