I tried their happy hour menu at the bar. The food was spectacular! Nice selection of house wine and the Lamb Chops were the show stopper. They're the best value on the menu. They were served with a pineapple salsa and a wine demi glaze. Cooked medium and seasoned perfectly. They melted in your mouth. I also loved the complimentary focaccia bread and dipping sauce. I can't wait to visit again and try their other menu items but it will be hard to resist those lamb chops. lol The service was good and you gotta love those blue Lamborghini bar stools. lol

The Blu Grotto is so much fun. Great live entertainment, fresh sushi, pizza and drinks by friendly bartenders. The perfect Summer go-to spot at the Shore.

We were here for the band Super TransAM. They were fantastic. Great to listen to and enjoy. Our waitress was attentive and responsive. Unfortunately, our drinks were watered-down, halfway through the drink, it tasted like water. The sushi nachos and pizza were good. The burger was overcooked and took forever to get to our table. Everyone else was done eating by the time the burger came. I recommend that if you come to the bar area to eat, you order pizza or eat before coming. It's unfortunate that you have a hungry, captive audience, and the food is mediocre. Food executed well, and homemade to order would do well.

Yesterday on October 02,2021 my fiancé surprised me by taking me to this lovely restaurant with some of our closest friends. we were greated with excellent service & Casey, the assistant General Manager took very good care of our group and its needs. He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the food as well as the service! This will definitely be a date night spot for my fiancé & I for sure! Cannot wait to go back! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Seems like a cool space for live music. Though the band seemed very distant from the crowd. Didn't realize it was basically at the racetrack. Big outdoor bar area. Didn't try the food but it's worth a visit again.

My spaghetti pile they did not clean up! Ridiculous! It was pretty good tho ngl.

First time here, I mean I got the restaurant week and the appetizer was decent and the main course was good although while I was waiting for my vanilla "gelato" which was clearly ice cream and had a lot of chemicals in it they did not clean up my spaghetti pile and it was their for like 10 minutes! Ridiculous! Besides that it was a 4/5.

My partner and I came here for restaurant week and let me say, the food was amazing. Everything starting from the appetizers, to the main entrees, to desert; it was all great.

My mom was hesitant to try this restaurant as the reviews are inconsistent; however, after having a pleasant previous experience myself, I was able to convince her. First of all, it is clear that there is a staffing shortage (as there is everywhere you go lately)-- but not a problem! The staff was all kind, professional, and took great care of us throughout the night. Well paced service allows time for good conversation between courses (something I personally appreciate when dining out). Nevertheless, we ordered the general tso's calamari as an appetizer--delicious and crispy. We even had some leftover so we brought it home. As for entrees, I ordered the eggplant Parmesan with pasta. The sauce is awesome! My mom ordered the shrimp scampi over risotto per the waiter's recommendation. It was so delicious, she finished the whole thing! Portion sizes are average, so I would not plan to order an entree to split unless you aren't very hungry. For dessert, we ordered the special date cake which came with ice cream and we also ordered a hot tea. The dessert was the perfect sweet treat after a good meal. Nothing to write home about, but very satisfying. The tea was delicious as well (lots of tea options). Some key things to make note of is a nice cocktail and wine selection with several mocktail options as well. Also, it is worth mentioning that certain dishes were priced slightly above what they should be in my opinion, but I would say this is an averagely priced menu considering. In short, by coming here you will get a yummy meal, friendly service and leave satisfied. Is it the best restaurant in the area? No. Is it an overall pleasurable experience? Yes. I also would like to mention that I had dinner at Anjelica's the week prior, and this was significantly better in all areas. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you are looking to try somewhere new!!! *bonus* they had a live band that night which was very pleasant. A little loud, but the band was awesome so we didn't mind. Also, there is a mini-golf course located right outside, so you definitely could make a night of it.

After extending our stay to enjoy the view, with one more drink each, I wanted to check this place out. The not so friendly female bartender advised me there was a private party on the first floor and to go upstairs by stairs or elevator. Okay. So, anyway, I notice in the elevator there's a 3rd floor (roof top) and wanting to prolong our day out, I say, hold the elevator while I take peek on the rooftop venue. Very inviting, so we go to the rooftop, not crowded, and the bartender was fairly quick to take my beer order. I like IPA's and had a hazy, which she suggested. We sit across from a couple on the couch. I decide on lobster roll sliders. I have a feeling it'll take forever for a server to approach, so I order at the bar and point to where we're sitting and pay in advance. The food comes quickly and I have my cash tip ready and the server very sweetly accepted it. The bread was delicious. Not so much lobster, but the bread and combo made it very tasty. $20 for 6. I wouldn't buy if hungry, but it was a decent appetizer, if a bit pricey, during these crazy times and crazy prices we're all experiencing now Our companions (we were sitting in one of the couch area conversational pits) mentioned his partner was unaware he was paying $17 a pop for a glass of white wine, and had just plunked down $34 for two barely half glasses of wine. Um, no. My beer was the usual expected price. The lobster sliders were on soft, tender, fresh mini rolls that were slightly sweet, like "Hawaiian" bread. Decently priced beer. Enjoyable views. And I took special notice that the barriers were slightly above waist high (I'm 5'6") with plenty of space between the barriers and the ground below - just in case your drunk a* decides you can fly. Lol! Good choice! Nice views. Bathroom was clean, but I can imagine the nightmare when packed, as there were only two unisex bathrooms. The Xtra levels would, hopefully take up any slack. A lot of beer houses do not serve food in NJ, so that's a plus. I would definitely check this place out again or go the first time, especially with a date!
