Update: A very nice and polite woman named Robin called me back at 4:30. She offered a choice between a credit or a remade pizza. She was very professional and polite. I'll give this location a second chance, everyone has a bad day now and again. Original: Order pizza. Pizza arrives, delivery guy refused to hand over pizza until receipt filled out. He's already 12 mins later then the estimated max time. All I have left to base his tip on is checking if said pizza is correct. Give good tip hoping for the best. Receive no receipt from said delivery guy. He hightails it. Go inside. Two pizzas correct, mine, missing the sauce. Yeaaaahhhhhhhh, the sauce. O_o Call the store, get hung up on instead of placed on hold, after explaining issue. Call back, same girl. Get flack from manager that no one should use their website to order. Sorry, I hate talking on the phone regardless of how polite I am. Get told with lots of attitude that they'll remake it, it'll be about an hour, and next time call to order. Maybe it helps to talk to an actual person over the phone or just order in-person, but this is the second time I took advantage of the convenience of online ordering and for the second time they got it wrong. I ordered one-half plain cheese, the second half pepperoni and black olive. The pizza arrived as one half pepperoni, the second half black olive. The online ordering function even lets you choose which half to put what toppings on, so unless they overlooked it, it seems like there's some tweaking to do with the online ordering system. In any case, the pizza arrived at the desired deliver time and it's still a decent pizza regardless. Just need to tighten up the ordering system/double-checking the orders are correct. read more

Their pizza is very good and they always send coupons so it's super affordable. But... their calzones are where it's at. The calzones are huge and they don't skimp on the toppings you pick for it. This evening we ordered a pizza and a salad using an online order. The confirmation email said estimated arrival would be 35 minutes. About an hour later we got an email notifying us that our order was assigned to a driver, and on the way. Seeing as we are only a few blocks away we got ready for dinner. After about a half an hour when our food hadn't arrived we called to inquire. They found our order but couldn't really figure out why it was taking so long. The manager- Jason, told us to call if our order wasn't up to standards. When it arrived the food was cold, the pizza was mashed in half with all of the toppings separated onto the other side of the box as if it had been dropped, and it was missing toppings we had ordered that were clearly marked on the box. After calling to let Jason know the status of our food, he without hesitation put in a new order for us, added a soda as a bonus and had it to us in 20 minutes hot and delicious. We get it, mistakes happen, we're all human...but we really appreciate you going above and beyond to correct this error and treat us so kindly! Thanks so much, Jason! read more

I ordered a pizza and asked for specific ingredients and they severely messed up and I specified that my husband has allergies. I called them to let them know and gave the manager our specific instructions. They sent the pizza late cold and wrong again. I called again and the girl hung up on me. I do not recommend this place. If I'm paying $72 ($10 tip) for 3 large pizzas and some wings I would expect for the wings to have SAUCE. Y'all gave me some naked wings. Food is amazing / the girl that takes the order is the worst. She said "fuck them" while we were on hold. We talked to the manager that was extremely accommodating and fixed the issue. I called back to place an order three months later, and she still was angry, aggressive, and nasty. Pretty average pizza, but pretty good prices. I placed a large order for a work event after a recommendations and although they were a few minutes late with the order, the staff was incredibly friendly and helped carry the pizzas to my car. The pizzas were fine, but nothing incredibly special. Yes I have order twice from Blackjack pizza at the Campbell location and on one occasion at Broadway location. Each time my order consisted of a small pizza and 6 wings. Just enough for two adults. I ordered 2 hours in advance, had to wait 30 minutes on premises for them to make pizza, which was not only incorrect all the way around, it was just awful! The salad was a disgrace. Do not order from Blackjacks on Campbell we ordered pizza tonight first off rude service on the phone she didn't listen to our order correctly and when the pizza arrived it was completely smashed and tasted disgusting and when we called to speak to the manager they kept ignoring the phone calls we literally called from a different phone and they answered we told them what happened tonight with our pizza and we were not happy about it especially after spending $70 on it and she kept putting us on hold and giving us the run around poor manager service and customer service I definitely do not recommend getting pizza from this company never again will we order from them read more

