This is the go-to spot for brunch! Unlimited drinks and food until about 2 pm. There's hookah and the live DJ knows what he's doing. You will not be disappointed coming here. We had reservations here for four people for brunch. I mainly came because I had seen some videos on Instagram stating bottomless mimosas. Unfortunately, this was not necessarily the case. My favorite part was the brisket which is smoky, tender, and flavorful. Soft drinks, mimosas , and coffee are included with your brunch menu, so that is a good deal. We saw table after table getting in the brunch line, people who had come in 10 minutes after us, and finally we just gave up. We had nine people and about 1:30 PM on Sunday, we didn't have to wait but a few minutes . We all enjoyed everything from eggs Benedict to biscuits and gravy, Chicken tacos, roast beef, salad, fruit, and then we made room for dessert. The Aguas frescas were very good too. Talk about a disappointment! We came here around 5:30p for happy hour. I was given the choice of sitting in the 'formal' dining or the high tops and decided to choose high tops as we were primarily here for the drinks. Once seated, we realized how incredibly slow the service was. We didn't even get water till 6:05 (and I remember this because we were like ok, there are only two tables on this side and I hadn't seen anyone in the 'formal' dining so why is it taking so long). Eventually, we got our drink orders in only to find out anything with fruit (so like 75%, and I'm being nice with that percentage - of the drink menu) was unavailable because they didn't have fruit/fruit cut and she was the only one working (which was odd because we saw at least 3 ppl behind the bar and who knows how many may have been in the kitchen). We tried to order the mojito, which again, out of mint. We reluctantly ordered moscow mules which were average. As for the food, nachos came out cold and not to what we had requested. The guacamole was subpar. The corn dip with the pita was the highlight but not enough pita was given to eat the dip. The sampler (on the HH menu) was ok, nothing amazing. Getting any orders in took forever. Getting chips refilled took beyond 20 minutes. Getting extra salsa, NEVER came. I understand most restaurants are short staffed, but I haven't had this bad of service in a long time. Being out of all fruits and mint so almost all your drink menu is not available is something that should be mentioned before someone is seated before HH. I also do not know how much I believe the fact that since there was only one waitress that no one could cut the fruit for drinks. When I worked in the industry, usually the bartender cut the fruits and here, well, there were definitely several folks behind the bar (not sure if all were bartenders, but there was definitely at least a bartender). With the amount of time it took to make a drink and receive it, I am sure one could cut up some cucumbers and jalapenos for a drink. read more

Blue Mesa is a great Tex-Mex spot! My husband and I stopped by for a quick Happy Hour drink and bite. The drinks are great and the chips and salsa is super good too. I love the unique sweet potato chips and both of the different salsas that are served complimentary. The frozen margaritas are the perfect consistency, and for $5 during HH, you can't beat it. My brother wanted Sunday brunch and likes Blue Mesa because the brunch is normally pretty good. With that being said...... Our plan was to go to the one on Northwest Highway I'm Dallas but when I pulled it up on Yelp the location was marked as closed. So then we tried the Arlington location and that location has been closed for good as well . We went to the one in Addison and the wait was about 45 minutes.
