Everyone working here has an attitude. They don't acknowledge the customer. I asked them if they could add pesto before the marinara (Pasadena and La Canada do this for me) and not only did they not do it they don't even respond. So I ask again. They mumble no. They don't even look at me. Now it's super awkward and I don't really even want my pizza. Sure enough the rest of the order continues to be just really difficult. It wasn't just the first girl. Now the next person (putting the toppings on) sighs super loudly and rolls her eyes every time I ask for something. Is it that hard to do your job when you're at your workplace?! I actually enjoyed Blaze Pizza quite nicely but my bf who is not a fan of cheese prefers the competition. The reason why I gave this location 3 stars even though the food deserves 4 stars is because of 2 employees who work at Blaze. These two individuals are not professional and set a bad example for the company. One of them (the one who calls out the names) had an attitude the entire time I was there and even tried arguing with a customer who pointed out a burned crust that it suppose to be this way. Who burned the crust? The other incompetent employee manning the oven! He was so engrossed in the fact that his wife/gf and his kids were there apparently waiting for him to get off work that he spent the entire time having a loud conversation with them across the room while not paying attention to the oven. For a hot minute I though they were actually arguing and she was going to come across the counter and tell him how she really feels. ordering process took too long, too many people in the front doing nothing and they were doing each others jobs. For example, there's like 5 people in the front, first person asks what kind of pizza you want then passes you on to the sauce guy (who puts sauce on your pizza very messy, he had to wipe some off my dough because it splat) then passed it on to the meat person then veggie person then there's a last person who just gives the uncooked pizza to the cook. too many people and it slows down ordering. second my pizza was burnt on the bottom. i've tasted better. read more

The novelty of something new and decent in the mall is making for long lines. Soon the novelty will wear off and you'll have to earn it. Pizza dough is great. The service here is absolutely horrendous. Not only are the workers inconsiderate and stingy, but they're also incredibly unhygienic. The woman putting cheese on my pizza was mopping before she offered to put on the cheese and didn't even change her gloves. They were out of basil and said it would take thirty more minutes for them to chop some off. They also messed up my sauce and had to restart the pizza. The last time I was here, they burned my pizza and did not know how to cook the gluten free dough. The pizzas are always good but the service is HORRIBLE at this location! The servers look like they were all hung over and moving in slow motion. I waited forever for my GF dough but the guy actually dropped it on the floor. They were out of mushroom, grilled chicken. The pizza is so good. My daughter's favorite thing about the mall is now Blaze. Its so good that we even eat the crust, which we normally don't do. I've been to other blaze pizzas before but this one is by far the worst. They had burned my pizza and hadn't even advised me about the situation. They took the initiative to remake my pizza which at first I thought was great since they reassured me they got all the toppings but then it was brought out and I didn't even recognize it was my pizza. So I had to once again go through the pizza making process and wait a third time for my pizza to be cooked. They did give me the option to keep the 2nd pizza but I refused I honestly just wanted my pizza not a different one with toppings I don't even like. They also gave me a s'mores pie for my wait but Blaze is supposed to be Blazing Fast and your pizza should be done in 180 seconds NOT in 30mins definitely sticking to the Blaze at The Farmers Market. read more

By far the worst experience at a Blaze Pizza I have ever experienced. I was a loyal customer who consistently received great customer service at other locations throughout the greater Los Angeles area..in fact some were above and beyond. However, when I went I noticed that the Glendale Galleria location was messy (especially where the toppings were). I tried to look it over since the pizza was being built already and it was a Sunday but I was paying attention to the way employees were handing food. I noticed an employee by the name of Melanie using the register with gloves on and then going back to put toppings on my sister's pizza. I waved down the man at the oven (who was also unfriendly) and asked him if employees should change gloves after using the register before handling food. He said yes. I explained that Melanie had failed to do so and he went over to tell her discretely. She placed the pizza to the side to be cooked, came over to me and said with an attitude, "I didn't handle cash just so you know". Ummm...I was watching her every move the ENTIRE time and I know that she didn't handle cash. That's not the point. The point is she was touching the register (which have had dirty cash hands touching it throughout the day) and digging her hands back into the toppings and thinking it was ok. She was taking shortcuts and I don't appreciate that when it comes to the food I'm paying for. I would have liked for some customer service and ownership of the issue to be resolved..but instead she was defensive and unwelcoming. Had she owned up and fixed it, I would have let it go. I decided not to create a scene and finished my transaction reluctantly. After I asked for a receipt I noticed the name on it said "Guadalupe" but her cap said "Melanie" so whatever she goes by, she is a reflection of the type of leadership (or lack thereof) at this place and I will not be back. read more

