Yes it's really nice. When I visited it was calm and they have some outdoor tables as well as indoor seating. I could totally see myself working there for a few hours.

Do they have any caffeine free options other than just the straight berry tea? I love boba style drinks but am highly allergic to caffeine and I feel like I'm missing out per lots of boba and milk tea loving friends. Help?

What I usually order is the passion fruit teas with lychee jelly but this time we ordered the passion fruit tea, pineapple smoothie with lychee jelly, milk tea boba and Thai tea boba. I usually order from the person at the front desk but they now have a kiosk to order on and it's easy. My advice is to probably kick the sweetness down to 80%, which is my sweet spot but the boys take it to the max lol. Overall, it's a cool spot, it's close and if you go during the off peak hours the parking isn't a problem. Lastly, avoid this place when the kids aat Birmingham get out of school. Overall, the customer service was the worst part of the experience. It felt like in-person customers were not a priority at all. This was my first time at this spot, and it left a bad impression. The Signature Noodles were nicely done and had some good flavor, I just wish that there was a protein option to add to it. The Signature Dumplings were fine. I've also tried the Spicy Wontons, which were small but tasty. The big sell here is the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup, for $17.95. This is the only dish that's served in a big ceramic bowl, and not a to-go container. It also comes with a proper Ramen soup spoon. This is a meal on it's own. Filled with broth, noodles, chunks of tender, but fatty beef, daikon radishes and bok choy. The dish is good for the price, but the broth was a bit underwhelming for my taste. Fortunately, they have plenty of condiments to add more spice and heat. Over all, Bafang Dumpling was better than expected.

Such a dangerously addicting treat!! We went all out with ube that day, getting Ube horchata and Ube cream top cold brew for the drinks. I would say the drinks weren't as hooking, but I would easily come back for their desserts.

BLTea is such a vibey spot! The greenery and cozy atmosphere make it a great place to hang out. We visited on a Friday night, and it was pretty busy inside. While the service was solid but nothing special, the drinks definitely made up for it! We ordered the Large Earl Grey Milk Tea with boba ($6.40), Large Ube Cream Matcha with boba ($8.65), and the Dubai Dream Cake ($12.50). The drinks were on the sweeter side, so next time we'd adjust the sugar level, but they were still solid. Our favorite of the night was the Ube Cream Matcha--it had that earthy matcha flavor we love, was super creamy, and the ube topping added a delicious touch. The strawberry Pocky and dried strawberry bits were a nice extra detail! The boba was also great--chewy and well-cooked. As for the Dubai Dream Cake, it was good but probably not something we'd get again. The flavors were balanced and not too sweet, but we were hoping for a stronger pistachio taste. Overall, BLTea has an impressive menu with lots of unique drinks and desserts. We're excited to come back and try more! read more

I've been a customer here for about six months and visit multiple times a week, as I really love the drinks. However, today I had a less than ideal experience. I placed a phone order for two large iced matchas with banana pudding and an iced Vietnamese coffee with a crème brûlée top. Unfortunately, I received two iced coffees instead of the matchas. It wasn't a huge issue, so I went back to get the correct drinks. However, the employee taking the order initially told me to keep the drinks, and I left them in my car while I waited. When I returned to pick up my order, a different employee asked me to bring the wrong drinks back. I understand mistakes happen, but the back-and-forth and waiting around for nearly 30 minutes for a phone order was frustrating. This is me and my friends go-to study spot not only bcs the place is pretty with all the flowers and plays really good music BUT THE MENU. There are no artificial flavors and I know from working here back in highschool, that everything is made fresh and from scratch. The owner Rainee let me and some other customers try a sample of her earl grey salted egg lava cookie and I knew it was an instant hit for me. Im always going to get this cookie, you need to try it. The earl grey pumpkin foam was the besttt, the pumpkin is not too overpowering and blends with the earl grey so well. I hope they dont get rid of the salted egg cookie because I know they are always changing their menu and introducing new drinks and desserts but I refuse to let go!! Love this spot! read more

This was my weekly go to but after realizing you cant make a mistake when ordering or else you will have to pay for a remake...thats harsh for a customer who CHOSE to go to YOUR business to spend their money. I was so excited to find BLTea; they opened up shop this year. I could not find any quality boba cafes in my area, and I'd always have to drive out several miles for my favorite milk teas. When I noticed a recommendation for BLTea come up on my Yelp, I was eager to try it. Since then, I have become a regular customer! I love that their teas are freshly brewed. Weekends are generally a bit calmer, but the music is still played fairly loud, so it may not be ideal if you're sensitive to noise unless you bring noise-canceling headphones. I didn't mind it at all and could work normally. Atmosphere: One big plus is that they're open late until midnight, which makes it a really convenient late-night spot whether you're studying or just want somewhere to relax. The shop itself has a modern, casual vibe, and the high traffic gives it a lively atmosphere, though that can be a downside depending on what you're looking for. Also, sometimes in the afternoon, the milk teas aren't available (when it's too late to brew more tea). The matcha here is creamy and earthy yet sweet. Most other matcha places in West LA have watery matcha, so I'm glad the matcha here is better. They use lactose-free milk by default. The shop is small and there is no seating inside. There are just two large tables outside, so you'll likely need to sit around strangers. Service is good, but a bit slow because of how small the store is. Keep an eye out for good deals!! They often have special promos that are great value. During promos the lines can be long, but they're still worth it in my opinion.

On my second attempt, they closed at 2PM on a Sunday, so I was turned away. Weird business. I see people saying to check their instagram for hours updates but an average customer doesnt check a business' social media before visiting..... So I finally got to try Le Phant on my 3rd visit attempt, and discovered that they reduced their menu by half.....which was really disappointing to see after waiting in line to order at the kiosk. Nothing posted at the door about the reduced menu. Found out later by looking online to see that one of the owners was on mat leave. Very small interior. It was a hot day so people were crowding inside and I did not get a chance to see look at their paper menu. Ended up paying $7 for an iced tea which wasn't worth it. It was fine, but very average.

I went to Damo around 2pm on a weekend, and the line was already starting to form out the door…read more Unfortunately, the line takes up a majority of the cafe space, along with the few sitting tables, so it was pretty difficult to find a spot to wait for my drink after ordering. The pickup area can also get blocked by the line or waiting area, which can make it a little awkward when you're trying to reach over someone to grab your drink. I ordered the Coconut Hojicha and the Matcha Einspanner. The Coconut Hojicha was refreshing, nutty, and definitely the standout of the two. It's such a fun twist on the typical matcha coconut drink, and I have to give Damo their flowers for creating something that feels unique. The Matcha Einspanner wasn't particularly stand-out compared to some of the other cafes in K-Town, but it was still a well-balanced drink with a nice mix of bitterness, sweetness, and creaminess. I can definitely see why so many people consider Damo one of their favorite cafes. Despite the crowded setup, the drinks are creative and thoughtfully done!
