Craft-your-own super thin pizza makes for a good stop after visiting The Living Desert. We won a free pizza at a Howl-o-Ween event at the local Zoo so we decided to stop by here for dinner. This is a relatively new place and it looks nice on the inside. There is outside seating which is perfect for Palm Desert's warm fall / winter nights. The pizza was good, I'm partial to the thinner pies and Blaze makes a good one. It's thinner than Pieology, if you've ever been there. Blaze has a rich and diverse selection of drinks to pick from, again another positive. The Blaze staff was on top of things and seemed to work well together. Tip - Don't buy their "Signature" pizzas. Came in for a pizza fix a while ago while visiting my parents. I'd been to pieology a couple times and it's safe to say that they're very similar. Delicious and fresh pizza that is customized to my very picky taste buds. Problem is I eat almost the whole thing in one sitting so I don't crave it that often lol As of now this is the only "create your own pizza" place in palm desert, so this place is always packed so seating was tough. I walked in and said my name to pick up...glad there was no other Mike picking up pizzas. Anyway, drove less than a mile to the gathering, to me the pizzas were nothing special and I felt overpriced. Pizzas were well done. Portion sizes are good. Large is 14" in diameter. We did take out, but the restaurant was clean. End of day, so you can't wait for someone to ask if they can help you. I waited for 2-3 min at the pickup line with a lady/gal looking at me and proceeding with her work. I then approached and asked if my pizzas were ready for pickup. We ordered online, so tip is mandatory and automatically calculated in order to place an order. That just doesn't sit well with me. Irresponsible organization. We ordered through the BLAZE app for delivery as they advise on their website and on their phone tree if you call in. They only partially delivered the order. The company makes it difficult to resolve issues with their orders. There is no support in the app. We eventually found a number for the store. After waiting on hold, we finally talked to the store who said it's not their responsibility if the order is not delivered. We have to contact the third party that delivered the order. There was no indication in the app or receipt that a third party (door dash, whoever) was involved. The employee told me I had to figure it out and go to them for a refund. Sorry, no, I did not contract with them for my delivery, it was your app. This company is not trustworthy. Stay away!!!! read more

Hard to tell what the difference would be if we eat inside. We normally have our daughter order our take out since we are not to literate on computer. The pizza is about the same and I think is actually better the day after because it never comes hot from Uber . When I put on toaster oven the next day it gets better but it's not the best or worst pizza i have had. 3.5 is closer to it. We have only tried margaritas and pepperonis only so I give it 3.5 better than Pizza Hut and lot better than dominoes but not as good as some of the speciality pizza I have had in Palo Alto or Toto's which has been a lot better after the chef made some changes crust is not spongy or full of oil. read more

Blaze pizza is my go to pizza spot. It never fails me. Every location I have gone to other than the hemet location has been delicious!

The pizza may or may not be good, but we'll never know, because we couldn't place an order over the phone. We spent *way* too much time trying to reach them, only to be routed to a call center. The problem? The "call center" dead-ends into a voice mailbox that was "full" whenever we called. So, in summary, no one picks up at the store and their ordering call center routes to a voicemail box. Way to go, Blaze. We wound up ordering from Domino's instead. Much less of a headache. read more
