The service at this location is less than par. We walked in and no one greeted us or asked if we were ordering or picking up. One worker was on the prep area and one at the oven. 4 others were cleaning. We waited for a good 10 minutes before I decided to asked if we could be helped and that we were their to pick up an order. We finally got our order. I gave 3 stars for the quality of the pizza. The service need some work probably the worst service I've received in a long time.

This location of Blaze Pizza is in the Claremont Village area. They are conveniently located by the parking structure with a back door right by the structure or the front door facing Indian Hill. They have a small outdoor seating area and spacious seating inside. My parents and I came in the early evening before peak dinner time. The restaurant was empty and we were the only customers in line. That was good for us because my parents were contemplating which toppings they wanted and not having people behind us allowed us to take our time. We all got our own Build Your Own Pizza ($13.99/each). The pricing has definitely increased a lot throughout the years. The build your own model is made so that you should enjoy it when you enjoy the items you pick. Give it to my mom to ruin such a great concept. She picked all the things she likes and somehow decided she didn't like it.. .. .. Sigh... I guess the creator has to consider balance. I am noting that this is *user error* and no fault of the restaurant. Because she loved my pizza. My dad also enjoyed because he ate his whole pizza, minus some of the crust. My creation was the regular crust, classic marinara, shredded mozzarella, and ovalini mozzarella, sausage, chicken, bacon, red peppers, basil, garlic bits, and whole roasted garlic. A little bland because things were hectic and I didn't get a chance to tell them to add my bbq sauce. When my parents are around I'm too stressed taking care of their needs first. Upon check out I had a little delay with staff because they had issues applying coupons I had. It was expiring at the end of the year so I had to use it. Thankfully the manager on the shift was able to resolve it but it took a while. Overall a good experience if you understand your own preferences. It's definitely getting more and more expensive through the years but the customization is nice.

Picked up an order on 5/15/2026 and found this white plastic in my salad. Contacted customer support in the mobile app but no response, no support was provided.

Went at 11am on a weekday. Service was good, and my pizza tasted good, too. But it was very very cold inside so my pizza got cold fast.

Always appeciate the build your own pizza. We hope they clean the oven often to avoid having burnt crust.

This is my main pizza connection and for a while service and quality had gone downhill. However I went on 3.14 for the Pi BoGo & it was awesome! They were fully staffed and my pizza come o it steaming hot and perfect! Whatever you they did differently that day needs to be the standard all the time. My pizza was absolutely delicious and I hope they taste this good moving forward

Blaze Pizza is located in Claremont next to Keck Graduate Institute. It's a chain and reminiscent of &pizza on the east coast. There's free slanted parking nearby and is easy to walk to. Also, Blaze has a lunch special from M-F where you can get 1/2 a pizza with a drink for $7.99. You can customize your pizza or order one that's already on the menu. The people working behind the counter are pretty accommodating and nice. Although the pizza came out quick, the prices are a bit high for the size and quality. The pizza itself was flavorful, but the crust was a little grainy and burnt. The grapefruit lemonade was the perfect amount of sweet and refreshing. Also, the line moves fast, and it's very convenient. There's also plenty of seating inside and is good for a casual lunch with a friend or a small group.

Another beautiful day is So Cal and another Blaze pizza visit. This time the Claremont location. This Blaze is located in the Claremont Village area of Claremont. It is an area with a ton of shopping and eateries around, pretty cool area. This location is a corner location and quite large, it has a raised shuffleboard game inside the restaurant which is fun. Service here is quick as most as, staff behind the counter were friendly. They have 6 different beers on tap as well as self serve beverages. Great spot for lunch or anytime. I did notice inside their pizza oven they had the cities name in the back, which I thought was cool and not sure I have ever noticed that at other locations, but I will start looking. My order was my usual, original crust, red sauce, fresh mozzarella, not shredded, lots of basil, oregano, no added extra salt and olive oil drizzle. So good and lets me enjoy without a ton of sodium, which is great. Check out the Village area and grab some pizza at Blaze. Enjoy!

$4 for a bottle of water. Absolutely insane. Price gouging at its finest. Thank you blaze pizza Claremont.

They have a Pickle Pizza (don't knock it 'til you try it) that is just out of this world! I honestly haven't had anything bad there. The patio is well-covered, so if anyone is trying to stay out of the sun, they've thought of that. Kelly took care of my friend and I, as we decided to go to Claremont instead of braving the crowds at The Upland Lemon Festival this past Sunday. Kelly was an absolute ray of sunshine and took great care of us. We spent a good amount of the afternoon chilling on their patio sipping on Sangiovese, and snacking on the Corn & Tortilla Dip, as well as the Pork Belly appetizer. All were wonderful! NOTE: For the next month or two, their menu will be slightly limited, as they are renovating their kitchen. There's still PLENTY of great stuff to choose from and enjoy, though.

They've got indoor and outdoor seating and they seemed a touch understaffed for being a beautiful day. It was also a Tuesday lunchtime so maybe they weren't expecting it to be as busy as it was. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese. Pepperonis were greasy, but in a real meat kind of way. I had to dab mine, but my husband just went to town on his. The pickled peppers is a pickled jalapeño. Big chunks of them. They certainly didn't skimp on any of the toppings. They were a little sweet and a little hot. Some of the big chunks were a little too sweet for my liking but overall, it was a nice flavor mix Also from a size standpoint, I thought the salad and pizza were very adequate for lunch at around $20 price point I asked for salt and pepper again as well as a side of ranch. This time we did get the salt and pepper as well as cheese and crushed red pepper. But we didn't get the ranch until we were leaving. The server did apologize and said he thought someone else was bringing it out but I pretty much deducted a star because we asked for a couple different things that never came. Overall, the service was super friendly, the ambience was nice for an outdoor lunch thought. I thought the menu looked delicious and there were several things I would like to come back and try and I would go back again.

It was so underwhelming. 2 eggs cooked differently, one over hard, one over easy, 5-6 potato pieces and the steak was thin, overcooked, and appeared to be a cheap cut of meat. A New York cut would have been great. Wife mentioned norms has better steak and eggs. Called and spoke with a manager Stephanie, not looking for anything, but to express disappointment in the meal for the high price. She offered to mail a gift card for us and invited us back. A friend and I ordered the Bee Kind pizza on their Mini Monday special which is a 6x6 Detroit style pizza, a side of onion rings, and a couple of IPAs to wash it all down with. I've never had Detroit style pizza mainly because it never really interested me (not a fan of thick doughy pizza) and I already know based on the "real" Detroit style pizzas that I've seen, this isn't that. In fact, it was thinner than I expected but no complaints here. Anyway, it was absolutely bangin'. Big bold flavors that jump out and is very rich. This pizza satisfied my craving for SURE. The 6x6 sounded a lot bigger on paper, but it was actually pretty small when it came out. It's a good snack for 2 people, but for 1 person it would definitely be filling. Their onion rings were FIRE. Seriously. Some of the best onion rings I've had in a long time. Very well seasoned breading and perfectly cooked. The breading was crispy, but not crunchy. I love craggly, thick onion rings, but sometimes those do a number on the roof of your mouth. These? I could eat 'em all day. Service was great although it did kinda take a little too long for the food to come out, but I guess it was worth the wait. I love the inside of the space too.
