He had the normal crust and it to is very thin and makes it impossible to pick up especially when it wasn't pre cut!!! I love that they have a cauliflower option, however it is very thin and it is just sloppy to eat it. I couldn't even pick the pieces up which were not cut very well either. So, I order from Blaze via their on-line order system, but when I go to pick up my pizza, the manager tells me they are not receiving on-line orders, as their system is down, and I can go stand in line and order what I ordered on-line.... Long line, long cook time, much frustration (guests waiting at home for dinner) and I finally get my pizza. The on-line order system should refuse my order if the blaze restaurant can't take it. I don't know how to avoid this in the future, except to call first, but that seems unlikely to work. Very disappointed in Blaze.... read more

This review is for service only, I haven't tried the food yet. I put in my order online at 5:12 pm, confirmation says takes between 21-26 minutes. Cool. I get here early, have about 6 minutes before it hits 21 minutes. I wait until 32 minutes and I call, and young man answers, verifies my order and car and says I'll bring it right out. Cool, I wait 6 more minutes, walk in, and I see my order sitting there. The have me go get it, some young kid says "you are supposed to call when you get here", my reply "I did six minutes ago" he says "oh sorry we didn't hear the phone". My reply "that's funny cuz someone answered and said I'll be right out with your order". Kid dismissively says "Sorry sir sorry". This was my first time trying this place out and I wasn't all that impressed. The service was very friendly, but the pizza was dry and very doughy. The flavors of all the meat, cheese, and veggies were very bland. I'll come back because of the good service and hoping maybe I came on the wrong night. The cheese bread also had no flavor! Craft-your-own super thin pizza makes for a good stop after visiting The Living Desert. We won a free pizza at a Howl-o-Ween event at the local Zoo so we decided to stop by here for dinner. This is a relatively new place and it looks nice on the inside. There is outside seating which is perfect for Palm Desert's warm fall / winter nights. The pizza was good, I'm partial to the thinner pies and Blaze makes a good one. It's thinner than Pieology, if you've ever been there. Blaze has a rich and diverse selection of drinks to pick from, again another positive. The Blaze staff was on top of things and seemed to work well together. Tip - Don't buy their "Signature" pizzas. Came in for a pizza fix a while ago while visiting my parents. I'd been to pieology a couple times and it's safe to say that they're very similar. Delicious and fresh pizza that is customized to my very picky taste buds. Problem is I eat almost the whole thing in one sitting so I don't crave it that often lol As of now this is the only "create your own pizza" place in palm desert, so this place is always packed so seating was tough. Irresponsible organization. We ordered through the BLAZE app for delivery as they advise on their website and on their phone tree if you call in. They only partially delivered the order. The company makes it difficult to resolve issues with their orders. There is no support in the app. We eventually found a number for the store. After waiting on hold, we finally talked to the store who said it's not their responsibility if the order is not delivered. We have to contact the third party that delivered the order. There was no indication in the app or receipt that a third party (door dash, whoever) was involved. The employee told me I had to figure it out and go to them for a refund. Sorry, no, I did not contract with them for my delivery, it was your app. This company is not trustworthy. Stay away!!!! read more

We never get tired eating at Blaze, and the best thing that i love about Blaze is they're very generous on their toppings, like when i request if they can add more roasted garlic, artichoke and arugula, they'll willingly add more without a doubt.
