If you're looking for a new drink spot in the San Fernando Valley, BLTea is absolutely worth a try. Their menu is incredibly diverse and often shifts with the seasons. Unless you're ordering one of their staple beverages, don't get too attached to your drink of choice, as it may be gone sooner than you think! The Mango Sticky Rice is my personal favorite, but it's only around for the spring and summer. Get it while you can! Many boba shops in the San Fernando Valley adopt a function-over-form mindset, and aren't any fun to sit in. Even though BLTea is located in a smaller unit compared to its neighbors, they've really nailed the aesthetics and maximized their seating for their customers. It's a comfortable spot to relax in. My only point of contention is their service. I have found that interacting with some of their staff has been... difficult. When I am the sole member of my party, a few of their all-female front-of-house are quite curt and unwelcoming. However, when I'm with my female friends, they get treated with absolute kindness and professionalism (even during the same order). I really enjoy coming to BLTea for their drinks, but I often leave with a sour taste in my mouth because of this seemingly discriminate behavior. This is simply a personal experience I thought worth sharing for my fellow men, and does not apply to all of their staff. Truly a tough three star to give, as it has absolutely nothing to do with their excellent product. EXCUSE YOUR FINEST PARDON?! The mango/pandan sticky rice mochi blew my mind. I literally came here bc I saw the product on my tic tok feed when I was, of course looking up ube places near me (I need my fix of ube every now and then) I ordered the Mango coco seasonal drink too and that was great! Not too sweet. It's located in a plaza right next to the gas station and I found parking right in front. The atmosphere is cute and cozy w plants. Service is friendly. They offered to cut my mochi.

I'm on the hunt for the best banana latte in the city. This one was somewhere in the middle, the coffee was great but there could have been more banana flavor. I still really enjoyed the drink, and the staff was great!

I stopped by this tea place to get my wife a drink since I was already in the plaza this store is in for a Yelp event next door. I found parking just fine but parking can be hard to find depending on when you come. When I walked inside, all the workers greeted me. I look at their menu and called my wife. She said the passionade and fruit tea looked good but I should ask which one they recommend. The lady working the cashier recommend the passionade so I got a large one and asked for light ice. The place isn't that big inside. They made my order quick and I went to the other side to pick it up. I took it home and my wife loved her drink. It wasn't too sweet or plain and they put light ice like I asked.

Cute place, nice staff but I would go elsewhere for specialty coffee; it was very sweet w/o the coffee flavor. Great flavor on the banana latte but it's more of a dessert rather than a coffee & the Vietnamese coffee didn't have that bold coffee taste that it should; didn't even finish my drink because of how underwhelming it was.. Maybe their boba drinks are good but I would not come here for coffee.

I've been twice to this spot in the valley. The spot is in a small parking plaza with ample parking. Overall, BLTea is more of a social spot versus a working spot, but we were able to chill there for a few hours on our laptops. The first visit, I tried their mango coconut drink (actually not sure if they still have it) and an Oreo cookie (not pictured). Both items were solid! During this second visit I tried the banana cream matcha with oat milk and the cream cheese Oreo milk tea. Drinks are solid, and I'm particularly impressed with the matcha. Matcha lovers know boba-centered spots don't particularly have the best matcha, as their focus is on overall drinks. But the matcha here is earthy, not bitter, and meshes well with the fun toppings. Don't expect the best matcha of your life or expect a matcha like those in Koreatown, but it's solid. This second visit, I believe we snagged the only outlet behind the plants and non-working self-service kiosk, so keep that in mind. Service is good but it can get busy and I saw some other folks waiting a while. They also have a stamp card! Overall, great spot in the valley and will definitely be back!

4.5 stars Drinks are easily 5-star worthy--super delicious, vibrant, and smooth. I'd definitely return when I'm in the area. Great variety, and they offer vegan/non-dairy milk, which is a plus. Be prepared to wait if it's busy. The place gets packed, and with limited seating, the stand-and-wait time can be long, which is where the .5 star deduction comes in. Staff was busy but still friendly, with minimal interaction.

I've been to BLTea a couple of times and have always had a pleasant experience. Service is great and staff is friendly and attentive. It can get busy so sometimes drinks take a little longer to come out, but the quality is still there! I really love the seasonal drinks they offer, like the carrot cake latte. There is some room to sit and study or catch up with friends, and it's very nicely decorated. Will definitely keep coming back to try all the different drinks!

