Although CC has all 3, it is very average if not sub par. Hotpot is only as good as the sauce bar and broth it is boiled in. The sauce bar here was incredibly lackluster. 9 sauces total (ponzu, soy, sweet chili, peanut and sesame, sriracha, garlic paste, bbq sauce, sesame oil) is crazy when the restaurant claims it is a hot pot restaurant. If you have ever been to an actual hot pot restaurant you know that this is an incredibly low variety of sauces. No chili oil was probably the part that surprised me the most. The hot pot vegetable, fish and broth variety was average as well. My girlfriend got the plain tonkotsu broth and that was not great. I got the spicy tonkotsu broth and I enjoyed that. The bbq was not great. For wagyu you had an option of 6 different cuts along with the regular hot pot meats. The meat was over salted for a lot of it and only came with 3 pieces for some of them. Sushi was alright as well. I enjoyed the sashimi quite a lot, the salmon, yellowtail and tuna was great. The unagi nigiri was great too. The rolls were pretty good as well, we got a dragon roll and I enjoyed that. Service was great. The waitress put our order in and before she had even left the table we got the meat. The meat food runner was not friendly, but the waitress was kind the entire night and made sure we were taken care of. The longest we waited in between rounds was probably 3-5 minutes. Ambiance was good, the entire restaurant is very small. I'm glad we got a table as sitting near the conveyor belt would have had us feeling very cramped and severely limited the amount of food we could have ordered. It is well decorated overall however. For 2 bbq ayce and a bottle of soju plus a 20% tip, the total came out to 162 for the two of us. This felt ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food and options we were presenting with. A similar night at K Pot would be half the cost with much more variety of meat, hot pot and sauce. I am a big believer in value, and it feels like the price you pay for the quality of food you get here is not. I was ultimately disappointed in this place and would not return.

The lime leaf margarita is honestly one of my favorite margaritas I've ever had. For appetizers, we got the furikake potatoes, cucumber salad, and crab cheese wontons. They were all really tasty, but my favorite was definitely the furikake potatoes. The furikake seasoning gives them the perfect amount of flavor and spice, and I absolutely love the lime leaf aioli that comes with them. The cucumber salad was probably my second favorite. It has so much flavor, and I could honestly eat it all day. The crab cheese wontons were my third favorite, and my favorite part of those was actually the dipping sauce. For our main courses, we got the Korean fried chicken, tom yum noodles, and Three Treasures. My favorite was the Three Treasures. It's a vegetarian dish with stir-fried potatoes, eggplant, red pepper, and garlic sauce, and it was just incredibly flavorful. I was really impressed with how much flavor they packed into a vegetarian dish. The tom yum noodles were a very close second. They had shrimp, king trumpet and brown and white beech mushrooms, tomatoes, tom yum sauce, and spaghetti. Once again, the dish was just an explosion of flavor and really unique. The Korean fried chicken was my third favorite, but that definitely doesn't mean it wasn't impressive. The sauce on the chicken was to die for. It's a spicy garlic gochujang sauce, and it was absolutely delicious with the perfect level of heat. And then there's the Hong Kong French toast, which is one of my favorite things at this restaurant. It has a crispy cornflake crust, kaya coconut jam, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Tonight, we sat at the bar and watched the magic happen. These guys are cranking out amazing and delectable treats you won't forget. The Uncle salad was a great starter with charred cabbage, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, arugula, and peanuts lightly coated in a Thai coconut dressing. A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. The cold spicy sesame noodles with seasoned chicken, granny Smith apple slivers, arugula, cashews and nanami togorashi, a perfect closing dish for an exceptional meal.
