Great service, care and looking at detail.... as always, when I come to a steak house, 50% is the waiter and 50% is the chef.... if the waiter does not know to tell the chef, the chef cannot do what we want!! So they took good note of what we ordered and magic... the chef delivered... so both did a great job!!! Congrats!!! Management... after my first review several years ago when I alerted that something was wrong, good actions were taken... so high 5 for you too!! All the meat we ordered today was very good... the hanger, VERY good... even though the cheapest, very good... we had the new york, very good as well, the filet mignon... also very good... the skirt well prepared but beware it comes with chimichurri.... my daughters branzino also very good.... i had my signature cowboy bone in ribeye... rare Pittsburgh style... very well made!!! As sides, all were good but the hen of the woods mushrooms were top notch!! Crisp, a touch of citrus, and al dente... delicious!!! $28 a person to do breakfast buffet. You kind of have no choice but to go with that, because any entree on the menu costs around $28 and up, even if you just want eggs. Things available at the buffet: omelette station, pastries, cereals, yogurt, bagels, lox, fruit, coffee and juice, bacon, sausage, and waffles. Everything was great, and they allow you to take your food to go if you don't finish. The view here is the best part. You can sit in or outside and have a full view of the 800-acre golf course. We came here as groomsmen with the groom himself, having brunch before the wedding. The items that they did have were so so good! But considering its the Trump and Trump pricing, you'd think they have a better selection. They had very small selection of a wide variety of that makes sense. Like: two kinds of cold cuts, 3 or 4 kinds of fruit, not a big meat selection, only salmon for fish, etc. not even a lot of baked goods. I found it a bit surprising to be honest. Now in their defense, the place was very clean and the service was also very good. Good bar, Nice bar tenders,the hotel is really beautifully decorated. The bar has a huge wine, since the manager is a wine enthusiast he has the best of the best, its very impressive, the list goes on and on and its like a booklet which is divided into countries in alphabetical order. I was delighted when i saw that Barolo was on the list and even more when i found some Savignon Blanc from New Zealand. I wish they had more liquor, they pride themselves in being a full liquor bar but they don't have Saint Jermaine, Kettle One, Midory, Pisco or Cachaça.... C'monnnnnnn. Beautiful restaurant with a view of the golf course. Very upscale with a nice menu. We ate here during the 2014 Miami Spice promotion. We had to ask for the MS menu. The popovers were the highlight of the dinner. Delicious and very impressive. Steak was cooked to perfection. Wait service started to be very rushed, however, after explaining we hadn't seen each other in a while & we needed a little time, the waitress backed off. The bill arrived reflecting the regular menu prices and included an 18% gratuity. The final pricing was reflective of the $39.00/pp MS charge. Valet parking only however with restaurant validation was $5.00 plus tip. Great place for a special occasion when price is a non-issue. read more

Came here for Miami Spice. We sat outside on the porch. Unfortunately I was bitten by mosquitoes. The view of the golf course and setting sun was amazing beautiful. The complimentary pate dish was runny. We did complain and the managers were very nice and comp'd us with a glass of champagne. Apparently the pate was not set but they still served it. Our popovers were cold which was replaced by a second set. It was my first time having a popover so I didn't mind. The steak awesome!!! Love the corn dish. The desert to die for. Valet parking is $5 or you can self park and walk 3 minutes to the main entrance. The decor is fabulous. read more

The views behind the restaurant at the golf course are breathtaking, obviously! But let's get down to the nitty-gritty... The cocktail shrimp appetizer with that we got, was absolutely delightful. I don't think I've ever seen shrimp that large in my life LOL But what really took the cake and threw me over the top was our ribeye steak. Ribeye steak is my favorite, it's the only when I order everywhere I go... I have a lot of experience knowing what's good and what's bad and I can tell you right now it was the best one I've ever had in my 37 years on this planet. So flavorful so tender, like literally my knife was melting inside of it. Every bite was heaven on earth with the perfect amount of fat to give it the most intense flavors. I was extremely disappointed to share a special birthday at the Trump Doral. My partner and I were staying at the hotel for the evening. We went to BLT for a $340 steak dinner. I arranged to have a slice of birthday cake deliver to room only to be surprised by the bill for the slice of birthday cake. In all of my travels, especially staying at five star hotels, I have never had to pay for a slice of cake to celebrate a special occasion. Ended up coming to just over $35 for 1 inch slice with a couple of raspberries delivered without cutlery or napkins to the room. The service at the hotel was horrendous I would absolutely never recommend staying here and I personally will never stay at the Trump Hotel or resort after this experience. read more

