Oysters
Julie C.

We are staying at the Trump hotel and decided to try this restaurant. It was the day after Thanksgiving and the lobby was decorated beautifully with Christmas decor. Dinner was amazing. We started with the oysters, they were excellent (great flavor). The bread with butter and salt was delicious. My husband and I both had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. We split the Caesar salad and the Red Hen mushrooms which were excellent. The mushrooms were served in an iron skillet. We shared them so the picture shows half of the portion on my plate. We ended our meal by sharing a piece of key lime pie. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Maria and crew did a wonderful job & praises to the chefs. I highly recommend this restaurant. We're coming back tonight.

Amazing service from beginning to end, but that's expected at the Trump. Came here to celebrate our president's win and had a great experience. The staff was attentive and nice, offering suggestions and quick with their service. They didn't have the Australian Wagyu skirt steak I wanted so I supplemented with the filet mignon and they brought us courtesy appetizers as an apology. The food was delicious and the steaks are the primary reason to come here; we weren't disappointed. 5 stars and will be coming back soon!

Macaron for desert was delicious. Just enough to satisfy the craving for a sweet

The service is always on point and the many never fails to amaze us. We have been here many times throughout the years and love it. This review is of the Mew years eve menu and day specifically. The menu was. Very limited and offered all delicious choices for those who eat anything and everything with absolutely no dietary restrictions or food quarks. They did and will however accommodate you. For example the gluten free pizza wasn't on the menu but it was possible to order for the little one. Thumbs up for that. Ambiance is great. There are televisions all over and you can entertain yourself with whatever they have on. Usually golf or current sports. Guests are always pleasant and the ambiance is always relaxed. You can enjoy your meal in peace. Located on the bottom floor. Restrooms are outside of the restaurant in the hall. You can purchase cigars and the cocktail menu is extensive. There is a full bar so you are not limited to what is on the cocktail menu.

Spectacular food, service and view. I'd recommend this place 100% and would go back every time I'm around there. Our waitress from Bolivia (I forgot her name) was very thoughtful, motivated, very friendly, intelligent and had a very pleasant personality. All the people working there were very friendly and the food is delicious. I had the most delicious pan seared Branzino. The Branzino is grilled in the menu and it has the skin, but I asked if I could get it pan seared and with no skin and they had no problem making it.

Indoor and outdoor seating available. We decided to sit outside which was lovely. The service was perfect, food was delicious and wine was perfect. Absolutely no complaints on my entire experience, highly recommend the sautéed Dover dole, so yummy! I also liked the options available for sides on the menu, I wanted to try them all!!! I rarely give 5 stars but everything was perfect.

Not only is the food amazing but the service is fantastic. The steaks are cooked to perfection. And don't overlook the breakfast/brunch. There is something for everyone. Will definitely be back.

Chicken wings (can't remember the flavor)

This place is located inside the Trump hotel and let me tell you. I was there twice and twice I was amazed and impressed with their kindness and their food. Their wings are amazing and one of the best that I have had so far. The bartender was very nice as well as the waiting staff. One night I got their steak and I know I make amazing steak, but the one here was really good quality and perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend it.

View from the veranda

I came here with my friend for my introductory Miami Spice experience. It is in the lobby of the hotel, but has its own well appointed space with bar, inside, and outside verandah seating. The verandah overlooks the well-appointed golf course and on a gorgeous day like the day we came, it seemed criminal to not sit outside in a half-crescent booth with an unobstructed view. However, after sitting outside for about 30mins we instantly regretted our decision as the heat was almost overwhelming and the ceiling fans they had seemed to be merely for decoration. We asked for the Spice menu when we were sat and perused the main menu for apps & drinks as well. I was not at all impressed w/their wine offerings as they were not only grossly overpriced for the wines offered, but the selection was lacking as well. This really surprised me as they seemed to have a very impressive open-view wine cellar when we walked in. I ordered a $13 prosecco to help offset the impending heatstroke. At least they gave a fair/full pour. They brought out these complementary popovers that I think were some kind of sourdough. They were surprisingly delicious and I appreciated that they came with real butter and the sea salt was a nice touch as well. We ordered the bacon and the tuna tartare outside of the Miami Spice menu and both were delicious! The tuna tartare especially as it was served chilled and with just enough flavor. Their spice menu started us off w/a "Lobster Bisque Cappuccino", which would have been deliciously eccentric on any other day than one that was teetering on 100 degrees w/humidity. I could not finish most of mine as I wanted nothing to do with a hot beverage at that point. I think this offering would have been better served on their dinner menu or maybe later in September. A nice light salad or some other light and cool dish would be better matched w/the seasonal temp of a lunch menu in Doral, FL. I defnitely should have gone w/the heirloom tomato carpaccio! My friend ordered the short rib grilled cheese and I ordered the chicken and waffle. The short rib left a lot to be desired, though the truffled fries that came with it were tasty. The chicken waffles were pretty tasty and served with chicken ice cream, which for the first few seconds until it melted was delightful. We each had one of the two desserts offered and the chocolate pot de creme was excellent and the tres leches cake with fresh fruit was a nice finish. The waitstaff was actually pretty decent and attentive, so no complaints on the service. Now on to why the two-stars. My friend and I were grossly overcharged here. We were charged for the dinner Miami Spice menu and did not catch the error until it clicked with us that we should have paid $23/pp for a Miami Spice lunch. Seriously, this bill was what a very nice dinner would cost with full courses and wine! Needless to say, we sorted it out and apologies were made (how we were charged for the dinner price at lunch is still a mystery to me, though maybe I shouldn't be that surprised considering the location?) with assurances that the charges originally made to our credit cards would be corrected. They stated that the charges that were originally made would just not be closed out and that the new charges would be the ones processed through. That was over a week ago. I finally had to call my CC company to dispute the charge as the corrected one never posted 5 days later and lo and behold all of a sudden the corrected amt (which was still a bit too pricey for what we had) posted to my card the next day. That kinda stuff (overcharging and then still not fixing when you say you will) always leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I will never come back here despite (other than making the mistake of sitting on the verandah) what was an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

