    We sat at the bar on Friday evening and the server/bartender was so great! She is so good at her job, so friendly with customers and making sure we had everything we need. We will def be back. We went in for Happy Hour to see what they had. Lots of drink options, I got the Corona Beer with the Tequila shot, that was only $8. Great deal! The food was only 4 options (bread, filled potato skins, fried chicken tenders and the fried zucchini). The free bread and butter is very good and comes out warm. I got the buffalo chicken tenders and although the sauce was really good, the chicken itself was so rubbery and the breading was very thick, just not good quality. The blue cheese dressing was top tier! Not that i'm looking for top quality in a HH special! I'll try the zucchini next time and see how that is. My hubby was very happy with his Prime Rib. He got the seasonal green beans and mashed potatoes. Delicious sides! Would absolutely get those again. The restaurant is on the InKind app, so that's a plus!

    Service was excellent for our large group. Steak was delicious and enjoyed the Strawberry Lemon Drop Happy Hour special. Next come I come I have to get the Mac and Cheese.

    I used to go to another black angus location a lot when I was younger. I moved out to the I.E. and haven't been in like 3 or 4 years. Decided to go today and it wasn't bad at all but it wasn't great like I remember. We got the campfire feast, a kids Mac and cheese and a filet mignon meal. The food was good but could totally be improved. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were super juicy, but under seasoned for sure. Just a little salt and pepper and maybe some butter on there and the steaks would have been a 10/10. The Mac and cheese was a little disappointing. The cheese sauce was gritty. I like a CREAMY Mac and cheese. But the flavor was decent. The free bread is ALWAYS on pint. I love it. We had 3 loaves. The regular baked potato was pretty good too but the skin was mega dry. Luckily, I had a ton of butter to make it better. But they could have thrown some oil and salt and pepper on the skin when baking it. That would elevate the flavor a lot. The server was nice but her face seemed like she was over it. I get it, no one wants to be at work, but you could hide it a little haha. But overall, everything was still good. Idk when I'll be going back, but hopefully the Mac and cheese and baked potatoes improve and they throw some seasonings and butter on the steaks.

    Terrible, I left a review about waitstaff and hygiene which physically left myself and family sick. Even the other waitstaff said the server had been told numerous times about hygiene from various persons. My review was removed because I'm being honest with the general public as to how a visit could turn out, after 3 visits in 2 months turned out for me. And then get harassed by friends of the server. Just goes to show they all complain but when someone, a customer says something the customer is at fault.

    We stopped in for a couple of drinks and ended up realizing we were hungry. The manager, Scott, told us about their lobster and steak special, so we decided to give it a try. The food did not disappoint! Kaylee, the bartender, is always super friendly and attentive, and Scott is one of the best managers we've ever seen...constantly checking on customers, helping his staff, and even running food himself. It's rare to see a manager work just as hard (if not harder) than his team, and it really shows in the service and atmosphere. We always enjoy coming here, and experiences like this are exactly why.

    I lobe this place! They sometimes have amazing deals and especially if you have the app. Their steaks are pretty good! The fries are delicious and the mashed potatoes are excellent. The salads are good and their baked potato skins is also pretty good. The shrimp cocktail shrimp was pretty big. I dont like marinara sauce or cocktail sauce so there's that. If the shrimp tastes robust, you wouldn't need it anyways. I loved the creme brulee and the carrot cake is good. But I love all carrot cakes. The day we went we had a deal where you get an entree, a dessert and appetizer. I believe it was through groupon. It was 30$ for each person, so I purchased 8 of them. I thought it was a steal! The service was good and they are attentive. I think this place has good food, good vibe, and good service! We definitely had a good time!

    Went in for an after church dinner. Jessie was our server. She was pretty good. The food on the other hand was okay. My chicken was pretty pink inside. I'm so happy they had the grilled artichoke. We noticed that the bread was a lot smaller. The wagon wheel was also smaller. Everything else was really good. We had a child behind us, who was a little chatty.

    We got the two meals special. I ordered the Quesadilla for the starter then a filet mignon for my entree. Hubby got Prime Rib. Kim, our server, was patient as there were two different two meals special so we got mixed up. She returned when I got back on track. My two sides were the seasonal Green Beans and a baked potato. Hubby had broccoli and steak soup. The steak soup tasted like a beef vegetable soup. Fabulous restaurant. The ambiance is casual for a steak house and we fitted right in. Food was perfectly cooked!

    Great service and attentive waitress. Our NY steaks were perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly how we wanted them. The surf and turf quesadillas were also very tasty and worth every cent, a must try! Clean tables and perfect level of music and plenty of parking available.

    Black Angus was a delight last night! Service was top notch. I was a little worried because we were placed in a back corner of the restaurant kind of tucked away. We had a baby and that worked well for us (even though no body outside baby in a corner) everyone was so kind! I felt like the price was right too. The dinner for 2, is an excellent choice. I took a star away for two reasons, my steak was medium but it just didn't have a hard enough sear...maybe 30 more seconds would have done the trick to rinder out the fat and get those nice crispy bites and our receipt didn't have a line item, maybe that's because I had her swipe my card before bringing the check. That's on me but would have been nice to have that still brought when bringing it to sign. We would go back.

    Absolutely best service on the busiest day of the holiday weekend. Ryan G did his absolute best and was great with our table. His enjoy in severing truly shows his personality is great. We will be asking for him when we come in.

    The service by Joyce was excellent. The restaurant is a good value. The restaurant was also nice inside instead of the usual dark setting.

Because of this I've never been able to share the gloriousness that is a full seafood boil, especially a good one like Pier 88. The headless peel n' eat shrimp and crawfish, the true backbone of any decent boil, were plump and delicious. I felt kind of giddy every time I would finish one and saw how many were left. The lobster tail was a good change-of-pace and the king crab legs, admittedly not my favorite item, still managed to satisfy. I also like how they threw in so much potatoes and sausage into the mix. It was definitely super generous at what other places consider an afterthought. I thought the service was alright. They seemed to have forgotten one of my party's margaritas but that could have been more a slow bartender than an inept server. I also never got a prompt to refill my soda, which is a little more concerning. The ambiance was pretty good. There were plenty of tables and booths, and everything was spaced appropriately. You definitely don't feel like you're on top of the tables around you. They also had plenty of TV's as the World Cup was easy to watch along with. I could be happy here any time I get the craving for some shrimp and crawfish. And as long as the servers were more diligent about refills. One time I'll figure out how to get Miss Scotch herself to one of these things, dirty hands be damned. I'd say getting your hands in the muck and mire of delicious foods is half the fun. And with places like Pier 88 out there, you could be having a fun time and a full belly every day of the week.

It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. She said "have a good day" in an oddly, irritated way when I paid with my card. Oh wells. Ill come here for the desserts! And perhaps ill give other things a try
