I devoured mine while they have ready to grab to-go boxes for those that can't go all Kodiak on the pie. The only issue was the crust on our high rising pies did not stick together and separated. Best costumer service I have ever received anywhere let alone fast food. You could tell all the employees were genuinely nice people.

I've been to 3 made-to-order pizza chains now and I have to say Blazed Pizza is my favorite! The other places I've tried is Five Pie and Your Pie. Blazed Pizza has Five Pie beat in terms of flavor and I prefer it over Your Pie bc all toppings are include in the $7.99 price (before tax). The other 2 chains offers a build your own salad and the salads at Blazed are premade but I don't go here for the salads. You can place your orders online but they will not cook your pizza until you arrive, which is what I did. Super easy and convenient! When I arrived I was even offered a free drink. Not sure if that was the norm or my lucky day. Lol. Lastly, I'm somewhat of a tree hugger and love that they use eco-packaging. I love companies that are ecologically responsible since it's unfortunately not very common. read more

We have a Your Pie in our area of town, so we did have something for comparison. The staff was very friendly and explained how everything worked since we were newbies. You can order a pre-set pizza, or you can choose your own toppings. The nice thing about that (in comparison to Your Pie) is it is one price for all. I opted to make my own and choose lots of fresh veggies (spinach, roasted red pepper, fresh garlic, banana peppers), with a smidgen of turkey meatballs (gotta have protein, right?!). Hubby went right for the bacon, pepperoni, meatballs, & fresh ricotta on top. Pizza is ready in a flash, and it was cooked perfectly. Luckily I found mine after just 1 visit to Blaze. I have since been back more times than I care to admit and I'm not even mad about it. If you haven't been here, its basically a build your own pizza bar. You choose your crust, sauce and toppings and within 180 seconds your pizza is done. You can then choose from several flavors to drizzle over the whole pizza. Uh. Yum! The flavors are amazing and you actually get to taste the topping instead of getting a mouth full of dough. Speaking of dough, the price isn't bad either. By the time I get my salad, pizza and smore's cookie I'm spending less than $20 and the cool thing is, that can feed 2 people! I decided to grab a pizza today and I'm glad I decided to go to Blaze. The subway style build your pizza is up and coming. In about 5 mins, hit and fresh pizza is ready. I love traditional style crust and the size is perfect for one person... if your hungry. The staff is very helpful and kind. With that being said, almost too kind. The manager on duty was a bit much for me. Kind of over the top which comes across as fake. Just my two cents. The cleanliness of the restaurant was great. I love this concept, I've tried a place like this when I was in Birmingham. I'm glad we finally have one in Jax!!! It's similar to Chipotle just for pizza. Walking in the place was packed we got a little worried about seating, there was 11 of us and it's seat yourself. This place is so fast paced tables became available quickly. Ambiance is trendy and it flows with the concept. We got in line, it moved pretty quickly. All the Servers were friendly and attentive as your pizza moved down the line for sauce, cheese and toppings. Cashier was friendly and quick. I expected to wait awhile, I put my lid on my cup and my name was called. My pizza was ready. 7.95 you get a 8inch pizza with what ever toppings you want on it. If you just want cheese it's 5.00. And if a business admits that right now is not the best time for an order with strict separation requirements - I appreciate that honesty and them not getting me sick. :-). I will go back. You walk down the assembly line, the employees are super nice and very eager to help you create you pizza masterpiece. My pizza had a bunch of yummy toppings! Blaze is just like Pieology with a different assortment of toppings. This reaturuant was super clean and neat. The topping station was kept very clean. Our pizzas turned out pretty good except next time i will do without the tomatoes. They kinda made everything wet and my crust was a little soggy. The workers were super nice especially the cashier. I didn't have any problems with this and placed my order of 5 pizzas... 3 kids and 2 adults and we all got to pick our own toppings! The oldest is allergic to dairy, so it was a real treat for her to get restaurant pizza b/c they have vegan cheese as an option. Long story short, everyone was satisfied. Hubs had bbq chicken, I built my own, kids had 1 topping each. No complaints and I like that they wait to fire it up when you arrive, so it's not sitting there getting cold. The service was good, the place is clean and it's conveniently near us. Now these deets are strictly around my personal tastes: I've gotten used to a pan/thicker crust pizza, but when the toppings are right, this is how it should be, that thin, NY-Northeast style. The cheese isn't the stringy/stretchy type you'd get in NY, but for the options to "Build Your Own", this is a pretty darn good find. Now they don't have all the extra stuff like breads, wings and everything else under the sun like some places do, but that didn't bother me, b/c if you come for pizza, it's good. I had Blaze for the first time in San Diego and was informed they were opening one here! I loved the one in San Diego so was very excited to try it here. I found it even better!! The service was impeccable. So warm and inviting and willing to explain everything to the others I was with who had never had it before. The topping array is vast so you are definitely going to find what you like. Keep in mind though that if you like your pizza too much they will have to cook it longer and it may get some blackened edges. I learned that the first time I went cheese happy and got probably a pound of cheese!! They have drizzles you can add on top and even gluten free crust. For the price you just can't beat Blaze. The restaurant is clean and there are plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your pizza... I chose to build my own pizza... Jalapeños, chicken, bacon, pepperoni and shredded mozzarella.... It was very delicious... You can add as many toppings as you'd like-free of charge.... You can ask for as many as you'd like...The manager informed us the reason they don't like to "overload" the pies is due to how they cook the pizzas...
