After waiting in line (nearly 15 minutes), I got to the counter to order 2 large pizzas. I was asked to go to the cash register to pre-pay for the large (I guess that's their procedure). After paying, it was unclear what the process is --- DO I GET BACK IN LINE IN MY ORIGINAL SPOT or what? I stepped back while still in the line and the team members assisted 5+ customers who had come in after me and it wasn't until I stepped up and asked if someone was making my 2 large that they started my order. BLAZE needs to get better procedures for ordering and making large pizzas...removing me from the line and not placing me back in my original spot was ridiculous. Also, once you order the large they don't seem to want you to tell them what you want on the pizza --- THEY PUT WHAT THEY THINK SHOULD BE ON THE PIZZA and don't allow you to see what they are placing on the pizza. They then proceeded to put items on the pizza I and my child is allergic to...I paid and ordered ONLY cheese and sauce (not spicy) NOTHING ELSE. --- IF YOU CONTINUE THIS ROUTE YOU WILL HAVE TO REMAKE A LOT OF PIZZA AND WASTE TIME AND MONEY!! I don't have to ear BLAZE pizza there are numerous pizzas in and around town. So, I cancelled my order that I paid for and left and went elsewhere to order pizza. BLAZE needs to come up with a better procedure for requiring patrons to pre-pay for large pizza, not allowing the pre-paid customer to see what's being placed on the large pizza, the cashier is not able to indicate on the receipt (which it appears it what the pizza making staff sees) what items is not to be on the pizza and not placing customer back in their original spot. My husband and I ordered 2 pizzas from this place Friday, May 8. When the delivery driver came, he only delivered 1 pizza and said he did not want to bring the other one because the restaurant had burned several pizzas and he didnt want to wait 40 minutes. The pizza he brought was also burned. I tried to call the restaurant, but they do not take calls. I went on the website and made a complaint but they have not got back with me. My son and I went to the Blaze in Lancaster to grab some pies for his unofficial birthday celebration on 7/30. I usually love Blaze pizza, however, I was very disappointed with this visit. We arrived around 8:30 PM, they close at 11 PM, and we decided to pass on the salad because it was VERY wilted and needed to be replaced, I can't believe they would serve that to anyone. I ordered a pepperoni pie for him and I got a BBQ chicken pie. They were out of red onion, which they failed to mention when I placed my order, I could have gotten something else. Once our pies were done and boxed, I noticed that the cook didn't put BBQ sauce on my pie, I had to remind him. It doesn't seem that the line workers were doing pizza with a sense of urgency. It took about an 30-40 mins to maybe get one pizza ready for the oven. I do enjoy the fact that they don't skimp on any toppings but the person who I was with was about ready to hop over the counter to make her own pizza because how slow the girl moved. The service at Blaze pizza was hands down AMAZING !!!! One staff in particular by the name of "Alejandro." I'm a regular at blaze pizza and this young man has caught my eye by his amazing service. Not only does he have a special and unique way with people he has outstanding leadership skills. The team seemed to be lost while the shift lead was on break, however, Alejandro was quick to redirect the crew together and multitask during dinner rush hour. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel like this individual needs the respect and acknowledgement he deserves. My family has been huge fans of Blaze pizza since the one at the AV mall opened, but we live in Lancaster and were super excited we wouldn't have to drive to Palmdale every time we wanted Blaze. So on 6/22 at 8:30 we decided to give this location a try. Upon walking up to order, I noticed the food prep area was extremely dirty and many of the topping containers were empty. Since the store was slow at this time there should be no excuse for the messiness and lack of product being stocked. It makes it look like the employees are lazy. So my family of 4 ordered our pizzas to go, and during our ordering process the employees kept having to go to the back to retrieve more product, which makes me uncomfortable because who knows what exactly is being touched along the way. We get to the register, pay and wait for our order. I hear my name called when my order is complete and I walk up and see all 4 of my pizzas are on the cooling racks they put them on after they're pulled from the oven, then I see one of my pizzas just getting cut and boxed then being handed to someone it did not belong to. I told the employee he just gave my pizza away, and instead of asking the man who took it to return it since it wasn't his, he had my pizza remade. My thing is, he pulled the pizzas and called my name and saw on the ticket that they were all one order, why would he just give one away without any type of confirmation?Then 3 different employees told me the people take pizzas that aren't theirs all the time. One employee even told me that her pizza she ordered on her break as also stolen. Waiting for the remade pizza to cook was annoying because now the other 3 pizzas were sitting and getting cold. We get home to find the pizza that was remade was under cooked and my daughter's and son's pizzas were EXTREMELY burnt on the bottom.
