They have a small section of indoor seating but where they lack in indoor seating they make up for it with their fairly large outdoor patio that gives cute meeting spot vibes. 4.5 stars truly a cute place ! Nestled between all the cutesy vintage shops. This place is ideal for a paruse down the avenue, there is some seating outside and inside but it's not an ergonomic work station lol. Most ideal for a quick bite. Even better if you grab your mom or a few friends and walk up and down magnolia on a crisp morning! This place is clean and esthetically pleasing. I did the good woman's work and ordered a PSL because it's October and i just had to- yes I'm a self proclaimed hero lol it was less sweet than the competitors latte and really had a nice rounded spice profile. I found this business on Google Maps cause I just wanted a local spot and not a chain coffee shop. It's a small place at the corner with outdoor seating. There was one woman working there but she was busting out the snacks and drinks real quick! I believe it's card only (no cash) and maybe because it makes it a lot easier and quicker for them to run to the back and make the drink while you're paying. It works for me! Cute little shop. You couldn't go inside though...she had the table set up right at the front door so she was technically the only person inside the shop. I had the iced raspberry white mocha with half and half instead of 2% milk. The female employee was very friendly and quick. The drink was just the right amount of sweetness! I would go back if I'm ever in Burbank again! I would recommend at least trying it. No parking fee? In a county of LA? How on god's green earth does that happen?? And yes it was a Sunday, but even then, after triple checking the goddamn parking signs for special occasions, restrictions, and birthdays, the parking is without a doubt f r e e The trick is to find a parking space and I luckily found one a few streets over and embarrassingly parallel-parked like the inept traveler that I am. The coffee shop itself is a gem to behold. The space within is small enough to call it cozy yet claustrophobic at the same time, but it has a mellow vibe with its wide windows and friendly baristas. It's pretty tech savvy here, no cash, no menu, no receipts. The outdoor seating area is comfy and has an amazing view of the sky, unobstructed by towering buildings or the ever present smog of Hollywood. I got the rose latte, which tastes great for a slightly overcast afternoon. It wasn't the best latte I've ever had, but its warmth filled me up as I watched the lazy Sunday traffic trickle by. read more

We had some time to kill before picking up a friend, so decided to stop by here. With the smell of fresh ground coffee a block away, it's hard to not want a caffeinated drink. Currently, they only have outdoor seating. You order and pick up at the door. I ordered a rose latte for myself. Not completely to my taste, but it was good enough. What I should have done was order off the specials menu. I don't remember the names, but friend had a cherry flavor and the other one had a hazelnut type ice coffee. Both were super tasty and I'm glad I had a chance to try them. Though, I will say, they were very sweet, I probably wouldn't have been able to finish either. I ordered a lavender oat milk matcha and it did not taste nothing like lavender. The color of the matcha was NOT it. The customer was service was super mid. No acknowledgement that we entered. May I add, they were not busy. I took two sips and through it away. I should have checked the pictures first bc that would have let me known the color of the matcha first before coming here. Another day, another coffee shop! I looked at a few shops around Burbank and chose this spot for today because of the small patio on the side of the building. It's quaint and off the main street so that's a plus! I arrived around 11:00 and although there was no wait to order, the patio was full! I pulled up the digital menu and chose a hot Mexican mocha. The cashier was super friendly and greeted every customer after me with the same cheer and kindness. A few minutes later my drink was ready, hot and freshly brewed. By then a few people had left the patio so I was able to grab a seat in the shade. I would also like to applaud the one with the AUX cord for putting on an 80s playlist! The drink was good, it had smooth coffee and chocolate flavor but sadly it did not have that "punch" of Mexican flavors I had hoped for. The menu read it added cinnamon and cardamom but I think they put too little as it was more of a "hint" of flavor. Typically when I order any type of mocha variety at other shops, I love the kick of flavor whether it's a heat from spice, spices like those listed here, or just some combination of flavors. The staff was very sweet, though it doesn't look like you can sit inside yet. Parking seems to be mostly street parking. I went on a weekday afternoon and parking was fairly open. Such a cute little coffee shop right off of Magnolia. I was craving a coffee after spin class, and I decided to try something new. I went to Black Elephant Coffee, and there was easy street parking right out in front. I loved the decor and vibes as soon as I came through the doors. The service was friendly and there wasn't anyone else in the shop so I was able to order very quickly. At the counter there was a small sign for a Barbie latte and I was so intrigued! I ended up ordering it and wished I hadn't. It has beetroot, which I don't normally mind, but it was very overpowering. That's all I could taste. Beetroot and oat milk, not very appetizing. I couldn't even taste any coffee. I would probably come back to give it another try with a regular coffee or latte. read more

