I ordered Delivery service around 6:30pm and my order arrived considerably fast, about 30 minutes later. I ordered the white pizza with bacon, arugula, cheese, garlic and pesto. It had a good amount of each ingredient and it was hot and crispy. I normally eat inside but with this COVID I don't feel like going anywhere. The restaurant is always full but the service is fast. Ordered online and picked up in store. I held this all the way home as I was the passenger. Opened it up and was disappointed. Decided to make the best of it and eat it anyway and halfway through found a hair in it. This was quite possibly the worst pizza I've had in my life. Besides the cheese issue pictured here and the hair, the toppings were sparse. I will never eat at a Blaze pizza again. Ambience leaves something to be desired, but I'm there for the pizza. As a kid I grew up in the pizza business so my expectations were not very high, but I was pleasantly surprised that the pizza was quite good. It's not a New York pizza for sure. But you pick your own two toppings from the visible toppings bar on the other side of the counter, price is right, pizza comes out of the beehive shaped open flame oven, crispy and tasty, with a slight bit of bottom, char, and especially good with a squirt of pesto to finish. Friendly staff. For what it is, size and flavor, I'd probably give it a B minus rating. Being a cheapskate I can't escape thinking that for the same price I could get a full size, eight slice, C grade, 16 inch pizza at Sam's Club. I've been to several Blaze pizzerias and they are consistent in their product. I will go back. read more

Finally! I've been watching with bewilderment for years as Blaze Pizza spread throughout Florida (even to Sarasota) but for some reason kept ignoring the Tampa Bay area. Now that they have finally opened their first location here it's so nice to be able to go regularly instead of once in a blue moon. Blaze Pizza is a fast-casual restaurant chain where you specify how you want your pizza created. You work your way down an assembly line instructing the workers with how you want your sauce, cheese, crust, and toppings. It only takes around 3 minutes for your pizza to cook! You'd think with that speed the quality wouldn't be so "hot" but that's not the case. Blaze has several competitors. I've been to three or four of them, including the one across the street by Costco, and I have found all of them completely underwhelming. Blaze is the first one where I thought myself "Wow this is good pizza." I also appreciate how much of an effort they make to cater to people with different food preferences and intolerances. Besides the standard offerings they also have gluten free crust, vegan cheese and proteins, and the pesto is nut free. Make sure that you join their reward program. Before you pay you can show the employee a QR code from your app and eventually earn some free pizza. They also take Apple Pay. The app actually does cause me some frustration though. You can order ahead for pickup from the app, which is great, but the app really limits you with how you can order your pizza. When you're in person you can give specific directions to the people making your pizza about how you want it constructed. However, when you place an order from the app all you can do is add ingredients. There's no way to give specific instructions about what you want done. After a shared mediocre experience at another fast casual pizza chain, Yelper extraordinaire Chris W. assured me that Blaze Pizza would blow me away. He was right. To date, I've visited Blaze Pizza four times. It is a great place for my family and I because it is relatively affordable compared to bigger pizza shops, it is easily customizable and it is good fired pizza (a style I'm not normally a fan of). The first three times we visited, the line to order was incredibly long. Thankfully, due to the number of employees and their cohesiveness, it moves pretty quick. Yesterday we ordered ahead with the app. Each time our order has been completed quickly and correctly. My go to is the create your own pizza. While Blaze has some tried and true pizzas on their menu, I prefer to customize my own. When creating your own, customizable selections include: *Crust. I always select their original one but for an upcharge you can get a thicker crust or a gluten free version. I enjoy the charred chewiness of the crust. *Sauce. I've sampled the red sauce and spicy red sauce. Other options include pesto and olive oil. Nothing really stands out about either of the sauces I've sampled. *Cheese. While Blaze does offer vegan cheese (it's Daiya brand) I prefer to go without. Other options include mozzarella and Parmesan (amongst others). *Protein. I skipped this until my most recent visit. Blaze just rolled out a new vegan spicy chorizo. I was pleased with it. Other options include pepperoni and regular chorizo (amongst others). *Toppings. Pretty typical list of toppings. I always elect to get the same ones: artichokes, spinach and olives. I love that you pay a flat rate and can get as many different toppings as you like. *Finishes. I've had buffalo sauce and BBQ sauce. I liked them both. Other options include balsamic and arugula (amongst others). My family has their pizza