Stopped by to pick up some sandwiches before the beach! We got the turkey sammie and the breakfast banh mi. The turkey was delicious! The banh minwas pretty good but because we took it to go it was soggy! It was still pretty tasty though. Would come back again and will definitely try out some coffee/drinks because they all sounded yummy! read more

Wow! They have great drinks here and very unique! We were staying in the area so came by twice to try out the different drinks: - ice light Vietnamese coffee with oat milk - ice matcha Vietnamese coffee latte with oat milk - ice mango green tea with chia seeds and mango jelly They were all great! Study space is small but it has internet and a bathroom. I just parked in the medium-sized parking lot next to the Pavilion's. I got a seat, but it was prob bc I went at 7:30am. I got the White Mocha for like $7 (3.5/5) and the Wild Breakkie Bowl for like $15 (5/5). Will be trying the other locations bc that bowl was so fire I wish I could've stayed longer to read and write bc it seemed like a great place to do so right across the beach read more

I m so glad my family and I stumbled across this place! The VTM coffee I had was amazing. We went back the very next day because I needed more of that coffee. This time I had the VTM Tiger and it was even better. My husband and his friend tried the breakfast and were very satisfied as well. I also liked that it has an outdoor seating area because I was able to relax for awhile and use their Wi-Fi Great service ! read more

Our favorite coffee spot to go to in all of California. We absolutely love this place. I recommend the Tiger VTM which is a vietnamese coffee with coffee gelatin in it. However everything they have is great. We've gotten many of the food items and they never disappoint. From the caprese avocado toast to the muffins or all the other food options they are amazing. They also have a location at the spectrum in Irvine that we've been to. Everyone wears masks here and to me that is extremely important during covid times. If they didn't wear a mask, we wouldn't go. I literally go inside a food place now and leave if the staff isn't wearing masks. Highly recommend! read more

I used to love their coffee, but when I stopped by today, it tasted terrible. Even though the cashier kindly made me a new one, it was still disappointing. I think the baristas might not be trained well, and the quality of the beans and the temperature may be off. read more

My straw didn't even fit in the cup due to the ice vs coffee served. Not to mention the attitude the barista also served upon ordering. Stopped here while on vacation. Located conveniently close to our hotel. My wife and I both enjoyed Spanish Lattes. Really lovely cinnamon and sweetness. My wife ordered the avocado toast and I chose the bacon hand wrap. The avo toast looked very nice. My wife said it tasted great. The bacon hand wrap was very good. The service was quick and friendly. Our barista made the recommendation on the drinks, and it was spot on. The shop is in a peaceful little shopping center off the PCH, next to a gym. I really liked their iced decaf mocha. It was smooth and sweet and chocolaty. The bathroom was super clean. My only complaint is that we got there at 3:10 and though they are supposed to close at 4 they were already putting all the outdoor seating away. It felt like they were in a bit of a hurry to close. Other than that cute coffee shop. Way better than urth. read more

Popped in for an iced coffee on this past scorcher of a Labor Day (twas laborious indeed), and WOW, was I surprised by how tasty it was!! Their coffee is potent and flavorful! Not watered down/milky like so many others. Got an iced light vtm coffee (since I heard the "light" version is a little less sweet), and the iced vtm matcha latte. Both were SO incredibly good! And their matcha is some of the best tasting matcha I've ever had--flavorful and rich. Definitely high quality. And the flavors on both drinks weren't compromised by the ice, or overpowered by the sweetness. Some of the best coffee I've ever had, and the perfect companion to a hot day. read more

My boyfriend and I wanted some coffee and breakfast and we chose to go to Blk Dot Coffee instead of Urth Cafe, mainly because we wanted some good quality coffee. Service was nice, I was welcomed then got my order taken, I got an iced mocha with sea salt foam while my boyfriend got a carmel macchiato. As in for breakfast i choose the B.E.C, comes withs bacon, egg, American cheese, chipotle mayo, and your choice of an everything bagel or plain bagel. I was SO excited to see BLKdot open their first location outside of the Google offices and elated to see it in Laguna Beach so close to home. I have been here a few times now and tried several things on their menu, The VTM, LVTM, Mint Mojito and regular Latte, all fantastic, the quality is exceptional, the drinks have just the right amount of sweetness and are STRONG. Perfect for a long day ahead, their coffee really gets you going in the best possible way. Service is on point, friendly, very helpful and drinks made well and quickly. Never busy, I am surprised each time that there is not a line out the door. Easy walk to the beach, plenty of free parking, my favorite addition to Laguna, highly recommended! read more

Their peppermint VTM is probably my favorite holiday coffee drink. Their breakfast sandwiches are also decent! The price for the sandwiches is pretty steep though. So if you can get an egg McMuffin somewhere else or snack on something, that might be better. But coffee is a 10/10! read more

GET THEIR JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BAGEL!! I normally come here just for coffee. I recently had this bagel and just wow. Its definitely different. Its the same texture as a crosissant but a bagel. I accidentally found this place on a Saturday morning during this past long weekend. While I was lining up to order I overheard someone telling another person that everything from this place is good! I ordered an iced latte and a mushroom & spinach quiche, and that person was absolutely right!! During my half an hour there, there was constant inflow of customers! The only time the place was empty was when I snapped this shot. There're both indoor & outdoor seating, and even when it was packed it never felt uncomfortably crowded. I'll definitely try other items on their menu when I'm next in town. read more

I went yesterday with my daughter to get two ice coffees. I thought everything was fine until I realized they were ignoring us, making it very difficult to order. Once we were finally able to order our coffees, I got into my car and tasted my drink which was absolutely disgusting. It's tasted rancid and was undrinkable. Unfortunately my daughter and I had to throw away our full drinks. I even tipped the workers thinking maybe they had a hard day. Very disappointed in this establishment and hope it improves soon. My husband ordered the Surfin' Cowboy with fries and pepper jack cheese, while my son and I shared the mahi-mahi fish tacos with sweet potato fries. I also had a cup of the clam chowder, and everything was excellent! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My husband also enjoyed a Laguna IPA. Of course, the views are what really make this place special. The restaurant sits right above the Pacific Ocean, and the views were absolutely spectacular. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing lunch while enjoying the beauty of Laguna Beach. Our server, Peter, was also wonderful. He was welcoming, very nice, and informative with suggesting menu items and he made us feel right at home. Great food, beautiful views, and excellent service...what more could you ask for! We would definitely come back the next time we're in Laguna Beach!

Second, whatever they do to grind and brew them makes them even better. Third, the food is local and homemade and fresh. I would come back again, though next time I might try some of the less expensive menu items.

We stopped by Blk Dot Coffee the morning of our wedding, and it was the perfect start to our day! We ordered the berries matcha, Vietnamese matcha, and matcha einspanner, and every drink was delicious -- smooth, balanced, and beautifully made. Their avocado hot honey toast was such a good mix of savory and sweet, and the egg-ham bagel and B.E.C. bagel were both fresh and satisfying. The service was quick and friendly, and the ambiance was relaxed and modern -- a great spot to sit and enjoy a calm moment before a big day (or any day!).