Came here after brunch because I needed something cold and refreshing. This spot has tons of drinks to choose from, so it's hard not to find something you'll like. I grabbed the Crème Brûlée drink and a Vietnamese coffee. The Crème Brûlée was good smooth, sweet, and really hit the spot. The Vietnamese coffee was good too, but not as strong as I expected...tasted more like a powdered mix, kinda like Korean instant coffee. Still, overall this place is solid. Good vibes, good options, and perfect for a quick drink run

I found BLTea accidentally, I guess you can say. I was on my way to get coffee but the spot I was going to was closed. Undeterred, I went on Yelp to search for a nearby coffee place and one of the results was BLTea. So I quickly looked through their Yelp page to see what they had before driving over. When I got there the girl at the counter was incredibly friendly. She helped me decide on my Pistachio coffee with Espresso with the matcha cake. She also helped me decide that the next time I visit and there will be a next time I am going with a matcha drink and ube cheese Wait, I have gotten ahead of myself. My coffee had a great flavor and my dessert was incredibly moist; delicious! I am looking forward to going back!!

Tried more things: - the snowy peaches: made with actual peaches and blended together. Not very sweet, and perhaps I should have gotten it during peach season. It has caffeine from the jasmine tea - pumpkin earl grey: a nice blend and you certainly get both flavors - earl grey salted egg cookie: I liked the egg better as part of the milky moon. You can't combine rewards cards, so don't forget to bring them. Also, the strawberry milk has jam, not fresh strawberries, just to know.

I was on the hunt for a quick bite and coffee. I came across this little gem. I originally wanted something savory but upon entering I noticed they had a Dubai mochi cookie. I ordered that and a Vietnamese coffee. They were both delicious and I returned 4 times within 2 weeks to grab the Dubai mochi cookie. The service was fast and friendly. They offered to cut the mochi cookie for me. It was clean and quite cute inside. I can't wait to go back to try other drinks. I'm sad that they will no longer offer the Dubai mochi delight!

My new fave boba spot! Has the best drinks and can tell they are passionate about making different drinks that are both delicious and high quality. There boba is soft, chewy, and perfect! Fave drinks is fountain of youth and blood dragon highly recommend the waffles too and they are only $3 and have with different flavors like ice cream waffles or boba cheesecake waffles they also have a mini arboretum inside the shop and is just beautiful and so refreshing connecting with nature like that. Their plants are awesome and one of a kind, truly! Check it out and see for yourself :). 10/10 majestic and wonderful place. read more

If I could zero stars, I would ! This place isn't sanitary. The decorative fake plants are so dusty I couldn't stand being inside. And they're not taking covid-19 protocols! One of the employees doesn't even wear a mask which makes me uncomfortable. They don't wipe down their seating area and the tables are dirty with sticky dried up beverages! It is no surprise to even see bugs in their seating area !! DO NOT SIT ON THE COUCH. Absolutely disgusting !! Their drinks are definitely overpriced for their quality. I've only been here once and I can say that I won't come back! read more

I love that they use real teas and organic milk. I had the blood dragon and loved the texture combination with boba, red bean, and red rice! They also do a fantastic job with their sea salt cream cheese topping. They sell little asian snacks at the front. They are also super nice and the aesthetics of the shop add something special to the area. read more

I love BLTEA so much. Their flavors are so unique and they taste really good!!! I've never had anything like their Milky Moon drink. Their Valentine's day drinks were super good too. It was my first time coming here and I was super excited! Well this place definitely lived up to my expectations. Number one, the ambience of the place is great. Their decorations were cute and aesthetically pleasing. They even had a cute plant wall with neon lighting.The place is also very clean and tidy. The menu is fairly easy to read and showcased the drinks well with the pictures provided. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with cheese foam and let me say, it is my favorite drink in the valley by far. Swung by on a Saturday (early afternoon) saw that it was new so wanted to try it out. It wasn't really busy! It's in a little plaza-like area, so parking wasn't too hard. Ordered the Twilight Lychee Tea and Brown sugar boba. Brown sugar boba was good! Twilight Lychee... not so much. It was hard to mix all the sugar/syrup that was sitting on the bottom and the taste wasn't really doing it for it. Otherwise, customer service was nice. Best boba drinks in the valleys I would say. They offer drinks with No artificial flavor or high fructose syrup. LOVE their Ube drink as well as the matcha greentea milk drink and their black sesame drink. They are made the fresh stuff and organic milk. The sweetness is just perfect! Oh my goodness. You know you're neighborhood is going up when good food begins to pop up around your neighborhood!!! I truly truly love the ambiance of this place. Ehh, it was alright. Ordered the oreo cream cheese milk tea, signature brush stroke (black sesame), and ube drinks. It wasn't bad, but nothing stood out in particular. I think the drinks are aesthetically pleasing more than anything. And it's not really worth the price (this place is relatively more expensive compared to other boba places). Also tapioca pearls were also kind of mushy instead of having that chewy bounce (could be because I ordered for delivery). They do have the buy 10 drinks, get one free stamp cards, but I don't plan on returning. read more