I love supporting new cafés and I thought I would give this a try. First thing I'd like to note, the people working here are extremely nice, patient and welcoming. Apart from their indoor seating (which is closed atm) they have a greenery patio right on the side. My order consisted of a Iced Oat-milk Latte with simple syrup, Blue butterfly matcha, and a jasmine Green tea. Jasmine Green Tea: Nothing special about this tea. Just a solid tea for cravings. Iced Oat-milk Latte: Not my favorite. I was a bit disappointed and aside from that it was pretty expensive for a 12 oz cup. Blue Butterfly Matcha: The display and color was super cute but I Wasn't able to taste the matcha, gave me more of a candy sweet like flavor and pure milk. The space is small but Inside is super cute and has a wrap around bench lining the wall of the shop so customers can wait for their drinks they also have a few tables and chairs outside which is nice. Staff there are very friendly and helpful. One of my friends had gotten their order done wrong and they immediately changed it. Didn't get a chance to try the food but it looked great. Will definitely come back to try it. I spoke to one customer who said she came from West Covina to get their horchata flavored drink from here. Hmm... seven dollars for a Matcha lavender latte with oat milk seems gougey. Coupled with no eye contact counter service, that isn't very helpful and THEN seems irritated when you don't tip. Not my jam. latte is barely OK. It's actually really sharp on the pallet, which seems like they added too much Matcha (because no tip?? Perhaps ) Rose petals is Kitch, but doesn't add anything. Honestly, I have a lot of space for exploration and innovation, but I'm so over crappy service with it too cool tatted up counter guy. I just have tip fatigue these days.... Tips are no longer a foregone conclusion. They're actually for good service. And service that's smiling or helpful at times. read more

Stopped by for a few pastries and drinks with friends, and we all loved the coffee shop! It's located in a super cute part of town with some nice boutiques and shops nearby. The drinks were great (some really cool flavors) and the pastries delicious. I tried the chagacinno, which was a nice fall drink - would recommend if you like mushrooms. I also got a chocolate croissant (which I assumed would be warmed up) but it wasn't which was kind of a bummer, so make sure you specify! Cute cute cute! Love this little place I found on yelp. I met a friend of mine for a pre-Christmas meetup and Burbank seemed like the most sensible spot. Simply Coffee is just off the bustling Magnolia Boulevard, which is full of life on a sunny, weekend afternoon. Plenty of people watching plus parking either on the street or the neighborhood. SC isn't completely noticeable from Magnolia, you have to look for it. But it's well worth finding: there is some seating outside, and some inside, albeit a small space. Doggies are welcome with treats by the water jug! There are mostly hot drinks, very little iced, as well as some pastries and sandwiches, if you're craving a little more to eat. I dined inside and it was comfortable. I had a hot, hibiscus tea which was delicious and sweet, with a warm ham and cheese croissant which was tasty as well. There was steady stream of patrons and their dogs behind me lined up for a treat in the shop, lined with elephant paintings. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area -- it's a nice option if you're in the area but want a quieter coffee/snack/neighborhood experience. read more

Simply Coffee is a small mom & pop coffee shop in Burbank. I came here on a rainy work day (yes, on the one day it rains in LA), and was greeted very warmly by the staff. There's maybe like 3 small round tables inside and a handful of tables outside in their patio space. I tried their Vanilla latte and am excited to try their other speciality lattes. Both drinks were delicious! It's nice to take your drinks to-go and just walk around the neighborhood. Lots of cool shops around the area. The croissant was just okay! I think it would've been more delicious if it was slightly warmed up. Employees were kind and helpful! I can definitely see why they have a good rating.
