It took about 5ish minutes with about a couple cars in front of me. I ordered my egg and cheese bagel on wheat. It wasn't bad, just need a touch of salt & pepper as well as a little bit of hot sauce for some heat. The egg was fluffy and they put enough cheese to stick to the wrapper. I was going golfing and wanted to pick up my bagel as fast as possible, so I called ahead to order. I don't know why I wanted to pick my bagel up so quickly, I didn't have any plans for the day. The only plan was to go golfing and I guess eating and going to the bathroom were part of my plans, but I don't really plan for that stuff. That stuff happens. When people say, "sh** happens" I assume they're talking about eating and going to the bathroom. All I'm trying to say is that the only real plans I had that day was golfing with my friend, but for some reason I felt rushed. My bagel encounter at Blazin' Bagelz could have took 4 hours and my day's plans still wouldn't have been ruined. Why did I feel the need to call ahead? When I got to Blazin' Bagelz I found out they had a drive thru. That must have been the first drive thru place I called ahead for and hopefully it was the last. This was our first time visiting Blazin Bagelz. We were honestly on our way to Jamba but it wasn't open, to our surprise this place was open since 6:00 am, so a star for having convenient hours of operations. We thought why not?! As for their customer service, due to the COVID-19, we appreciate any place that has a drive thru, this really does minimize our contact with others. We also appreciated that they require all vehicle drivers to wear a face mask when paying and picking up order, and the server are also required to wear gloves and a face mask. So for safety I added a star. I also want to add that our experience was not over the top , as she(server) had a hard time understanding us over the intercom, and we weren't 100% she got our correct order. For this, we had to check when paying at the window. She had our correct order, and the wait was not that long. We didn't have to wait in line because there was no one else there. Funny enough, the cars were coming in sporadically, which is always the best (am I right?). Now, for the good stuff--the food! Yes, the food is worth the drive. It is like any other food place, dare I say Starbucks? Well, it did offer soy, for those (like me) who can't have diary. They also offered vegetarian options. They had two options "bagel w/hummus" and a "vegetarian." I for one can't have any dairy so I had to get creative on this one. Their bagel with hummus was that, simply just hummus on any bagel of choice. I like veggies though, so I opted for the "vegetarian," but this one included jack cheese, tomatoes, onions, avocado, sprouts, mayo & mustard. Although, I may love mustard on my hot dogs I don't see it as a breakfast condiment. I ordered the "vegetarian," with only avocado and tomatoes, and added on hummus (because yes that sounds great on a bagel). Sadly, my bagel came with onions, its fine I'm not allergic I just don't like them for breakfast (because yuck!), nonetheless I was able to just pull them right off, no problem. The bagel of my choice was cranberry, instead they only had blueberry so how can I say no?! My husband ordered a "sunrise bagel," which came with scrambled egg, bacon, and cheddar cheese. He ordered a sourdough bagel with that. They were good about asking which bagel we wanted but were limited on them. So, come prepared and have a plan b, just in case. As for our drinks, they were actually good. So, if you're looking for a quick pickup for breakfast or lunch, try this place they have many options for bagel sandwiches, and for drinks. Only critique is the customer service could be friendlier, this always ensures that the customer has a great experience all throughout and will affect future visits. read more

I love this place! My favorite thing is the pizza bagel with just pepperoni, sauce, and cheese. It's filling and delicious. My other favorite is the banana split smoothie. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!! Food is fine and the service is slow...but the biggest concern is the fact that they run your card for a different price than what is stated on the receipt! They give you the receipt for the items, but not the receipt of the credut card transaction. Ask for BOTH! The first time it happened to me, I had to come back for the difference and believed them when they said it was a mistake. This just happened to me again and realized it since I have autonotifiications set now on my phone when a transaction occurs on my credit card. I confronted the worker and she said it must have been a mistake. NO. This is NOT a mistake. Shame on them for stealing money from people. Went here to purchase a dozen bagels. When we arrive, the front doors was locked and closed with a sign instructing us to use the drive-thru. Inside were workers playing soccer with each other. I cannot believe the experience I just had at Blazin Bagels! I come here quite often and I've never had a bad experience but today I came home with my order to find a straight black hair in my one half of my sandwich. Since it was small I wasn't that upset and I decided to just call the store to just let them know that I found it but I didn't even request a new one or a refund, I just wanted them to know so they could be aware. Well, right after I hung up I go to pick up my other half of the sandwich and I found another bigger straight black hair! So then I pick up the first half again and really inspect it and I find 4 hairs total within the sandwich! I was so disgusted and I called the store again to ask them for a new sandwich and the employee was very nice and said she would make me another one. I drive back over there and get my new sandwich and ask if I could speak with the manager about a refund for my order. When the manager gets to the window she immediately says "I will only refund you for the one sandwich but not the whole order" (the whole order is 2 sandwiches totaling $20). I told her that I easily could have taken one of the MANY hairs I found in my sandwich and put it in the other one and lied that I needed two new sandwiches but I was being honest about the entire situation and just felt like it was the right thing to do to ask for a full refund. She responded by saying "you know when I go out to eat there is hair in all the food everywhere" WHAT??!! I told her "that's not normal! That's not ok" and she just scuffed at me. I cannot believe this lady is a manager when the associates are so much nicer and deal with situations so much more professionally. I had this place for breakfast on my way home. I had the Hamlet on a plain bagel. I only ate half of it. The bagel was huge. If you like egg, they give you A LOT of egg. A solid temporary stop for a snack if you're driving by Gilroy; but I wouldn't go out of the way to visit from SJ or anything. (Yes, bagels are snacks; a food apertif, if you will.) Love the coffee options, which included a hazelnut flavored one. It tasted great and there were at least another 4-5 options available. I love having a choice! Good ratings for being clean, easily accessible, and well stocked. Bagels themselves have a light crisp outside (when toasted) and super chewy inside, which is just the way I like them! I've only tried the jalapeno bagels, which is recommended if you like the flavor- it's not at all spicy if you're wary of that ;) My only gripe would be that they can be a bit light on the cream cheese. However the Lox flavored cream cheese had actual tiny bits of smoked salmon in it, so in that sense it may be worth the value. In all honesty I was expecting the bright pink (fake-ish) lox schmear, but it is regular plain cream cheese with tiny bits of real fish. Is it better? Meh. But it's still cream cheese, so can't really go wrong and I'll still eat that sh*t. read more

One time I got a pumpkin bagel, it tasted more like a sourdough plain bagel.