They are getting cheaper and cheaper and cheaper about the amounts of things they put on. And I don't ask for much either! They used to use some cup to measure out the cheese. Now they are putting it on a spoon. A female manager/supervisor walked up to the person that was putting cheese on the person and embarrassed them in the middle of a line of customers (sort of scolding them) about how to measure it on the spoon and then throw some of it off the spoon and then place it in your hand and on the pizza. This is NOT the first time I have seen a supervisory staff member inappropriately talk with a staff member in front of customers at this location. I have been to three locations and never have seen this happen at either of the other ones. I still think they put out a decent product and because there is a line, it is fresh because they are going through their food bins on the line pretty quickly. I just don't like how they have become increasingly stingy in comparison to other locations. It makes it less desirable a place to come to. I would rather them raise the prices than become stingy. They are making it less pleasant to want to come here. And that is too bad because for me it is a go-to type of place. read more

They had lots of different salads on the menu, but only had caesar prepared in the fridge. When it was my turn, I was pointing to the food under the glass but I wasn't even touching the food (coz it was my first time as I've said), then I was told by the lady server to stop it. Well talk about customer service, u pay to get humiliated and disrespected coz u look poor (and I bought 2 build yr own pizza). For the office admin, better review the performance of your staff. Minus one star for service problems. Build your own pizza place with great toppings and super affordable. The ingredients taste great, it's super fast and the pizza crust is perfect. Final product is usually awesome. BUT the employees at this Blaze are ridiculously immature. Every single time I come to this Blaze, something weird is happening behind the counter. Once, saw some employee spill an entire box of olive oil and let it CONTINUE TO GUSH when he could've just ADJUSTED the box to stop the flow. Probably 3/4 of the entire thing went to waste on the dough machine (it'll be damaged for a while) until a female employee ran over to tilt the box. Simple fix, idiot. Instead, a bunch of guys just stood there and watched it gush while they laughed at each other. Dumb and such a waste. Then, another time, saw 3-4 employees crouched under the counter clearly snacking on some crunchy snack. Each time, a employee would come up and say "damn, that is some really good stuff. Hey hey, you gotta try this" and then another employee would go under. Seriously? You people don't think is noticeable? And then after they stuff their face whatever the heck they're fawning over, they touch your pizza... Sigh. Hire some responsible employees and this place would be awesome. read more

They have some suggested combinations or you can have them make your pizza from scratch, choosing from a variety of sauces, maranara, spicy, bbq, olive oil, and a variety of toppings. You get to watch them make your 11 inch pizza. You may have to order double meat if you want just one kind of meat, otherwise they may just give you 5 pepperoni slices. Cooks in just 3 minutes. Neither my wife nor I could finish one, but hey have boxes for to go. They start with sauce then cheese. My friend seemed to make his extra good by ordering extra cheese on top also. read more

The pizza here is so good! It is a thin crust and you can choose from one topping, build your own, simple ( just cheese and sauce) or their signature. I ate here with my uncle and daughter. My uncle and I chose to build our own and of course my daughter just chose pepperoni. I definitely recommend the build your own because there are so many ingredients to choose from. The size was bigger than I expected too! Good enough for one person and still have some left over LOL! We also got some s'more pies that were also very good. The lemonades are also really good. They have four different kinds. I got a mint one but can't remember the other ingredients it had in it and the one I do remember is blood orange lemonade. I liked that one better though. My daughter tried a pink one that I can't remember the ingredients from either but she liked it too! All in all we all really liked it here and will definitely be coming back. read more

I'm going to put the Rolling Hills Plaza Blaze Pizza on pause for awhile. Shortly after the pandemic started, I ordered a pizza, which order did go through. I got the confirmation through my email, but the place did not have my order when I went to pick it up. Nearly a year later, the other day, I went in to pick up my recent order and was told by the girl in front that they were still working on it, though, my phone message said otherwise. I waited. Others were waiting. A couple of the pizzas were literally "smoking" from the heat as the girl in front needed help and could not move fast enough to box and cook the pizzas. No one could. It turned out that for the 40 minutes I waited, my pizza was behind me on a table. So, they were not still working on the order. It was cold--and burned on the bottom. No good. I ate what I could and threw the rest away. So, I'm going to "pause" this one for awhile, maybe wait until they can cook like a regular restaurant instead of fast food. They took only phone in orders that night, and I don't think that idea helped their service any. read more