favorites that they order every time we visit. The half a pizza and side special Blaze offers is just the perfect amount of food for the kids. A must have for my wife and kids are the pesto garlic knots. We never leave without ordering at least eight of them. While Blaze is a fabulous fast casual restaurant and I love them for what they are, ultimately when stacked up against my favorite pizza (thick deep dish style) it falls a little short. Well Hello Chipotle meets Blaze pizza. We have Blaze and it's new in town! And by the way Chipotle is next door lol! Step by step pick your base, sauce, toppings, and drizzle. Life is good! Why pick a pizza that is on their menu when you can make your own and pick all that your heart desires. Maybe you might have one of those days when you don't want to think of toppings or you have one of those days when you are extra picky. Blaze will be your best friend then. They make it your way!! There are sooo many options here! The price is great for all you get and the toppings they are pretty much endless. Top it all off, you can get garlic knots or salad. I picked the salad bc I didn't want to carb overload. I was super happy and satisfied with the flavor of this pizza. It came out in no time. They have a competitor across the street... guess what Blaze is my new fave btw the two! Everyone working was super helpful and very efficient. Why 4 stars? Because this is about as good as it gets for fast casual! --- --- --- I've heard so many great things about Blaze Pizza - so much so that I was even willing to drive up to Wesley Chapel to try it as soon as I found out that they opened. I was lucky to be joined by my lovely wife and the face of Yelp in 2017, Chris W! When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was the hilarious employee:customer ratio. It was only a few minutes after they'd opened for lunch, so there were only a couple of people inside. But the manager was obviously bracing for some serious crowds, considering that this was their first Saturday open to the public - I can't say I blame them! Because I'd been looking forward to trying Blaze for so long, I went a little crazy with the amount of food I tried. I'll break down each item here: Drinks: 4.5 stars - There are your standard sodas, a few custom sodas and some fruity concoctions like Mango Fresca and Strawberry Fresca. I enjoyed both of these frescas and always love variety that consists of something a little bit different. Dough Nuts: 4-stars - Blaze's version of garlic knots. These were tasty but a bit inconsistent. Some had a lot of cheese and others had very little. Still, a solid appetizer, if you're in the mood for one here. The wife and I shared two pizzas, which were each half & half... Meat Eater: 3.5 stars - It was fine, but nothing spectacular. BBQ Chicken: 4.5 stars - About as tasty as any BBQ chicken pizza you'll find. Red Vine: 3-stars - Pretty unremarkable. White Top: 5-stars - My wife and I's favorite of the group. Definitely don't miss this when you visit Blaze! I also grabbed a couple desserts... Smore Pie: 4.5 stars - The marshmallow really brought it all together. Sea Salt Cookie - 2.5 stars - A lot of chocolate in every bite, which was almost a bit too intense. Overall, for a fast casual spot, Blaze gets an easy 5-stars from me. But when comparing to all eateries, I'd consider it a very good choice on a place to spend a meal. I hope they eventually build one closer to my house! read more

I was visiting some friends down in the area and they took me here and I have to say wow. You create your own pizza for 895 and you can have as many toppings as you want. They have multiple types of crust and they have multiple types of sauces I got the spicy sauce which to its name was spicy. I say that because a lot of people say spicy and then it's not actually. I got the original crust which is on the thinner side which I like. The peeps it was perfectly cooked and to be honest was probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Great location with plenty of parking. I love the assembly line set up. You can build your own pizza for under $9 excluding tax. If you want a special dough it will cost a few extra dollars. You can add as many toppings as you like. I really enjoyed my cheese pizza with bacon, ham and garlic. My husband loved his high-rise dough with different meats and vegetables. He highly recommends the buffalo sauce. If you have small children, the 11-inch pizza is perfect. My two boys shared their cheese pizza with no problem. I love Blaze! This particular QSR is one of my favorites. It's rather easy always to order and they do a great job of keeping their quality consistent. The dining hall is always well kept and so is the outdoor patio. Service is usually quick, as you move through a line of people fixing and adding topping to your pizza. Your pizza then goes into the oven and your done. They have several side options and a salad option that's pretty yummy and fresh. The dessert could be a better option but it's a simple s'more cracker that could be warmed. All pizza sizes are smaller personal size pizzas, relatively filling and the sides are a good portion to share honestly. They have gluten free options, keto options and low rise dough as well.