High end! Exceptional service, smart extra's and fantastic food!!! The only thing that made me give 4 stars over 5 was the gratuity. It's an automatic 18% no matter how large or small your party is. That's ok with me but they don't tell you until they hand you the check. I do recommend this place for a nice meal on a celebratory occasion. I took my folks there and it was just under $300. I came for lunch with my coworkers on a Friday afternoon. The ambience is super chill and there were maybe 3-4 tables occupied around us. We ordered the oysters (which I don't eat, but my coworkers fell in love with it), filet mignon, grilled bacon, and wine- lots of it. All in all, the bacon was thick-cut and very good... the presentation was also really cool! The filet mignon was really nice and juicy, I really liked it. As far as the wine selection goes, they ran out of the one we liked... I think they could do a better job of stocking up, however, they did give us another, more expensive wine, for the price of the other which was really nice. I am a huge Trump fan and my review is not about Trump. I've eaten at the one in DC, White Plains, and now this one, and they all sucked. I had a burger for lunch today and for $18, it's a scrawny burger. I asked for extra pickles, and NONE came. I had to ask for ketchup which came after I ate half the burger, which I only ate because I traveled today and was starving. The the pickles came and were horrible. I have no idea what kind of pickles these are. Then the waiter bought the extra pickles, and brought literally ten of them. I told him how horrible they were and he said they have other kinds of pickles, which I knew they didn't, but he insisted and brought out what he thought were other pickles. He brought out English cucumber ribbons. He has no idea they're not pickles. The salad dressing was awful. I didn't eat it. I asked for the chef and the manager came. He didn't charge me and offered to cook me other food which I declined. I'm at a conference and BLT is our only food choice tonight so for dinner I ate at the bar. Ordered the Steak Tartare. It's ok. Uneventful and flavorless. The service is awful. You literally have to ask for every single thing begging to be waited on. My friend waited 30 minutes for a popover. We had to get the manger to get one finally. The best part was this.....We asked the bartended to put the baseball playoff game on the TV. He said they don't get the channel. We looked at each other in amazement. We told him to put on 805 and MAGICALLY the game was on! This bartender was just too lazy to figure out what channel the game was on. In one word- WOW! My husband was looking for a place to celebrate his birthday. We've been to all the traditional steakhouses so many times that when a friend suggested BLT we were eager to try it and could not believe we had not heard of it before. The food was incredible, but what made this place more special was the service! Our server Esteban made sure that my husband Sergio was treated special for his day! Esteban was so kind and generous to bring so many treats on the house that he knew Sergio would love. I could not help but appreciate everything he was doing to ensure our dinner celebration was a success. :) Three of our best friends joined us for dinner and each of them were just as impressed. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the "Cowboy" which was a 22 oz ribeye and let's just say it looked amazing. Excellent steaks and upscale wine menu, the Italian Brunello wine list was incredible. Steaks served perfectly! Lovely atmosphere, get the seafood platter appetizer. Highly recommend the steaks and the Brunello di Montalcino Vino... The lobster entree was passable, but I would not order it again. The ahi tuna was mediocre as well. The place itself extremely well put together, from the moment you walk in and all the way to your trip to the restroom had great attention to detail. As for the food I ordered the NY strip that came accompanied with an order of mushrooms and another one of asparagus. The portions where hefty and the extremely flavorful. What a great way to kick off the Miami Spice Menu month. I happened to stay at the hotel as part of a great spa package offered and I had read several articles on under the radar steak houses so I definitely wanted to take the opportunity of their fixe price menu. Compared to last years selection most steak houses did not offer steak so it was nice to see steak on their menu. I am not one to crave steak so I was happy to see a fish selection on the menu as well. For appetizer I ordered the shrimp ravioli which resembled a shrimp beggars purse which was topped off with a slaw. The dish was spectacular and I am not a fan of slaw, but the different textures added a uniqueness to the dish. The heirloom tomatoes were good, but not off the chart. The hanger steak which my boyfriend ordered and usually only orders New York Strip and frowns upon any other cut of meat was very impressed on the tenderness of the meat. The meat was nicely infused with garlic and was not drenched with your typical chimi churri sauce. It was a good quality tender meat with a subtle taste of garlic. My salmon was cooked to perfection and was served with a delicate miso sauce. It did not taste Asian to me, but none the less was unbelievable. The sauce resembled that of a lobster bisque with a kick of spiciness. For dessert I had the chocolate peanut butter mousse which was creamy and had a crunchy layer that created a diversity in textures and was topped with banana ice cream. My boyfriend had the flan topped with pineapple and coconut shavings. It was good, but what can I say I am a tough critic of flan, so for those of you that aren't accustomed to eat granny's flan this will fare great. I think the article I read was correct that this steak house is flying under the radar, however with the quality of the meat, nice surroundings and impeccable service they can compete with the best of the other better known steakhouses in Miami. read more

