Very casual but very good lunch in St. Armands. A small place so seating is tough sometimes but they serve breakfast all day and the omelet was probably the best they ever had. The BLT sandwich with fruit was perfect for lunch and very tasty. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is similar to a diner. Great value in downtown St. Armands. read more

Had a very good eggs Benedict also had the waffles which I enjoyed. The service was great. Didn't give it a better rating because I ordered the crab Benedict and I got the regular one with Canadian ham. Enjoyed it all the same and they where nice enough to take it off my bill. read more

This is really a hidden jewel in St Armand's circle. Only open for breakfast and lunch and at the end of the road ontoLong Beach Key it is worth stopping. I had a great chicken salad sandwich and my wife had the tuna. Both were excellent and you could not find a better and cost effective lunch in the area. The service was fast and friendly. read more

Best Breakfast place in Sarasota County! Yes, there is a wait, but well worth it. I love the diner/cafe' and everyone there is awesome! Never had a bad meal and the portions are huge. Ive been here 2 times and wish I had not ever walked in the door. Coffee tastes like old toilet water and barely warm. I would pay them to throw it away but instead I am paying over 3 dollars for this toilet water I will NEVER drink .Food cold and incredible bland. NO creativeness to anything what so ever. I had to stop for a minute and read up reviews before I posted mine I was looking specifically for someone with a similar experience to mine to which I'll say it's good to know I'm not the only one. Also I should mention I rarely ever post reviews but this was so important for me to post ! Anyway me and my boyfriend were in town for the first time visiting lido key in Sarasota. We wanted a breakfast spot that was close to where we were staying and came across this location which was just a two minute drive to Armand's circle. The place wasn't as packed as I expected it to be however we were promptly greeted and seated immediately and asked to just pick a table with two seats. Our original server was both smiley and pleasant. We waited for our food and this time another server brought it to us and from then on our she was our new server I guess I don't know why. There also seemed to be an issue with the card machine on this day so I saw them talking amongst the staff saying we are only accepting cash now and they quickly put a sign on the door. Well upon hearing that I wanted to make sure we didn't have to pay with cash because we didn't have any on us. So I asked our new server and I wish I would've gotten her name because she seemed displeased with us even being there, kindly...I asked if we were going to have to pay with cash and she said with such a rude attitude "NO! It doesn't matter". To specifically call her out there were two long haired blonde woman the one I am referring to was wearing a hat! Whenever I wanted to ask her for something she wouldn't make eye contact with me and stayed no longer than a few seconds with us. I looked up at her for a moment she quickly turns her face with anger. I literally have no idea what was wrong with this lady but she was angry about something and clearly showing it in her demeanor. The food was okay it just wasn't anything special plus I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I could have considering I felt completely unwelcome, I don't even want to imagine this but was it because I was the only Hispanic person there? My boyfriend looked over at me and said we shouldn't leave a tip that was the worse service I have ever experienced. I took the receipt since the machine was down they had to take our card information in order to take care of it at a later time, the only thing that made me have a change of heart to at least put a tip down was the gentleman server that day watching him dance and be humorous with his guests. Best eggs I've had in years. You can tell they weren't lying when they said they are locally farm raised and they delivered daily. The breakfast potatoes were fresh not greasy n very tasty. I really liked the pancake. It was thin not the typical heavy thick kind. I will be back!! read more

There is certainly a line here on the weekends, but that is a product of return customers and tourists coming for their delicious breakfast. The omelets are great with a variety of styles including a california omelet with avocado. They also have some healthier options on the menu such as fruit and yogurt, but the home fries are well done and worth a taste at least! Went about 1130am on a Friday and had about a 15 min wait. One in our party got a burger and loved it! Great straight up breakfast options with a few specialities that give it a little flare! Came for breakfast this morning. Had to wait about ten minutes. Waiter was really nice and the food was good. I had the short stack and they were much better than most pancakes I've had.
