Double meat bacon with green chili's.

We tried to place a order online but had a bit of difficulty trying to check out so we just stopped in and placed the order instead. My burger was perfect and transported to Arroyo Secco all stayed in perfect form. The bacon was perfectly cooked and thick slices as well all produce was crisp and not wilted. Looked like a food prop it was delicious as well as it was pretty. The place was freshly cleaned and all the tables were wiped down. The bathroom was also clean.I went to change my top and wash my hands and was very pleasantly surprised by this.Staff was polite and effective. Hate to say it but back home everyone goes on and on about how amazing Whataburger is but it's bad it's gone downhill unfortunately and has become lackluster over the past few years.. I will miss Blake's juicy patty and fat buns. Blake's is greater than Whataburger. Fite me.

We were in Toas and had a craving for burgers. This is a convenient location and has a large parking lot since we drive a very large truck this is always a consideration. My husband had The Mexican Lota Burger and I just had the Lota Burger. They were excellent. Meals come with fries and drink. We both had a chocolate shake. I read the history of Blake's Lotaburger. Cool story. I never knew how famous they were in New Mexico. We would definitely come here again.

*GET THE NEW MEXICO STYLE BURGER* My first time here and we liked it. The customer service was nice and the cook even came out to ask if our burgers were good. I get that Taos is really laid back but it's been my experience that they want people to have a good experience here. I suggest eating on location so you can enjoy your soda refills and enjoy the mountain views.

Warning first...This is a frustrated customer. Seen a lot of these burger joints in NM and had been wanting to try for a bit now. I went here to check it out and man...you have to be kidding me. I ordered a lotta burger...regular. It took 20 mins! People were getting there orders before me after ordering after me. One burger. They lost the receipt for my order and just saw me staring at them and never bother to ask what did I order. 4 staff in the food joint and wow were they slow. After eating the burger...it was nothing special especially after watching them thrown on the grill frozen beef patties. Overall: This joint specific has to work on their food delivery time since it is a fast food joint. As for the food...skip this place people. Wendys, McD, burger king are all better options.

10/05/19. The staff here seems to not be on their game, we placed our order of two itsa combos and one lota combo. We received our cups and went to the patio to enjoy the fall sun. We kept our eye on the person who ordered before us, so we knew when we would be next. Went to check a few minutes later, we were told it's not ready and they would announce the number. Back to the patio we went. After awhile we went back in, because no numbers have been announced, and they said our food has been ready for 10 minutes, we'll now it's all cold. We were hungry, so we kept the fries and onion rings while they were remaking the burgers. We decided to move inside, and wait, after about 15 minutes we went to check on our replacement, and they have had a change of staff and had no idea what we were talking about! WTF!! They had us write our order on a piece of paper, and gave it to the line cook. He did get in it right away, but the order wasn't correct! Figured it wasn't worth trying to get it corrected again. Should have gotten a refund and went to Guadalajara. Lesson learned.

They are also dog friendly on the outdoor patio, which we really appreciated! Just keep in mind that the wait for outdoor seating can be a bit longer. We ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast and huevos rancheros, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were seasoned so well. I also tried the Maya hot chocolate, which was delicious, along with the sparkling cranberry juice. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we grabbed a few pastries from the front beforehand . They were all so good, but the savory goat cheese and tomato pastry was definitely a favorite. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and quality of the food. Between the atmosphere, great service, and delicious food, this was definitely a place we'd come back to!

Our server, Chaniece, absolutely made the experience. I told her I wanted to order some of the most authentic Spanish dishes on the menu, and she came through perfectly. If you have questions about the menu, ask for her recommendations--you won't be disappointed. My partner ordered Martin's Breakfast Burrito, and I had the huevos rancheros. Both were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. Michael's Kitchen is only open Wednesday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., so plan accordingly. We arrived around 9:30 on a Sunday morning and had about a 30 minute wait. It was busy, but the wait was actually enjoyable because the restaurant has several little nooks filled with antiques and artwork by local artists. There was plenty to look at, and the time passed quickly. Taos has many wonderful mom and pop restaurants, but from what I learned during our visit, there are fewer locally owned restaurants serving traditional Spanish cuisine. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try all of them, but I'm very happy we chose Michael's Kitchen. Between the authentic food the welcoming atmosphere and Chaniece's outstanding service, it was one of the highlights of our visit to Taos.

UP TO DATE REVIEW! March, 12th, 2026…read more Today, Thursday at 6:00pm, I arrived at the El Monte Sagrado living Resort and Spa. The architecture of this place is very distinctive to Taos and its aesthetics, so it was very welcoming in its nature. After checking in at the restaurant I was then seated very kindly at a table that was neatly displayed and arranged. Everything was clean and crisp making the physical experience comforting. Besides that, the real question is how is the food? My initial thought was how beautiful the food looked! It was visually creative but still refined for plating. Presentation wise, it was quite impeccable. I was faced with some seasonal dishes that were expertly curated for flavorful taste. The dishes nuanced smoothly with robust umami essences and delicate savory kicks! The experience of the food left all my sensations arresting. It was meticulously executed and left me very satisfied as a customer. Overall I had an immersive dining experience that would only lead to my recommendations to others. The other reviews really make this restaurant an understated luxury. Durring a previous visit I also had a brief but impactful experience with the chef, Cristina Martinez. She is as iconic as she sounds with her deep roots in New Mexico. From my personal intrest I found out that she attended Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and graduated with honors in 2006. The college heavily focuses on precision knife work, classic sauces, plating discipline, and traditional culinary terminology. You can tell that she puts love into the work she accomplishes and reflects authentic New Mexican family traditions while keeping things professional. I can not express how wonderful it was to meet her and know the generative mind behind all the transcendent dishes! I hope whoever reads this review finds it helpful and intuitive to your needs! your's truly Savannah Romero.