There was a bit of air in the cup (unsure if normal?), and most of the experience felt very transactional (get in, et out type of service). For that reason, I didn't stick around too long. While I was the only one ordering, the drink took about 10 minutes. While waiting, I enjoyed their shelf displays and interior decor before heading out. Glad to have tried it, but not sure if I'll be returning especially with that parking situation - definitely not a study / work spot with only 30 minutes of parking.

The first sip of the Hojicha caught me off guard; it wasn't my favorite right away. But with each sip, I started to appreciate and eventually really enjoy the unique roasted flavor of the tea. The crème brûlée donut was a lovely addition - just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. ELNO is located in a building with other small vendors, and there's a seating area that fits only two to three people. I found parking easily since I went on a weekday around 4 PM. My sister mentioned that on weekends, parking is a real hassle. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the neighborhood.

I was hoping to try the seasonal mango cream matcha, but sadly it was gone. 3. Pastries: I wanted to try the sampler but I don't thinking they had it yet. I tried one of the cinnamon pastries. It was soft and very cinnamony. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be back soon.

BLTea is such a vibey spot! The greenery and cozy atmosphere make it a great place to hang out. We visited on a Friday night, and it was pretty busy inside. While the service was solid but nothing special, the drinks definitely made up for it! We ordered the Large Earl Grey Milk Tea with boba ($6.40), Large Ube Cream Matcha with boba ($8.65), and the Dubai Dream Cake ($12.50). The drinks were on the sweeter side, so next time we'd adjust the sugar level, but they were still solid. Our favorite of the night was the Ube Cream Matcha--it had that earthy matcha flavor we love, was super creamy, and the ube topping added a delicious touch. The strawberry Pocky and dried strawberry bits were a nice extra detail! The boba was also great--chewy and well-cooked. As for the Dubai Dream Cake, it was good but probably not something we'd get again. The flavors were balanced and not too sweet, but we were hoping for a stronger pistachio taste. Overall, BLTea has an impressive menu with lots of unique drinks and desserts. We're excited to come back and try more! read more

I've been a customer here for about six months and visit multiple times a week, as I really love the drinks. However, today I had a less than ideal experience. I placed a phone order for two large iced matchas with banana pudding and an iced Vietnamese coffee with a crème brûlée top. Unfortunately, I received two iced coffees instead of the matchas. It wasn't a huge issue, so I went back to get the correct drinks. However, the employee taking the order initially told me to keep the drinks, and I left them in my car while I waited. When I returned to pick up my order, a different employee asked me to bring the wrong drinks back. I understand mistakes happen, but the back-and-forth and waiting around for nearly 30 minutes for a phone order was frustrating. This is me and my friends go-to study spot not only bcs the place is pretty with all the flowers and plays really good music BUT THE MENU. There are no artificial flavors and I know from working here back in highschool, that everything is made fresh and from scratch. The owner Rainee let me and some other customers try a sample of her earl grey salted egg lava cookie and I knew it was an instant hit for me. Im always going to get this cookie, you need to try it. The earl grey pumpkin foam was the besttt, the pumpkin is not too overpowering and blends with the earl grey so well. I hope they dont get rid of the salted egg cookie because I know they are always changing their menu and introducing new drinks and desserts but I refuse to let go!! Love this spot! read more

I was so excited to find BLTea; they opened up shop this year. I could not find any quality boba cafes in my area, and I'd always have to drive out several miles for my favorite milk teas. When I noticed a recommendation for BLTea come up on my Yelp, I was eager to try it. Since then, I have become a regular customer! I love that their teas are freshly brewed.
