Was in Philly for a work trip and stopped in here a few times to grab my morning coffee. First things first, the employees are super kind! The second morning I went in, the employee remembered my name and order which warmed my soul. I ordered a hot dirty chai latte and it was superior!!!! Definitely recommend trying it out if you like cinnamony, creamy coffee. I also got their chocolate croissant, which was baked fresh in the morning and that was as also really good. Their breakfast sandwiches look delish, but they run out super quick. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

Solid coffee, 9/10 on my coffee scale. I went in 30 minutes before closing and spent a while resting and was not rushed. Obviously this place would've been my default go to spot had they existed when I lived here.

I got the blash dirty chai latte (strawberry chai latte) and my daughter got latte. Both drinks were not tasty and didn't have nice espresso taste. The dirty chai latte has lots of syrup no taste of strawberry at all. I hardly could drink the whole cup and it was really pricey. Will never stop by at this coffee shop again. Dunkin has better taste and quality. But ı wanted to support small local cafe shops. Anyways , the only nice thing was the barista's making nice image on the lattes. The location is also nice because it is near the nice shopping areas.

I stopped in during lunch on a weekday - it was pretty empty but a cute space with some seating up by the window and in another room towards the back. I was promptly greeted by the friendly employee who also answered my questions about the specialty drinks - I asked if they were very sweet and he said about 8/10 but he said he would make it to what sweetness I wanted. Much appreciated! I went with the specialty latte cupids arrow - he prepared it very quickly and it looked and tasted great (not too sweet!)! He let me know the specialty drinks were about to rotate so I'll be back to check out the new ones soon.

Absolutely loved this cafe! We stopped by on our way for a day of shopping and it was the best decision. I really wish I would have remembered our coffee order but the menu has options for all coffee lovers. They also have a few baked goods that go perfect with your coffee (or tea). There's seating at the front of the cafe and more tables with seats in the back area. Customer service was great and I'm definitely adding this spot to my favs list!

I'm in town on business and needed a good coffee shop. After searching around the hotel I'm staying at, I found that Black Turtle Coffee had great reviews. Even though there were only a few comments, it still looked amazing. Both the ambiance and the coffee selection were impressive. When I walked in, I encountered an extremely friendly staff and spoke to one of the co-owners. The drink that I ordered was a cold brew with sugar-free caramel and a cold foam topped with black sea salt, called the Zeppelin Cold Brew. I would highly recommend stopping by if you are in town, heading off of Walnut onto 18th, and grabbing a coffee. The atmosphere is semi-industrial, with bar-top seating that overlooks the sidewalk so you can people-watch if you like, or an upstairs area with a few tables.

I don't think I've ever visited an an hour where I've seen it not. Often a line going from the counter, down the stairs, all the way to the bathroom. If you're looking for a quick coffee stop, don't expect to be in and out of here. That being said, they've got some kinds of seating not typical of coffee shops, including this nice long U-shaped couch seating. You'll be around with other folks reading or enjoying their joe, but it's a nice change of pace. Working-wise, wi-fi is solid. Outlets are sparse. Hard to stay a long time here. Music is at least at a tolerable level to tune out and is not usually too bumping. Staff here are quick, but won't be the friendliest. They won't be rude either. They're just trying to get through the line so don't take it personally Overall: would much prefer other places like Capital One Cafe for the reasons I visit cafes, but I can see this being a nice place for other more leisurely-natured visits!

It is a very small shop, so there are only a few tables inside, along with a few outside depending on the weather. Although small, the interior is clean and cozy. A single restroom is available. Parking is on the street. Mild noise level. They have a good amount of drink options, including rotating specials, as well as pastries, bread, and misc items like granola and coffee beans. The drinks are delicious - definitely recommend their matcha. The pastries are huge, flavorful, and filling. Slightly dry but I did go right before closing. They have a nice variety of flavors (both sweet and savory), so most palettes will be satisfied. Prices are definitely fair. If I weren't just a traveler passing through, this would easily become a regular spot for me. It's at least on the "must return to" list! 10/10 recommend.

We braved negative degree weather for the roughly 10 minute walk from our hotel. We walked in at a good time. This is the type of place where a reservation for breakfast would be required. We were sat immediately. The dining area is tight. A green velvet bench, marble tables, metal chairs, all packed into a small area. You could very well have your butt brush over the table of the patrons next to you if you have to get up for any reason. It's tight. Our server was around quickly. He was super friendly and kept things conversational, light and sophisticated. My wife ordered an iced latte, I had their hot drip coffee. For a starter, we had to try the cinnamon knot bread. While it wasn't what we were expecting, it was good. Although, we wouldn't order again. The bread is presented as a small loaf, room temperature with a cold cream cheese icing drizzled over top. The bread had a mild cinnamon flavor and was dry. It lacked the sweet, moist dough you expect from a cinnamon bread. My wife ordered the French style omelet. This had gruyere cheese and chives. Beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and the taste was spot on. It was good enough to forget that she paid $21 for just an omelet, no meat, no sides. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Pretty standard here. The eggs had bright orange yolks which is common for farm fresh eggs. The "coffee" hollandaise didn't come across with a coffee flavor but it was rich and went well with the ham and English muffins. One thing that stuck with me was their drip coffee. Not sure if it has been a while since I had a light roast but the Rival Bros. Revolver coffee was so good, I got a bag of whole beans to bring back home with me. I may even order it again online. Enswell succeeded on all fronts. The ambiance and service was great. The decor, impeccable. The food, thoughtful and tasty. The details from the silverware to the plates added to the experience. We would come back.

The style of the café was great with a modern and clean, yet warm enough to make those early morning hours seem somewhat purposeful, and not as rushed as they could be! If you're looking for breakfast options, it is slightly limited at this café. There were some muffins and baked goods available. My experience with El Café in The Hilton Mōttō was very good overall. I enjoyed the hot chocolate. It was rich, smooth and perfect comfort in the morning on the go. The customer service was also great! They were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Additionally, I thought the prices for their coffee and hot chocolate was reasonable. I'd stop by El Café again if I stay at the Hilton Motto.