The pizza is quite good. However I have a problem with both the pay of the delivery drivers and how delivery fees and tips are handled. I was charged a $2.50 fee for a one mile road trip delivery on a $10.99 large pizza. None of the $2.50 fee went to the driver. The driver, I'm sure then expected a direct tip from me, upon delivery. I know I would as a driver earning, $6.50 per hour. Putting the math together with a reasonable tip, the large pizza would then cost around $17.50. Seems either the driver deserves more hourly pay or Blackjack Pizza needs to split the delivery fee with the driver. No more Blackjack pizza for me, unless this issue is addressed. Visiting Tucson, I searched Yelp for "open now" and based on the reviews I decided to try Blackjack Pizza. I did not have a good experience. Their hours are posted on Yelp and they say that they are open till midnight so I drove over there at 10:30 and the door was locked. A sign on the door says that the lobby closes at 10. They saw me out there but did not open the door or even come over and talk to me. I called and asked if I could get a pizza and they said "No, delivery only." I explained that their published hours on Yelp said that they were open till midnight, and they explained that they have no control over Yelp. This is a lie because the only way to get your hours posted on Yelp is to logon and post them. Yelp does not make up the hours. To make it even worse their phone is answered by an automated system that makes you listen to an extremely irritating advertisement every time you call. If you call back to ask why it is taking so long, you get to hear it again. When they finally came to the phone they were kind of rude but I ordered a pizza anyway because I was hungry. They quoted me $12.99 and took my credit card number. I didn't ask how long it would take but 30 minutes is the standard time. They did not tell me that it would be an hour. When the driver finally showed up he told me that they have closed at 10 for many years. Why don't they fix the posted hours? The pizza was OK but not worth $13, and the service was terrible. I will not be eating Blackjack Pizza again. read more

If you're looking for something like Giordanno's deep dish, keep looking. I ordered their large square deep dish with sausage, pepperoni, and green peppers for $12.99. It's flavorless and uninspiring. How on earth do you make make pepperoni and sausage flavorless!? A good sauce can make up for a lot, but no luck there either. Alright, so this review is a bit unconventional considering how I didn't actually eat any pizza. But to make a long story short: my husband set his phone on top of my car and I drove off. It fell off somewhere along Campbell. While we were trying to figure out how to find it I got a call from Cory at this location explaining that he had found the phone on Campbell and that he would leave it at the store for us to get. You don't see that kind of generosity these days. Especially someone picking up a mostly smashed iPhone out of the middle of a busy road and calling the owner. Why I even considered giving this place a second chance is beyond me, The night time "manager" Sarah was completely rude and stated they close at midnight now, despite it being over an hour after closing she was answering calls! Without being able to explain the reasoning behind it. I am a huge fan of this place, solely because of their food. Their customer service is another story. I usually come here once a month and I order a large pizza with pepperoni for my friends and I. Their food is seriously on point. I love the way they make it here and their RANCH is so good! I could eat here everyday if I could. But I don't, because then, that would be bad. :3 However, that's not to say their service is god awful. After reading the reviews on Yelp for this place I was a little hesitant about ordering from them, but they were the most convenient and none of the complaints were about the food so I decided to take a chance, and I was well rewarded. I used the blackjack website to order online at 5:30pm for pick-up and I got a medium pizza, cheese sticks and a salad for under $23! The website said that the food would be ready in 15 min but I couldn't make it there until 30 min later which was fine because the pizzas were ready by then and they put my salad together quick. So I'd caution against believing the 15 min website estimation. I'd agree with the other reviews that there are some young adults working there, but there were clearly 2 mature adults who were the managers and attentive with their customer service. Overall, I'd give them a 4 on service but if I could give a 6 I would because the food was really that good. I'd say if you're not trying to get pizza in the middle of the night (as some of the other reviews were) then this is a solid place to get good pizza for a reasonable price. read more

I have had Blackjack pizza a couple times and it was good! However, my experience with Blackjack today ensured I will never eat their pizza again. I placed an order through their website and I was advised it would take approximately 30 minutes. An hour later and very hungry, I called the location and the guy said "Oh...the fax just came in. Yeah, it's not even in the oven yet." I very politely asked if he could cancel my order since it would take at least another 30 minutes and I was beyond hungry. He told me he was very sorry but I'd have to go online to cancel it. This was a further pain, but was able to cancel it through Campus Special (their online ordering service). So disappointing that they don't seem to check their online orders; if you're not going to honor them, don't offer the service! I'll never order from here again. read more

Ordering from this place was a huge mistake. The pizza was mediocre at best. The guy that delivered it forgot the napkins and soda. I asked where it was, and his reply was he forgot them. I may be fortunate having read reviews prior to ordering from here but the PAN pizza (square shaped) is absolutely delicious! For the price it's stellar and the only way to do better is to order gourmet or wood fired. (That said we have tried several other pizza places more expensive and claiming to be gourmet and this is way better.) I have NOT tried the other crust and based on other reviews probably won't. We order WELL DONE and it comes cooked perfectly and hot. Delivery can take a bit and though we've seen deliveries arrive in half the quoted time, it's never taken longer. If you need it faster, pickup has never taken longer than 20 minutes. Also, the delivery people are polite and always bring whatever extras we request. They usually have good coupons or specials right on their website too. Winner! read more
