We called Blaze and after a maze of auto-voices, we were finally connected to a line supervisor, who told us that he is busy and can't deal with us now. This is my new favorite quick and casual restaurant! Holy yummy, this place is delicious! It is kinda like the Subway or Pizza joints. You walk in and order at the counter. They have some great signature pizzas to pick from or you can create your own. All pizzas are 12" and they have gluten-free crust available too. The pizzas are all $7.85 (or close to that). You order and walk along the bar with them as they put all the toppings on your pizza. Then you pay at the register and have a seat. They take about 3-7 minutes cooking your pizza in the wood-fire oven. The pizza is very thin crust and the marinara is on point. Perfect marinara if you ask me. This pizza is super delicious. I definitely recommend one pizza per person. Bonus points for Blaze for having Blue Sky sodas in their soda fountain. YUM. read more

This place is awesome! It's like a chipotle style ordering where you can pick your own toppings for your pizza and then it is wood fired right in front of you. The service is excellent and makes you feel welcomed. The environment is great and lastly the cost is very reasonable. Pick and choose your toppings and they put your pizza together in front of you. Unlimited toppings for $7.85. Plain cheese pizza for $5. Crazy hot oven cooks your pizza to order in 3 minutes. The pizza is pretty good. Thin crusted, crunchy, well seasoned sauce. They're a good size too. My husband, daughter and I got 2 and shared them. Husband says he could definitely eat a whole one. I would guess they're 8-10" around, but super thin. They've only been open for a week or so. There are definitely some service issues that'll need to be dialed in, but if they can get their flow down a little better, it'll be a great addition to the area. More stars could come, but not until they can tighten up the ship a little. read more

Our favorite pizza place in town (Asheville AND Arden). They have a great family-friendly atmosphere in a cleanly decorated and spacious industrial-style setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Even when the place is packed we've never had a problem finding a table and the staff is always very friendly (we're talking about you, Joe!) and accommodating. Now let's talk about my favorite thing about it: the food! You can make-your-own pizza or pick a tried-and-true favorite from the menu and both options are excellent! Everyone gets what they want and the wait time is minimal. From ordering to eating, I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes, which is fabulous when you have a hungry toddler in tow. This place doesn't get the credit or kudos it deserves, imho, so go check it out. read more

Horrible! Love the concept and have eaten here in the past. Always enjoyed it. Came in today and built my pizza and as usual indicated that I did not want my crust burnt. When the man called us to pick up everything looked ok but when I got to the table the crust was black. It was burnt so bad that there was no eating it. When I went back to the counter and asked about this the guy, who seemed to care less, said that he could remake my pizza but the result would be the same. I was surprised but at that point realized this guy did not care at all so I simply got my money back and left. In the past they always managed to not burn the crust, same toppings, but this time just couldn't pull it off. It was very disappointing. read more

You get to choose from several signature pizzas that are all delicious on their own and then walk with it down the line and pick from at least 30 additional sides. It was super quick and the ingredient selection was huge and very yummy. A 12 inch pizza is $8 and feeds two people. That's a really good deal, in my opinion. The pizza is good like always. Rachel needs to learn customer service and leave the attitude somewhere else. You work at a place where she has to listen to what the customer wants on their pizzas. When the cheese is empty and you're having to scape it up and I ask for more dont have an attitude. Just left from lunch. I had an issue with the pizza and couldn't eat it. I told the manager (mid 20s, dark hair, olive complexion), he explained what happened, apologized and replaced it without question. Very nice and professional. Also, I have an allergy to something and asked the girl to replace her gloves, no problem. The manager, along with the other staff, were cleaning the restaurant and workstations when they weren't busy. The only constructive criticism are the chairs outside are so small and uncomfortable. Frankly it is FAST FOOD. Enough said. First time i went the vegan pizza had a lot if cheese, but now they give u about a teaspoon of each ingredient. And they charge $3 for gluten free pizza! Pleasantly surprised when we dropped by for dinner tonight. There was a bit of a line, but it was prime dinner time. The line moved pretty fast and it allowed us to figure out what to order. Staff here are friendly and welcoming. The person (with green hair) working on the dough smiled and waved to my daughter through the window. They use your name for your order (not just to shout out your name when it is ready) to say, "How are you doing today, Catherine?" Which I thought was a nice touch. During our meal, a young man came out to ask how everything was and if he could get us anything else. Pretty well-organized and run considering it is new. They definitely have hired good, friendly, respectful staff and seem to have trained them well - which isn't the case in a lot of restaurants in the area. We ordered the Linkin (sausage, red peppers onions) and the White Top (white sauce, bacon, arugula, as well as a cheese pizza for my 3 y.o. daughter. Interior was spacious and clean, a bit on the noisier side, but we didn't mind it much. Pizzas were really quite tasty. They make them as you move through the line, fire them up as you pay and within minutes, they call your name. Sausage pizza had a lot of flavor. The sausage itself is chunky and has a nice, well-rounded meaty flavor, not too spicy or greasy. The red sauce is on the sweeter side and complimented it well, along with the sweet onions. The White Top pizza was also good and the fresh arugula was a nice contrast. My only wish is that the bacon was a bit more thick and smoky. There is some awesome premium bacon out there. When I want bacon, I want the real bad for you stuff. A lot of these assembly line style places have bacon that tastes a little like bacon bits to me. Too one note and consistent. But don't get me wrong, the White Top still was a good pizza. I liked that you could have a thicker crust, which was perfect for the sausage. The crust itself was great, light, crisp, a bit chewy. I was impressed! My 3 y.o. ate her cheese pizza up and she gave her stamp of approval. All in all, good food, made fresh, well-priced and well-run. They are onto something here. I've eaten at similar places in Los Angeles (like Pieology) and Blaze is better than the fast-casual, made to order pizza I tried back home. We will definitely be back! SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!! I called to order, because the online ordering would not allow me to pay with any method but google pay, which was not set up for me. So, I called and ordered a BIRTHDAY LUNCH for my daughter and her co-workers in a nearby Doctor's office. I placed the order, gave the payment, paid for Door Dash, left a tip for them on my card an hour early. Fifteen minutes after the order was supposed to be delivered, I called, and they did not have it. I called Blaze, and they said the order was sitting there because nobody had called Door Dash. I told them this was a problem because the person I spoke with already took the money and charged a door dash fee and tip, he said he would like to finish. I asked him, how are we going to get the food delivered, he said I will refund the money.
