    Open-Faced Turkey Sandwich
    Tracey B.

We love diners and this one was very good! When we came for dinner, I had the open face Turkey sandwich, and my companions had the Turkey club sandwich and a chicken strips basket. My family was so happy with dinner that we came back for breakfast then next morning and had all the breakfast foods. The biggest hit was the red white and blue pancakes. Service was good and we would definitely be back!

Build You Own Breakfast - Ham , Scrambled Eggs , Grits , Wheat Toast , and Coffee. Everything was good.

I stopped here the morning of November 3rd on my way from Las Vegas to Oklahoma. Parking lot is big with plenty of spots. I ate at the counter and service was very good. I did the Build Your Own Breakfast - Ham , Scrambled Eggs , Grits , Wheat Toast , and Coffee. Everything was really good. I've eaten a few times at Black Bear Diner in Las Vegas and years ago it was not good , but this past year I went back a couple times for breakfast and once for lunch and it was so much better. The ladies here kept my coffee filled and hot and were very nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is pretty big too , so if you have a large family or if you see a lot of cars in the parking lot , I wouldn't worry , they have a lot of tables and dining areas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're driving through Kingman.

It's a little strange but I always come here the week or day of my birthday. Today we decided to get our usual lunch. I ordered online. That was easy and smooth. I was greeted with friendly faces and the service was excellent. I got out to my truck and we started eating. I ordered two open face turkey sandwiches, a carrot cake and coconut cream pie. The open face sandwiches were just warm. The potatoes tasted great but again warm not hot. Both plates didn't really have a lot of gravy. . The coconut cream pie was yellow and super thick. It didn't taste like the pies I always get here. So disappointed. The carrot cake was delicious. Moist and scrumptious. I'm not sure if I'll be back. I did order an extra turkey with gravy for lunch tomorrow.

This visit was SOooooo much better than last week. Our server checked on us 2 or 3 times. The food was good. Our cups were good. I'm much happier.

Pot roast dinner I ate half off before snapping a picture. Also enjoyed a real bowl size of vegetable soup with it.

I have been trucking over 25 years now & have witnessed the unfortunate drastic decline of both diners & service personnel. I'm proud to report I have discovered a gem in Kingman,Arizona. Rare is it to find a great waitress & delicious food in adult size portions at the same place creating an excellent dining experience. You should ask for Majel as your server. She does her job & does it well. I enjoyed the pot roast dinner prepared to perfection. My compliments to the chef. Tonight's meal & my waitress Majel brought me back to the days when people took pride in their jobs. Black Bear management my hat off to you also for allowing quality food in nice portions to be served at a reasonable price. This diner is a model of what others need to follow. I look forward to treating myself again here the next time I'm passing through. Thank you.

Our waitress was very sweet and attentive, food was great and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the location was very nice and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely will stop by again, the eggs benedict is my absolute favorite breakfast choice!

The food was hot upon delivery to the table. It's a little noisy, but the restaurant was full of people. Food was OK at best. Our server was awesome.

I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality. Sadly I won't be returning to any Cracker Barrel in any state, unless the original casserole recipe is brought back. But I'm one person and don't think the casserole will return.

The burger was huge. The patty was tender and juicy, but the onion rings and overly sweet barbecue sauce made it a bit too rich. I remember having a similar burger at Mr. Bartley's in Harvard Square, and I was also quite disappointed. This one was much better though, at least the patty was good. Philly Cheese Steak: My friend ordered this, and it wasn't as good as the Philadelphia original version. The beef was a bit tough, and there wasn't enough cheese. French Fries: Freshly fried fries. In the US, you can almost always get piping hot fries, so this was especially reassuring. Vanilla Oreo Shakes: The milkshakes are one of the restaurant's signature products, and I was very satisfied! Overall, it's smooth and creamy, sweet but not cloying, with a rich Oreo and vanilla flavor. But seriously, could you please use a bigger cup? Why use a separate cup to make it seem like a large portion? Caramel Sundae: My friend ordered this. It's made in a classic banana split style, with a rich caramel flavor. Although it was a little on the sweet side, it was still delicious.