Yes i know the place is sorta new but you should have your crew up to speed before you open especially at a location like this. I did notice they were trying but still. It was always a mission to find someone to refill our drinks and check up on us. Food - I was hoping for a "HOT DAM THIS WAS AMAZING" kinda feeling but that was nowhere near what i was thinking as i ate my lunch. The presentation was cute though. Bonus points for that. Fries - way too salty - meat looked borng and tasted meh. Not something you expect from a place like this. Price - it was ok. Typical SoFla pricing for a place like this. BLT prime was also my first Miami Spice experience. Friday night and no wait even though we were 30 min late for a 8; 30 reservation. Nice table by the window, it was dark so we did not see golf course, there was a beautiful fountain that was lit up. They have outdoor seating that will be nice when weather cools. When you are greeted by your waiter the kitchen starts your most amazing Popover. (They included a recipe card, so trying to make these at home) Popovers were crusty on the outside and melt in your mouth inside Started with shrimp ravioli with cabbage cole slaw in a delicious sauce(buttery and yummy) Flat iron steak with sweet corn as the side. Steak was well cooked but nothing spectacular. Sweet corn side was soooo good, like the corn was just picked, very fresh. Fingerling potatoes okay. We ordered one of each of the desserts, I'm sorry but I like homemade flan made with love from the Latin community so much better than BTL's. The peanut butter mousse with banana ice cream was clearly the dessert to pick. Even though the restaurant wasn't packed, I must agree with other reviews the service is slow despite the fact that there are alot of waiters. Our waiter was very nice. Decor is elegant and lighting is perfect. The grounds are still under construction, I'm sure it will be gorgeous when they finish. read more

BLT STEAKHOUSE WAS DIVINE!!! Went to BLT to gather information for a private event, I was greeted by the hostess immediately upon walking to the entrance of the restaurant, the hostess has a great smile and quickly took us to a table overlooking the Trump Golf Course which is part of the Trump resort where the steakhouse is located..... anyway, the waiter came to the table right away and gave us a menu and asked for a drink order, we each had a beer which was indeed very cold and was served in a beautiful glass. The waiter explained the daily specials and I ordered an appetizer crab cake, that was superb it had beautiful lumps of crab and came with a beautiful sauce and slaw. I also ordered a tuna tartare which was absolutely amazing to say the least, the portion was perfect on both appetizers. my friend ordered a soup of the day, he claimed it was perhaps the best soup he's ever had. For lunch I ordered the Rack of Lamb, it was cooked to a perfect medium rare just like I ordered it, it was phenomenal I had to pick up the bones and go animal style on them. My friend had the burger, it looked like a very proper burger it was big and juicy he was very impressed by it and said it too was one of the best burgers he's ever had. I have to take a small pause and tell you about the bread!!! It's gorgeous comes with a salt on the side and the butter that goes great with it, the bread is baked specially for each table and it comes out nice and hot, I had 2 lol. The service by the wait staff was excellent, we also met the event coordinator, she was super friendly and did her best to explain their menu and all the possibilities for a successful private party, she was very knowledgeable and showed us around the restaurant. Overall the experience was exceptional, the food was amazing and the service was definitely five stars. In celebration of my mom's birthday, we visited BLT Prime at the Trump hotel in Doral, Florida. Our food choices were from the Miami Spice menu, which includes very tasty options. We also thought the portions were big, considering it was for Miami spice. The service was on point throughout the night. This is a beautiful place to come to, as you can eat at the restaurant and walk around the hotel for a more enjoyable experience. My family and I will definitely be back to the restaurant, and hotel. This review is long overdue, but has valuable information that I can't keep to myself! I visited for a business meeting in July with three colleagues. When we arrived around 12:30 PM on a Tuesday, the restaurant was practically empty...maybe two other tables in total. You would expect that the lack of business might call for even better and more personalized service, but servers were nowhere to be found. After maybe 15 minutes of waiting, we finally got some waters and a few of those unbelievable popovers. TBH, those popovers saved this experience...they're to die for. But I digress... I studied the menu before deciding on the lobster cobb. The salad is described to have 1 3/4 pounds of lobster, so I was pretty excited to indulge. But then my salad came. I'd say there was 1 3/4 pounds of shredded cheese, and then maybe four chunks of lobster in the entire bowl. I was so disappointed -- there was literally no way that this was even 4 ounces of lobster meat. BLT Prime, the trick is to undersell and overdeliver, not vice versa. I was still hungry after eating every last morsel of food on my plate. Once plates were cleared we were given dessert menus, but the server again disappeared. It was so challenging to get anyone's attention that the VP of my company had to vocally flag someone down. Overall, the food was fine but the service was the main problem. I also wasn't a fan of the $16 valet parking, even though we ate at the restaurant. Kind of insane. I don't think I'd go back here without a VERY good reason, even though most of my clients are in the area. Time for a new business lunch spot. read more
