So the place is similar to like chipotle where you get to make your own pizza and customize it in that sense unlike a buffet styled line. They have your normal options and then they also have like some really good recommendations. I will say their sausage is very good Also their pizza dough is good too. It's on the thinner side and well done. It's nice and crispy. In terms of ambience, it's a big open space seats a lot of people I could see them being very busy during like a lunch rush but when we went at 8 PM, they weren't very busy. Maybe two other people in the store. My only complaint is truly the customer service. The girls that work there didn't necessarily seem thrilled. It felt very condescending in a weird way like for example, I asked if I could replace the bacon on a pizza with mushrooms instead and I was told no so I just basically made the same pizza from scratch but it wasn't without an attitude from one of the girls. My husband paid for the meals and didn't get the receipt and when he asked for it, she was annoyed with the fact that she had to reprint it. We've ordered take out a few times - quality is ok but food is consistent! We usually ask for thin crust. I really wished they didn't use red onion (everyone knows you enjoy that raw) but that's prob my only complaint to be honest. They are perfectly individually sized pies so everyone can get the toppings they want. I also usually order salad on the side - perfect to share. Of all the BUILD YOUR OWN pizza spots in S.Florida I personally think Blaze is a cut above the rest. I live all the way in Parkland but will happily drive past both Mods and Pieology to go to Blaze. I think they're sauce is richer/more seasoned than the others and their ingredients always look really fresh too. Blaze has always been my favorite out of the dozen make your own pizza restaurants! There is just something about their pizza that makes it better than all the rest. This was the first time I had been to this location, and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend and I came on a Friday night, and this place was packed! Luckily, they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the service is so quick that we didn't even notice. You start at the beginning of the line by choosing your pizza crust, and we each ordered the unlimited toppings classic crust pizza. They also offer a thicker crust, a keto diet compatible crust, and a gluten free option. You go down the line and choose your sauce next. I went with the classic red sauce, while my boyfriend made a white pizza with pesto sauce added on top. Next comes the cheese (aka the BEST part). I went simple and just had the shredded mozzarella and then added some mozzarella chucks. My boyfriend went all out with those too and added some goat and gorgonzola as well. You then move down to the meat and veggie toppings. You can choose from a variety of options from bacon to ham to pepperoni to spinach to peppers to onions to mushrooms, etc. There is something for everyone! The staff was super efficient and kept the line moving. Once you make it to the end, they take your pizza and put it in their oven to cook. You can then choose your drink of either fountain soda, several lemonades, beer, or wine. They really do have it all! Our pizza only took about 7 minutes to cook, and then we were ready to enjoy! Been here several times now and it has always been busy at both lunch and dinner. As you walk in to this well lit place you see a bunch of pizza suggestions on the wall you can choose from but the best part is the build your own Pizza which is what I always get. The double pizza is my fav as I like a slightly thicker crust with the Alfredo topping plus a load of their meats and fresh vegetables. I came during the soft opening in which Blaze was offering a free pizza to everyone. Blaze has a few signature pies or a BYO(build your own) option. I am all about toppings so i always go the BYO route. The place was staffed to the brim and they were doing a great job moving the line and getting everyones pie perfect. It's been a while since I've been here, and I went in for the garlic knots, and I also was interested in a pepperoni pizza with the spicy sauce. I was disappointed because they did not have garlic knots anymore, and they substituted some type of a garlic cheese flatbread with pesto sauce on it. While there was nothing wrong with the bread itself, I wouldn't say I liked it, and I would've preferred the garlic knot. The pizza itself came out precisely the way I wanted it, and I found the sauce to be so little too spicy, and for me to think it's too spicy, it's got to be pretty spicy because I like spice. This is my first time at this location and I'll definitely be coming back! I like to make my own and got the cauliflower crust (get it with a pesto crust!!!!!) and like to add lots of toppings while my boyfriend picked one of the signature pizzas! There's so many different options and something for everybody and if you're not a pizza person they also have salads! This place was packed on the weekend so it was heavily staffed when I visited but it moved very slow with one person on the line building up the pizza. I'm pleasantly surprised by this place. I was invited by yelp to give it a try. The way they make the pizza simply weird, it looks more like the assembly line in Subway , than a pizzeria. The dough is pressed with a machine and then you pick the ad-ons from something that resembles a salad bar- it's actually quite funny. Then the pizza goes into the oven. Normally this is our go to. We were the only party in the store. Patiently waited in line. The girl behind the counter ignored us and did not take our order and made to go orders. After 20 minutes she finally helped us. She made my daughters pizza placed in the oven then proceeds to do other orders. She then did my wife put it in the over. Walking in the gentlemen explained all the pizza crust options (regular, thick, cauli, keto) as well as the choices with toppings. It's relatively simple, you pick a crust, sauce, and toppings and they stick it in the oven. Within a few mins they call your name and it's ready! They also have a wide selection of toppings and if you're in a mood not to make a lot of decisions, just choose from one of the ready-made pizzas. Today I got the Meat Eater and added the balsamic glaze to it. The "finishes" are really good. You basically ask them to put something on top at the end after it comes out of the oven. Add Blaze's new West Boca location to the list of growing BYO pizza joints in town. 5 mins from my house, I couldn't be more excited! I've always heard great things about Blaze, and this was my first visit to any. The concept is simple. Start on the left with your crust/sauce base and move along right adding your toppings. This is the crux of the BYO idea. But for someone like me who gets overwhelmed with too many options (chief reason I avoid Walmart and settle for the smaller Aldi), you can just select from their Signature Pizzas menu, which already has the toppings selected for you! There are 9 different choices on this menu, and they cover almost every topping that Blaze has, from crumbled meatballs to banana peppers. You'll also find different sauce bases like pesto, bbq and white cream sauce. And of course, as it is a BYO restaurant, you can still make adjustments to the Signature Pizzas. I added roast garlic to my "Red Vine" selection, which already came with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, basil, red sauce, and olive oil. Yay! So happy to have a Blaze location in West Boca. I went to the soft opening and it was awesome. A little crowded since everyone has eagerly awaiting this location to open. Tons of staff and everyone was friendly and helpful. We will, for sure, be frequent visitors here. Everything was fresh and delicious, as once can expect from Blaze. Pizzas, salads and desserts. Everything was sampled and everything was excellent. It was the first day open so there is going to be a learning curve but based on what I experienced, I am very satisfied. This is on trend right now: build your own everything. Blaze offers some pies as suggestions, like the Red Vine, or you can choose your toppings. A simple red pie comes at one price, and the price goes up for for topping and then again for two. It's $8.99 for unlimited toppings. I like that they have an option to get a half pizza with a salad or dough knots if you like to dabble in both like me. I liked the crust. I prefer it to Mod's. I just didn't like my customer service experience. They were a bit snippy. She asked if I had any questions, and I assume she didn't hear my reply, so she said "guess not" and literally walked away.