Our kids only ate 1portion of burger and fries because I know they can't finish it because the portion of their burger and fries were so big. The food here is very affordable, they are very tasty, very clean place and large portions. Deliciously fluffy and great with butter but they are still just dinner rolls. Hokkaido scallops (5/5): honestly one of the best bites of food I've had in years. The sweetness of the scallops, slight spice from the sauce, and balanced with pickled ginger...perfection. No words after bite 1, near tears after bite 2. Agnolotti (5/5): get this. The corn, crab, sauce...everything about this worked. This is like a healthy work environment where everyone lifts each other up. You'll get the sweet, the chew, the softness, the salty. Just get it. 26 oz ribeye (4.5/5) with peppercorn sauce (4/5) and bone marrow vinaigrette (5/5): okay so this dish was our main and it did not disappoint. You can definitely taste the beefiness from the dry aging and that alone was enough. With the peppercorn sauce it was great. BUT with the bone marrow vinaigrette, that took this steak from "really good" to life changing experience. Kouign amann ice cream sandwich (5/5): if you've never had a kouign amann, it's like if a croissant and a cake had a baby. Add in some ice cream and this dessert would've had to choke me to death on the way down to not get a 5/5. I'm alive and arguably more than ever after eating this platonic concept of dessert perfection. Get this! The restaurant was beautiful, interior looks like an NYC steakhouse while the exterior outdoor seating is very Miami. The service was some of the best I've ever had. The staff make you feel at home the moment you walk onto the property. I say property because it is much more than a restaurant. It is a gorgeous courtyard, multiple bars, a huge dining room. It's one of the most unique layouts I've seen and it creates the foundation for an incredible experience. Our reservation was 8:30pm on a Sunday and it was packed. There was not a single open table. We left around 11pm and still, totally packed. Sunny's is a hot restaurant - anytime, any day they are booked solid. The food is incredible. We started with the raw bar and had oysters, scallops, hamachi, and razor clams. The raw razor clams were the best I've ever had. The scallop with the salsa verde.... Wow. Amazing bites. We got the sausage filled with Comte cheese. This is one of the best items on the menu. Must order. We ordered the agnolotti and cavatelli. The duck cavatelli is an excellent pasta dish. The crab agnolotti is one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, if not the best (contenders are Torrisi and Lilia so you know I know). When you bite into the agnolotti, it bursts like a soup dumpling filled with rich corn butter and cream. It's quite literally magical. You have to appreciate the genius and talent that went into this dish. We finished with the hanger steak - perfectly cooked and seasoned. We enjoyed it with potato butter and green peppercorn sauce. We also got the fries. A perfect, golden, crispy fry dipped into the potato butter as an experience on its own. Our dinner ended with the kouign Amann ice cream sandwich. A must order if your second stomach can handle it. Not sure if I've used the work "spectacular" in any of my Yelp reviews to date, but Sunny's deserves it. A night to remember!

If you're looking for a high-end dining experience in the heart of Miami, Dirty French Steakhouse…read morein Brickell absolutely delivers. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and delicately seasoned--light, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Between the quality of the food, the execution, and the level of service, it feels justified. Bottom line...If you're willing to splurge for a memorable steakhouse experience, Dirty French Steakhouse is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back.

Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.
