We were out running errands and needed something delicious for a quick dinner. Our friends told us that Blaze has a keto pizza dough, and so we decided to check it out. To find it, you gotta opt to build your own pizza. This is a great option because you can put as many or as little toppings you want on your pie and the price doesn't change. How awesome is that?! They have a variety of dough styles to choose from, and a nice array of toppings available including various sauces, meats, cheeses, veggies, and finishes. I made my pizza on keto crust with garlic pesto sauce, mozzarella and feta cheese, Italian sausage, artichokes, spinach, and finished it with fresh arugula on top. My hubby also got the keto crust, but then he ordered his with spicy red sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage, red onion, black olives, roasted garlic, and finished with arugula. We ordered them online so we could pick them up and eat them at home since we had a car full of groceries in the trunk. The pizzas were beautiful. Mine came exactly the way I ordered it, but my hubby's did not. They added tomatoes and didn't add the arugula. He's easy going, so he was fine with it. But it wasn't exactly what he wanted. The pizza was cooked well and the topping flavors of course were great together on both pizzas. So why the 3 star rating? Well for one, it took longer than expected to get our pizzas. The website boasts they take something like 180 seconds to cook, but it took almost 25 mins to get our pizza, and we ordered them right from the parking lot. That set up some false expectations for us. Next, they didn't make one of our pizzas the way we ordered it, even though it was an online order. There shouldn't have been confusion about exactly what we wanted. Finally, although the crust structurally held up well, to our toppings, the flavor of it was just... EHHhh. The crust was just was completely void of flavor. It tasted like frozen keto pizza crust... like cardboard. I was hoping for a tasty keto-crust but it just added nothing to the overall flavor of the pizza, which was disappointing. My thought is: if you're going to put keto crust on your menu, make one that sets you apart as a place that does it really really well. Don't get me wrong, I would come back here and order another keto pizza perhaps, I'll just have different expectations about what I'm going to get. On another note, they have a nutrition calculator when you order online so you can see how many carbs, calories, etc your pizza has. Even if you build your own. I thought that was pretty cool. I'm a big fan of these customized/made to order pizza places. The concept is simple enough, pick one of their specialty pizzas and let them make/customize it for you or create your own. They will walk down the row adding ingredients then place it into the oven for a delicious pizza pie enough for 1-2 people. The options are endless and they also offer some salads and knots as well if you are looking for more than pizza. The process was quick and easy on my visit and within minutes I was leaving with my creation. There's a competing chain across the street and both are just as good in my opinion. read more

This location is amazing! They are always super fast, whether you order in store or curbside. They're curbside pickup is the easiest and by far most efficient process I've experienced at any restaurant. A different kind of pizza joint. Both of us ordered the pick two as it was our first visit and we wanted to try a few things. Both half pizzas were very good. Not pizzeria pizza but very good. Choice of toppings were many and plentiful. The cheese sticks were outstanding and could stand on their own. The Greek salad was made with fresh ingredients and they do not go cheep on the add ons. Much more than a bowl of lettuce. The size is big, not talking a side salad here. It's about as big as I remember my grandma passing around the table for us to take what we wanted. If you like salads, this would be a great place to try out. Choice of drinks included pop and two lemonades. Fast friendly service. Clean, well kept with plenty of seats. From high tops to tables. We came by just to try out a new place. It is a fast food pizza type place that serve brick oven made to order pizza and salad. We had the BBQ Chicken pizza ($8.65), was surprised it had blue cheese on it but not terrible. We also had a chicken Caesar salad ($5.25) which was just that and nothing special. I was surprised to see Blu Sky on fountain, the Black Cherry is my favorite. The two drinks were $4.50. If you are in a hurry and want a quick pizza in a fast food environment it is ok. Located across from the Earth Fare grocery store to the right of the round about. We thought we would give this place a chance after reading all the reviews on Yelp. When the kids and I entered there was a long line, but was moving fairly quickly. One of my kids ordered four garlic knots, while the other ordered the Meat Eater Pizza. It has red sauce with mozzarella topped with red onions, meatballs and pepperoni. I saw they had fresh baked cookies so I just had to try the chocolate chip cookie topped with course sea salt. The staff was extremely friendly especially when my nine year olds are ordered as I am teaching them manners and proper ordering so they don't become those annoying people. After the garlic knots and Meateater pizza came out of the oven, you are able to add extras like bbq sauce, balsamic, garlic, and other toppings. We decided not to do that at this time. Red sauce not too tangy or sweet. I like that you are able to load the pizza with toppings for around $9. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed in my experience at blaze pizza. I placed a pick up order for a personal 11" pepperoni pizza & 1/2 11" pizza with cheesy bread. Also the s'mores dessert. Probably my favorite pizza place EVER. I always come here and get the Take Two, which includes half a pizza and your choice of 4 garlic knots or a salad. Literally everything they make here is AMAZING. I got half a pizza with pesto and white cream sauce, mozzarella and feta cheese with tomato, pepperoni, and basil. I also got a greek salad and garlic knots. BTW their house drinks are sooo good! I got the cucumber and pear fresca. I'm sad to say I cannot recommend blaze pizza. I typically try to eat low carb so I was excited to hear about their keto crust. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. The texture is grainy and unpleasant. The price is also unreasonable due to the upcharge for the special crust. Id rather just make my own keto crust at home than eat here. read more

Truly this is one of my favorite pizza places ever. The best way to describe this set up is like chipotle, where you pick all of your options (or from a menu of preselected pizzas). One of the most attractive things about this place is that they have vegan cheese and gluten free options. This pizza was SO GOOD! Mod pizza is across the highway, but I enjoy Blaze's much more. The only downside is they don't serve beer and wine like Mod - but the pizza was so good it didn't matter. I was super excited when I found out Blaze opened up near me! (I used to go to the one in Gainesville when going up there). I have to say Gainesville has set a very high standard for Blaze so Lutz lost a star due to atmosphere/friendliness/pizza cook. I LOVE blaze pizza because they have so many toppings and I always go for the create your own, for like 9$ you get anything and everything you want!! How can you beat that, on fresh dough? Yea you can't! They have so many different options, crusts, toppings this is a must try!
