Wow!! Stepped out today to come to the yearly PiDay at Blaze and man was this location BUSY!!! Everyone was hustling the line was out the door but I did not mind the wait since it seemed like it was moving pretty steady. The workers seemed ready for today's business with everyone working at the same speed it seemed like a warehouse belt line. The food was AMAZING as always. I ordered a cheesy bread and a high rise pizza. It was wonderful good to see the same manager still running this place Irma. She was just about everywhere helping her team another guy at the register Gabe was helping things run with a girl named Vivianna who was helping on the register and talking to us in the line along with someone else named Shane. They were happy to talk to each other but not to us to take our order. The counter where the toppings are was really messy too. I like build your own pizza places. This just wasn't great. The service was really good; friendly, fast, and attentive. I loved seeing the employees staying busy the whole time we were there. When there were no customers they were cleaning the tables, sweeping, making boxes, and starting crusts. None of the employees were ever just standing, on their phone, or visiting. It really made me feel like they had great training and really cared. Something you rarely see at most places now days. The pizza was just not great. It was fine, not bad, just not good either. The toppings were not plentiful, the crust was ok, the sauce wasn't very flavorful. The customer Don G. that left a comment before me is absolutely correct in every aspect. I just left Blaze Pizza after having to return because my pizza was dry, had 4 small pieces of pineapples on the entire pizza, most of my toppings were all on one side and the top of my pizza was burnt. Richard or Richie rushed me, was rude, slammed trays around, talked trash about me to another coworker and told me "for your information, next time you can tell me how much sauce you want before I put it in the oven". I wasn't able to tell him I wanted another scoop of sauce because I had to stop him from putting mozzarella cheese on my pizza which said "Vegan" on the paper and it says "glove change" which he didn't do after touching the real cheese then touched the vegan cheese. Some people are allergic so that's cross contamination for people with allergies or are lactose intolerance. He even rushed the lady next to us and confused her and she told him "slow down". I understand people have OFF days but he was just disrespectful and doesn't understand how to treat a customer especially a customer that's being nice and respectful. If it was my aunt or cousin she would have hurt his feelings and embarrassed him honestly. Please give him training on etiquette, customer service and communication skills. He took the old pizzas, threw them away, (wasting food) He didn't apologize, didn't compensate us for our drive BACK to Blaze. NOTHING. (We live 20mins away so you know it was serious if we had to come back). Richard does not know how to be a leader and gives off bad energy and is too anxious. Please fix it.
