Here's my breakdown after coming here for my friends birthday dinner. Pros: -spinach dip (my friends enjoyed) -our server was very sweet -I enjoyed the steak soup and the side salad. The blue cheese was amazing. -the manager did come and check on us when she heard our order was messed up. -they gave my friend a complimentary dessert for her birthday which was nice of them. Cons: -my friends had both of their orders messed up (not a big deal, it happens, none of us cared) -my friends steaks were over-salted -my prime rib and my boyfriends were ridiculously bland. Even the au-jus and the horseradish tasted like literally nothing. We continually salted our steaks hoping to get some flavor and got nothing. So to drop almost $100 on something we ultimately didn't enjoy was a bummer. read more

This place is so wonderful and fill of nostalgia for me. We celebrate at black Angus for my birthday since I was about 5 with all of my family and the wagon wheel sampler is always such a hit. The fresh bread in the beginning is so wonderful with the whipped butter. The fried zucchini with their famous zucchini dip of absolutely to die for and I've been eating it since I was 5- it tastes exactly the same. The prime rib is truly the best there ever was; and yes they beat Houstons steakhouse and outback any day of the week. Thank you again! read more

My mother in law chose Black Angus as our dinner spot this evening. We waited a little over ten minutes to be seated, which is to be expected on a Saturday. Our server greeted us within a couple minutes. Don't recall his name but he was friendly and attentive. We got some appetizers to start and my husband and mother n law both got drinks from the bar. The drinks came quickly and our appetizers soon followed. The zucchini was crispy and delicious and I love whatever the dip is that they serve with it. The potato skins were hot and scrumptious as well. My husband and I got so full on apps that we didn't get to order a steak like we originally planned. We decided to share the filet mignon sandwich. That wasn't my favorite at all. I wouldn't order that again. My mother n law got the crispy shrimp which was delish. I wanted to finish strong with a piece of cheesecake, but I was just too full. Next time, I need to remember to not get full on apps because I know the steak is always good here. 10/10 on service alone. read more

The family was craving steak for dinner and one of the more popular steak houses in the area had a 90-minute wait time. My husband suggested Black Angus. Wait what? We have a Black Angus in the area? I did not know that, and I've lived here for 4 years! So off we go to this location, it was practically empty with no wait. We had a great and very attentive server. The steak was delicious and flavorful just as I remembered from all the previous Black Angus locations I've been to. What's even great about this place is that they are literally next to AMC theaters. So dinner and a movie is definitely in the works for the near future. Black Angus! We had a gift card given to us and luckily there's this Black Angus near by. Our waitress Caroline was on top of it. She brought us refills without being asked and anticipated any needs we might have during our dinner. We love the campfire feast! It's the best bang for your buck and the food is delicious. Once we had spoons, we found that the cake was too overly sweet to eat. There was another wait before we left as they were cleaning the bathrooms. I'm glad they clean the bathrooms, but to do both at the same time on a Saturday night was a bit much as a line was forming. Between waiting for the spoons and the bathroom, we were more than ready to leave. All in all, Lukes is an OK place to grab a bite or a drink, but I would probably try other restaurants in the area before returning.

I made a reservation through OpenTable, and we were seated right on time. The dining atmosphere was comfortable, contributing to an enjoyable experience. Like other Black Angus locations, this restaurant seemed to be understaffed, which resulted in long wait times at every stage of the meal. While the service was friendly, the delays were noticeable. The food was excellent. I appreciated that they served butter with the lobster tails, a detail the Escondido location did not offer. The presentation was also noticeably better here, making the meal feel more refined. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye, lobster tails, and asparagus. Although the ribeye was on the thinner side, the flavor and overall quality of the meal were great. One standout feature was cleanliness--the bathrooms were well-maintained, unlike my experience at the Escondido location. There were no unpleasant odors in the dining area, which enhanced the overall atmosphere. Overall, the great food, solid presentation, and clean facilities made for a good visit, but slow service due to understaffing remains an issue. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. read more

Worst customer service ever! Made reservations for an early family Thanksgiving meal 4 weeks in advance. I was told on the phone they would be serving a turkey dinner all week. I made a reservation Monday Nov 19th for 5 of us. The hostess was like a robot and the place was almost empty. After we were seated we asked the waitress for the turkey dinner and she looked at us like we were crazy... we aren't serving turkey until Thanksgiving day she says. We let her know we called and asked about it as we were making the reservation. She goes to get the manager, and we decide to leave because he's taking his own sweet time. As we are walking out the door he says is there a problem, we explain and he offers nothing to encourage us to stay only a meager apology. We went up the street and had a great dinner at Marie Calendars the service was friendly the place was busy and the food arrived hot and fast!. We like Black Angus in general but this location is ill managed and has the worst customer service... actually there was no customer service! read more

Itook my 91 years old mother out for the first time this year due to her fear of Covid. Most of us ordered the Campfire Feast. My mother and all loved the Hors d'oeuvres (fried zucchini with a tasty cucumber dip). Her salmon main dish was juicy and full of flavor. My prime rib was thick, tender and cooked to perfection, yummmy! Oh and the side dishes were wonderful- mashed baked red potatoes and broccoli. Plus carrot cake at the end!! My mother loved the food so much she told the hostess to give complements to the chef! The service was great as well. I heard nothing but praises of the service, food and the portions. We visited Black Angus Steakhouse on the 4th of July, the restaurant was absolutely packed, but everything ran like clockwork. We had a reservation, and as soon as we arrived, our table was ready to go. Our server, Brett, was amazing. He gave us great drink recommendations that paired perfectly with our meals. His attention to detail and upbeat attitude really stood out, especially with how busy the place was. The food? Absolutely incredible. Black Angus Steakhouse in Temecula is my favorite place to go to have a great meal. The service is incredible! Our waitress, Carmel, was very knowledgeable and was very considerate to our needs. She answered all questions we had and let us know about the great deals they had, such as the campfire feast. We even ended up joining the Prime Club! Can't wait to use the free steak dinner for my birthday! Both managers, Erin and Cirilo, came to visit our table to make sure everything was going well. They will rip you off if you use a Groupon. Never would have gone but I had company from out of state so I got three Groupons, prepaid for the campfire feast. The waitress redeemed them all, and then told me only one went through. I showed her clearly they were all redeemed, but they charged me for the whole thing they charged all the Groupon and then took like $23 off so that doesn't make any sense. We had a wonderful early Valentines dinner tonight and everything was amazing. I love the deals they have with wine and their dinner for two. We had two margaritas with prime rib, I have to say that they were the best margaritas I've ever had in my life. I don't know what they're using in there, but the juice was so fresh and yummy. Went to Black Angus tonight for dinner. Brianna was our server, she was very personable and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the campfire feast (way too much food for two but who doesn't like left overs?), I had the prime rib and it was done to perfection, I love the baked potato with everything and am so glad our server recommended the mushrooms and bottle of wine. I absolutely love this place. My husband and I have been there a couple times and we are never disappointed. He finally went back and made two to-go cups--for two other people! I ordered a bran muffin--do NOT make the same mistake! The top half was incredibly chewy. The bottom half? Rock hard. They probably microwaved it for too long--yuck. The toast was actually tough to chew as well. I took two bites of my husband's and gave up. Crazy for someone who loves carbs. As we left there was a huge wait and lots of open tables because their help just isn't super helpful. We won't be making a 4th trip. This place needs some serious overhauling.
